Ariana's Diary

This is so boring! Of all the things I could do in this summer vacation, my wonderful parents chose this to apparently waste my day. Or maybe they just chose it because I should not stay home and invite my friends over and watch some of the coolest romantic movies with them. Mom says the stuff gets in our heads and that we aren't old enough to get serious about love. Who the hell cares?

We just talk about those movies. We are not really falling in love or something. Though once, yea, my two friends tried kissing by watching those movies. But both of them were girls so there is nothing to worry about. Or maybe that is the kind of thing she's worried about.

Anyways. So here I am. House hunting. I mean I really don't care where I live. They are obviously taking me away from my friends. And I am ultra sad about that. So instead of letting me enjoy my last few days with my friends or instead of leaving me alone in my days of darkness, they brought me HOUSE HUNTING! Mom said it will take my mind off the sadness a bit as I will get to choose my new house. Yea right mom. My new house. Where I am not allowed to keep my room the way I want, or where I have to get permission to watch T.V with my friends. That defines My house.

Uggghhh. This is getting more boring as each minute passes. Wait. Am I being a jerk? Because everyone else seems to enjoy house hunting. Yea, my big brother Dave(who is 20)is carefully listening to my father who is talking something about the rate of the house to the agent. And Sia, my small sister(who is just 4)is very excited about the buying the house. She doesn't know anything except English. This is because we used to stay in Boston before.

We came to India at granny's this summer and are staying at her place until we get a new house here. My father and brother will go back to Boston while I stay and complete my graduation here! My mom is Indian so she has this ' love my India ' thing going on. She brought me here to complete my graduation and post graduation.

So...yea. Mom has already talked me into "it will be great. You will get to see new friends" and all. Now Sia wants me to see the house with her!!
