 I woke up to see a beautiful morning. The sun was about to rise, though the semicircular yellow outline of the rising sun were already seen behind the mountains. Even though Mumbai is a city, the mountains can be seen from the 11th floor where I live. the sky was decorated with shades of grey, crimson orange and finally yellow at the horizon.

 The fresh air greeted me when I opened the balcony door and the early birds were singing in their sweet voices.

 Suddenly my observations were interfered with an hoarse voice which cut through the beautiful silent morning.

" It's morning, its morning!" Sia screamed enthusiastically from her room, though her screams were heard by the whole floor, I think.

 The balcony looked upon the road to the main road. 

My mom brought the tea tray with three tea cups. I saw the watch, it was 7 30 in the morning.

I drank my tea, had breakfast which consisted of a toast and then went for a shower. 

After I completed my chores, I saw the watch and it was 9 00. I had no idea what to do then. 

I suddenly remembered that Rohan had called me downstairs the previous evening, though I completely forgot. 

I though maybe today I can meet these new 'people' who he wanted to introduce me to.

I changed into half pants and a pain pink sleeveless top, tied my long hair into a pony tail, took my phone and was just stepping out when someone asked me, " Where are you planning to go Ariana?"

I turned around and saw it was my mom. " I planned on making new friends. Just going downstairs." I replied.

" Okay sweetie. I am going to go to the furniture shop again. So take the keys with you. Oh! and take Sia too." she said.

Damn!! 

I took the keys and Sia tagged along.

I went down and headed for the garden. Nothing like the experience to take a swing in the morning.

I saw a girl already seated on the swing. She was lost in thoughts and didn't notice me when I came.

"Hi." I greeted her.

Her head, which was looking down buried in thoughts, now looked up at me. She was good-looking, and seemed of my age.

" Hi..." she said awkwardly.

" I am Ariana. I am new here." I introduced myself.

" Hi Ariana, I am Deepika." she said in a clearer voice as if she got the answer to the question which was in her head a minute ago.

" So...are you a friend of Rohan?" I asked her.

" Oh! you already met him." she said giving a disgusted look which indicated she hated him.

"Yea... why do you say that?" I asked her.

" Never mind. You will know soon enough." she replied." Well, welcome to Rihanta Apartments. Best of luck."

I wonder what is going on here?

" Umm....Thanks. So....would you like to do something?" I asked her, myself not quite knowing what the 'thing' was.

" Sure." she said brightening up a little. " Who..is that?" she suddenly asked pointing to Sia.

" That is my sister Sia." I explained to her.

" Ohh! sooo cuuttee." she said looking at her.

" You can say that, because you are lucky she is not your sister." I told her in a bit irritated tone.

" You are lucky enough to have a sister." she said looking back at me.

" So you don't have any sibling?" I asked her.

" I do. A brother." she replied dully.

I decided to change the topic. " So.. are there any other people of our age?" I asked her.

" Yes. She said brightening up a bit more. Come on, I will introduce them to you."

She swapped out her phone, texted a few people, and in a few seconds three girls came to the garden.

 " Hi....whats up?" one of them asked.

"And who is this.......?" another trailed off.

" This is Ariana. She is new here." Deepika introduced me to the three.

Then she turned to me and said " Ariana, this is Natasha, Maya and Mehika." pointing to each of the three girls respectively.

 " Oh! and that is Sia," Deepikka said pointing to my sister. " Ariana's sister."

" SIA!" I called out to the figure who was busy digging in the mud.

" YEA?" she asked back.

" COME HERE!" I ordered.

And so she did.

" Hi! I am Sia." she said not even feeling a bit shy considering the fact that she was talking to total strangers.

" Oh! Isn't she cute!" Maya exclaimed.

" I have two siblings of her age. Believe me, they are trouble." said Natasha.

" My sentiments exactly." I chuckled and we high-fived.

" So..you guys and Rohan's gang...that is all, right?" I asked them.

" No..there are...." Mehika was about to tell when Deepika cut her off.

" Let her see for herself. It will make things more clear to her." Deepika said.

" What things.....?" I trailed off.

" Oh God! here they are." Maya said looking back and wearing a disgusted look on her face.

I turned back and saw Rohan and his gang coming towards us.

" And he is headed right here." Natasha added.

"With his girlfriend." Mehika added.

" Things couldn't get worse this morning!" she said in a tune to the statements of other three.

Rohan came straight to us, tossing the football in his hand, his 'girlfriend', or so they say, by his side, and his brother and his gang walking behind.

The scene completely fitted that of a ruler, with the queen by his side, and his slaves or whatever, following behind.

My thoughts were cut off by his voice. " Hi!" he said.

" Hi!" I said to him and his 'girlfriend' together.

"And you are......" his 'girlfriend' trailed off.

" I am Ariana. New resident here. What about you?" I replied with a smile.

" She is my girlfriend, Shameeka." Rohan introduced.

"Nice to meet you." I said to her politely.

She rolled her eyes and flipped her long black hair behind her back.

"Oh! I didn't see you losers there. Hi anyways. Even though you don't deserve my 'Hi'." Shameeka said coolly.

Guess the girl had an attitude prob.

" Shut up Shameeka. Take your face and go somewhere else." Natasha snapped.

" Now, now girls, let us not fight." Rohan intervened.

" I will handle this Rohan." Shameeka said to him. Then she turned to Natasha.

" Oh! Look look. Who decided to talk. You should see your face in the mirror first. You look like a monkey. Even doormat looks better than you!" she again said in a cool voice.

 " Hey, shut it!" I snapped for I no longer could bear the insults.

 " Don't you talk in between girl. You are new here. Still I forgive you. Mind it if you mess with me. You shall become a looser if you stay with these losers. Stay with me and I shall make you famous. " she said to me in a more determined voice.

Then she turned to Rohan and said, "Lets go."

I saw them go towards the football field and then looked at Natasha and Deepika to get some answers.

" What is with that girl?" I asked them.

"She is popular in school, girlfriend of the captain of the football team, has got silky and beautiful hair and also a beautiful face and a body which is perfect in shape. Her parents are rich, she gets whatever she wants and overall all boys go gaga over her." Mehika replied.

" But she is a bitch." Maya added.

" Why don't you guys stand up against her?" I asked them getting pretty shocked.

" Be-cause there is absolutely nothing we can do." Natasha said.

" Well, I am not going to tolerate her at least. I don't give a damn about her. I will see to it she suffers if she messes with me." I said in a determined voice.

"Well then, welcome to the group." Deepika said and smiled.

I smiled back with the constant thought in my mind that what am I gonna do with Shameeka. If she messes with me or continues to mess with my friends, I shall see to it that she goes down. Just have to think of a plan.

Finally I brought Shameeka into the picture. Wanted to do that for a long time. After all, she is the one who is gonna cause all the problems and is gonna take this book further.
