I woke up fairly early today to get ready for the fest.

Its one time of the year where you get to establish your status, I was told my Shoaib. 

I pushed the covers aside and jumped into my balcony. 

My beautiful sundeck now also had a recliner increasing its show. 

I went behind the recliner to fetch the box which someone had given me yesterday. I knew who that someone is.

I opened to find a beautiful material carefully tucked inside. 

I placed the box on the recliner and took out the material. 

It was a strapped black crop top. Along with is was a big black shimmering velvet full length skirt studded with diamonds. Along with it were two drop silver earnings and black stilettos. It also had a thin-netted piece of cloth with a beautiful work on it. 

It was beautiful and elegant. I hadn't seen that kind of dress before. 

I quickly clicked a pic of it and sent it on our girls' group asking what was it.

It was 6 in the morning and I had one hour to go to collage. 

My phone pinged signalling I had a message. 

I checked to see various types of emojis on the screen with a lots of ' OMGeeeeee its beautiful! '.

I still hadn't got the answer to my question.

Maya being the sensible one replied, 

Its a lehenga. A traditional Indian dress. Where did you find it btw? 

Ari: I found it in my balcony.

Natasha: Yea right. The gods above are so happy with you that they left you with a lil present.

Ari: I am serious.

Dips: Who left it in your balcony? Any idea?

Should I tell them?

Ari:......

Mehika: Omg come on tell us!

Ari: I think its Sam.....

Dips: No ways!

Ari: I don't know yet. It has a chit with it saying, ' Save me a dance '.

Natasha: No ways. Its not Sam. Sam doesn't do stuff for girls.

Ari: I am just guessing.

Natasha: Well stop guessing its Sam.

Whoa! Thats new. 

Dips: Whats up Nuts? Why are u in a mood?

Natasha: Sorry for snapping like that Ari....its just I am nervous.

Ari: Its okay Nuts, everything will come together.

Maya: Guys you gotta go ready. We are leaving in bout 45 minutes.

Mehika: Wait....and you wearing the gowns we brought or what?

Maya: No....we have to wear a casual dress rn. Coz we have to do the preparations. 

Natasha: K, what time the fest starts again?

Maya: The opening is at 4 pm. 

Dips: You all got partners to the dance?

Ari: Yup! Mehek wbu? Has anyone asked you to the dance yet?

Mehika: Yupp. I am going with Rahul.

Natasha: Ooooo.

Ari: Rahul WhOoooo?

Natasha: -_-

Deepika: Rohan's brother Rahul. Duh.

Ari: Ooooooooo

Natasha: Yea Ari, ROHAN's brother Rahul.

Maya: Lol. Guys stop teasing her!

Ari: What about you May?

Maya: Yea....I just don't know who it is.

Dips: Yea, apparently lover boy has decided to surprise her.

Ari: Thats soo great * squeal *

Maya: I just hope it goes well. This is the first time I got anywhere near being social.

Dips: It will be fine babe.

Ariana: Wait....we aren't seniors guys....how in the world would we possibly help out?

Maya: Ayan and the guys might or might now have talked to the seniors about us....we need this reputation...

Dips: We still need to find who gave you that Ari...

Ari: I am sure its Sam.

Natasha: Like hell....Ari, sweet, he doesn't give girls stuff.....even if he does, he wants to get in your pants.

Dips: Shut up Nuts. I don't need to hear that. And FYI my brother may be a player, but he will not stoop that low. He know Ari is our friend.

Mehika: Yupp. Friends are off limits.

Maya: Guys! Go get ready! We also have to practice...

I kept my phone down and went to shower. 

At 6:50 am, Sam came to pick me up. He looked more handsome today. Not like his everyday ugly self. Hah! Who am I kidding? 

I don't know if he could get any hotter than this..

" Looking good Ari. " He complimented.

I had worn black skinny jeans with light green colored crop top and a black shrug.

" Thanks. You don't look so bad yourself. " I said smiling at him.

" Oh please. I always look this good. But for you, well its a new thing. " He said.

Does he always have to argue. 

" Can your ego get any bigger. I bet it covers your eyes while you look in the mirror. Coz you look as good as a pig. " I said snorting at him.

" Hey if you wanna call me babe, go ahead. " He said grinning smugly.

I struggled to come up with a better comeback, but then came up with just the classic ' Shut up. '

" Aww Ari, you want to see me shirtless? " He said smugly. I swear if his smirk got any bigger I am going to behead him.

" I said shut up, not shirt up. Ugghh. " I cried in frustration.

He was about to say something when I stopped him. " Shut it. " I glared.

He grinned and wiggled his eyebrows. " You Naughty. " He said.

I glared but couldn't keep my laugh inside of me for much longer, so I burst out laughing.

" I will pay you back. " I said whilst laughing. 

We had our breakfast and then were ready to leave.

" Bye honey, have fun. " My mom shouted from the kitchen.

" I will. " I said shouting back.

After me checking my image in the mirror in the lobby and Sam rolling his eyes in cue, we went down.

We reached college and it was buzzing with excitement and I fell giddy inside me. Time for some fun.

Everyone else had already reached the college and we met at the entrance.  

Jay smiled as soon as he saw and came running towards.

" Well. I'll go now. Lover boy alert. " He said with a slight smile of his face and then went to meet his other friends.

" Hey Ari. " He smiled wide.

" Hey Jay! " I beamed back.

We began putting up the decorations and arranging the events. The gym was set for today's dance, the guest list was done. 

We were actually not allowed to do much because we would also be participating. We were just here to help the seniors who were actually arranging the fest.

I got to meet a lot of cute, by which I mean hot, seniors. Seniors just have this kind of hot appeal to them. Not everyone was good-looking, but they had this kind of matured, sophisticated, manly appeal to their personality. And their talks Oh My God. They talk so....grown up stuff.

Sam actually introduced us to them.

" Hey guys, this is Ariana, " he said pointing to me, " Natasha, Maya and Mehika. " He said pointing to the others. " Oh and umm err " He said pointing to Jay, now looking confused.

" Jay. " Jay finished for him with a smile.

" Yeah Jay. And this is my sister Deepika and off limits. " Sam said glaring pointedly at a senior. A really really good looking senior.

" Ha-ha Deepika. You are off-limits for that guy. " Natasha whisper-snickered.

" I call dibs on him. " I whispered, going with Natasha.

" Wait. We will share him. " Natasha whispered to me.

" Okay. " I whispered back.

" Not fair guys! My brother can't dictate me. " Deepika said sounding frustrated.

" Oh yea? Then wink at him. " I whisper-dared her.

" Okay. " she said determined.

She winked nervously cause it looked like her eye was twitching. What made it all the more hilarious was that she had this smirk on her face. 

Natasha tried to control her laughter by biting her hand. Yea, we are getting to see hilarious sights today.

" Got something in your eye girl? " The really hot senior said to Dips.

That made her smirk turn into a frown and then into a embarrassed blush.

Me and Natasha couldn't hold it in anymore cause we burst out laughing while the others were just staring at us.

After sobering up, we cleared our throats and asked for their introductions.

" This is Lan, short for Landon, " Sam said pointing to a really fair blue-eyes person. He had pink lips and the sweetest smile ever! He also had dimples. 

" This is Ahaan. " He said pointing to yet another guy of milky complexion, grey eyes and one dimple.

" This is Yaksh. " He said pointing to a tanned guy with muscles. He had brown eyes and curly hair.

" And this is lee. " He said pointing to a pale guy with dark blue eyes. His skin was really smooth. It was like this clean transparent glass which someone just cleaned. I was worried if someone touched him their fingerprints would appear on his skin. That smooth and soft his skin looked.

He was the one Sam was pointing out earlier.

" Wow. " my involuntary drool-over-guys drive got activated.

" Princess, you got a little drool on your face. " Sam's annoying voice said.

" You are hot! " My drool-over-guys drive now was controlling my tongue as I shamelessly stated out the facts.

Lee just chuckled. How sophisticated.....

" A real secular group you got there. " Natasha laughed and said.

" Yea. You guys scream anti-racism. " I said agreeing.

" So Landon Landon, are you from London? "  Mehika asked giggling.

" As a matter of fact I am. " He replied in a British accent.

" Yea. He is my bro and she is my hoe. " Shoaib said putting an arm around him and pointing to Natasha at the hoe part.

We all looked at him dumbfound. 

" What? It rhymed. " He pouted. Seriously he took stupidity to a whole new level.

We all ignored him. Shameeka was flirting with Ahaan. And Laura was making small talk with Lee and blushing at his comments. Oh good. She finally decided to leave Sam alone.

Speaking of Sam, he wasn't there. I looked around but didn't find him.

Jay had joined their conversation while Ayan was putting up decorations, with Maya helping him.

Natasha and Shoaib were bickering about something. They seriously don't need anyone else to keep them from getting bored.

No sign of Deepika and Rohan too. Oh. Nevermind. They should get some privacy.

I jumped at the chance of seeing Sam alone, but he wasn't anywhere to be found. 

I rejoined the group to see what they were talking about.

The seniors were telling us about the fest and how they were planning their decorations, but I am damn sure the girls were just checking them out and focusing on their lips.

" You guys will make such good husbands. " Mehika absent-mindedly said.

Ahaan just chuckled. " Not Lee. I doubt he will ever get married. " He said looking at them and laughed.

We didn't get why so we didn't laugh but the guys burst out laughing. Even Lee was laughing agreeing to it.

I laughed along with them even though I didn't get the joke. But it came out as a nervous laughter.

Yaksh looked at me weirdly and just shook his head.

We resumed talking but they were making jokes which we didn't get hold of. 

Then I started telling a story which ended with,

"....and then he said fuck you. But then I eyed him up and down and retorted, ' not interested. ' The look on his face was epic. " saying I burst out laughing.

Mehika laughed along with me and Laura while Shameeka just scoffed.

" I remember. " Laura laughed along.

I expected the guys to laugh but they just looked at me like I came from some other planet.

We I looked at them expectantly, they just mumbled some 'wow' and 'totally killed it.' statements.

They were just not amused by this.

We soon exchanged out numbers, facebook names, insta account names and stuff.

Soon the guests arrived and then the college started filling up with students from other colleges.

The air soon was filled with excitement and cheers and everyone was socializing. 

I soon found Sam talking to some random girl and I felt like hitting her. I really don't want to get jealous but I can't help it. I like him....

She was pretty and she slipped in her number in his hand. Oh gawd! Get a room guys! Ugghh stop with all the flirting!! I can as well go and sing ' call me maybe ' for her. She doesn't need to rub his arm and stuff. Oh oh so she is giggling now? Hell he doesn't even tell good jokes! The hell she is giggling at? There might as well be a movie made on them. The bimbo and the traitor.

That lil....

" Hey backstabbing traitor. " I called out to Sam.

He turned back with an annoyed expression. " What? " He said in an bored tone.

" You...you..." I fumbled with words. " You bitch. You are sleeping with the enemy. " I said not knowing what to say. In my defense its the first thing that came to my mind.

They both looked at me with blank faces.

" I am not sleeping with him you cheap whore. " The bimbo said to me.

" I don't give a fuck bitch. " I snarled at her.

" Oh My God. This college had such cheap girls. Better come to my college Sam. " she winked.

He chuckled. " I'll try. " 

HE IS FLIRTING WITH HER! The fuck is wrong with him?? She just called me a whore!

" I am still here. " I said gaining their attention.

" You go, I'll come. " Sam said dismissing me.

His nerve!

" Call me. " she said smiling.

" Not needed to be asked twice. " Sam said smiling back.

I was getting tired of this so I went to look for someone else. More particularly Jay.

He was also talking to some random girl. 

I looked at him and he caught my sight.

He waved and said something to the girl and came running to me.

" Hey I have been searching you for some time. Where were you? " He asked frowning.

No where, just looking for the jerk. " Oh nowhere. Just strolling around. " I said smiling.

We walked to the canteen where the girls and the guys, except Sam, were sitting.

They seniors were also there, sadly with their girlfriends. How silly of me to think they were single!

Shameeka was on some other table, talking with some guys. She, was dressed a casual tank top and black shorts. The top said ' Queen Bee '. How typical.

But who am I to judge? I am just saying. I don't judge people.

Sam came to join us, bimboless may I add.

He smiled at us but I just glared. I shouldn't care right? But I did.

He didn't even defend me like a good friend would do.

Were we friends? I think we were. I don't know what he thought.

" Hey Ari. " He chirped. Is he bi polar or something?

I ignored him and continued talking to Jay about whatever was that we were talking.

" What crawled up her ass? " I heard him saying to Shoaib, to which he just shrugged.

Asshole. I'll show him what crawled up my ass. 

And then I did the most cliche thing I could ever do.

I dumped my soda on him.

" Oops? "

Anyways do u think this story is going too slow? I want it to be as realistic as possible. Come on we are not girls from the novels so we aren't going to get love so soon.
