It was just before my first match. We were all sat in the waiting room to get ready to line up. I was quite nervous for the match as it was my first match I was playing. I knew Leah couldn't make it as she had a match against Birmingham City today. I was tapping my foot on the floor. This is my first game for the Aston Villa women's. I did all the other teams before signing onto this team for my 19th birthday.

"All right girls it's go time." Our manager stated making us all stand up and run towards the pitch. I saw someone I didn't expect to see. I saw Jack Grealish in the stands. He cheered loud when he saw me on the pitch.

This was my first game and normally I would be on the bench but they wanted to see how good I was. I knew someone from the England team was in the stands. I don't know why they were there but I knew I had to be my best. The whistle went off which meant that the game had started.

45 Minutes later

It was half time and it was still 0-0 to Everton. Turner was on my tail a lot during the first half of the game. Jack was being supportive during the match. Which was good I could see him cheering every time we were close to the goal. We were given a quick speech about how well we have been playing before they sent us to the dressing room to have a cool down and water. Mayling has been super nice to me considering it was my first match.

15 Minutes later

We were running back onto the pith getting ready for the second half. I was super pumped for the second half. Mayling high fived me before getting into place. The whistle went off and the second half started. Within the first five minutes Mayling told me to go down towards the goal. I ran up to the box as Mayling passed me the ball and I somehow managed to get it in the goal. I ran up to Mayling as she spun me around cheering. I had scored. The stands went crazy. Me and Jack locked eyes as he cheered for me. I was so happy. The rest of the team celebrated with us.

At the end of the game

That goal I got managed to make us win. By the end it was 1-0 to us. I got the only and winning goal. Which was a dream come true. I went to do an interview on how the game went.

"So I'm here with Maddie Williamson and I'd like to ask you a few questions about your time so far playing football." The interviewer said.

"Okay that's fine." I stated.

"How long have you been playing?" She asked me.

"Well I've been playing my entire life but I was scouted at 14 so professional football I've been playing for about 5 years now." I answered.

"What teams were you on before this?" She asked me.

"Before I was scouted I was on my home team. Then I was on the under 19s team. I was supposed to be on the under 23s team but they wanted to boost me up. I was also playing for the under 19s England team. And a couple days ago I was signed onto the England team." I answered.

"Wow so you'll be playing for England?" She asked me.

"Yeah I'll be playing for Aston Villa and England." I answered.

"That must be so exciting for you." She stated.

"Yeah it really is. It's a dream come true." I answered.

"How do you feel about Leah playing on a different team to you?" She asked me I knew this would come up.

"We've always been competitive growing up. So to us this is like another one of our competitions. But who knows we could be playing for the same team. But who knows. I love Leah and I wish her the best. We will always support each other even if we are both on two different teams." I answered.

Jack came to greet me.

"Hi. I'd like to formally introduce myself I'm Jack." Jack stated making me laugh.

"And I'm Maddie." I stated as we both laughed.

"Well done today Maddie." Jack stated leading me outside.

"Thank you Jack." I stated.

"Do you need a lift?" He asked me.

"Please mom drove me down with Leah before going to her match." I answered. I didn't want to be waiting for someone to take me.

"Your carriage awaits." Jack joked as we got to his car making me laugh.

"Do you live with your parents?" Jack asked me.

"No I live with Leah. We both managed to save up enough money to get a house." I answered. I knew my salary was better then most people's. I never liked to brag how much money I get for playing for Aston Villa. We both live 30 minutes from our pitches. So we can still be together as well as us two playing for Arsenal and Aston Villa.

"Ok. Lead the way." Jack stated making me laugh. I lead him all the way to mine and Leah's house. I knew Leah wouldn't be back yet from the game.

"Thanks Jack." I stated as I got the keys out of my training bag. I take my training bag to every game I have it hasn't missed a single game.

"It's alright. It's the least I can do for your big win." Jack answered as I got the door open.

"Do you want a drink before leaving?" I asked him.

"If your offering." Jack answered making me laugh. Me and Leah had always been roommates and it would be fair if we continued. Even if we have games away. I let Jack in and lead him to the living room.

"Sorry that all our paperwork are all over the place. We don't get much visitors. Mostly our parents." I stated pointing to our paperwork on the table. We often did work together with our teams.

"It's alright you two are busy." Jack stated as he followed me into the kitchen.

"You can say I'm busy. I have training for both Villa and England. And I have games." I answered as Jack sat on one of the counters.

"Well you are a proper pro footballer now." Jack pointed out.

"What drink do you want?" I asked him as I got to the fridge.

"What do you have?" He asked me.

"Coke, Fanta, tea, coffee, milk, water." I answered.

"Coke please." Jack stated I got out a bottle of coke and handed it to him.

"Okay. So how's the bench?" I joked.

"It's alright." Jack answered laughing. There was a car pull up on the drive. I checked through the curtains.

"It's mom and Leah." I stated.

"I can go if you want." He stated.

"No it's fine. Mom only pops in for 5 before getting back to dad." I answered as Leah and mom walked through the door.

"We're here. Who's the second car on the drive?" Leah yelled.

"In the kitchen. And it's Jacks." I yelled back to her.

"Oh it's Jack." Leah stated as she walked into the kitchen.

"I was at her game and offered to drive her home as she didn't have her car." Jack stated.

"Ahh. Okay." Mom stated walking into the kitchen.

"Coffee mom?" I asked.

"Nope. Gotta get back to your dad." Mom answered.

"Okay bye mom." Me and Leah stated.

"How was the game?" Leah asked me.

"We won 1-0." I answered as I walked into the living room. I feel across one of the sofas.

"Wow. Well done." Leah stated.

"I scored the winning goal." I stated.

"Omg well done." Leah stated hugging me.

"It was amazing." Jack stated as he followed us into the living room.

"How was your game?" I asked her.

"We won on penalty's." She answered pushing my feet off the sofa as she plopped next to me.

"Sit down anywhere Jack." I stated.

"What we doing now?" Leah asked me.

"Fuck knows. I was gonna play Fifa till tomorrow cause I've got training for my next match against Everton." I answered as I got up to set my Xbox up.

"You can't spend all night playing it." Leah stated.

"I won't I'll probably play like 3 games and go to bed." I stated.

"You two definitely sisters." Jack stated. I chucked him a controller as I set the game up.

"Yeah me vs you winner plays Leah." I stated sitting next to Leah. We had four controllers often when the family plays.

"Okay you are on." Jack stated as I started the game. After the game ended it was 4-2 to me. Jack was slightly annoyed he had lost. He handed Leah the controller.

"Just know we are competitive." Leah told Jack making me laugh.

"Yeah we are." I stated starting a new game. By the end it was a draw 2-2.

"Right I gotta head home." Jack stated standing up.

"Okay that's fine." I stated standing up.

"Yeah this was fun. We gotta do it again." Leah stated.

"Yeah we have too." I stated.

"Hand me your phone and have contacts up." Jack stated as I handed him my phone.

"Okay just don't steal it." I joked.

"I won't. Okay my numbers in there. Text me and we will see when we can do this again." Jack stated.

"Yeah I will do." I stated leading him to the front door.

"Thanks again for this." Jack stated as he left.

"Maddie he was so flirting with you." Leah stated as we got into the kitchen.

"No he wasn't." I stated looking at her.

"He so was." Leah continued.

"We have nothing in common." I stated.

"You both play football and for Villa. That's a start." Leah stated.

"Oh okay Leah." I stated laughing.

"So what we cooking?" Leah asked looking in the freezer.

"I was thinking takeaway." I told her.

"We've had takeaway for the past 2 days now." Leah pointed out.

"Yeah that's fair." I stated looking over her shoulder.

"What can we cook?" Leah asked.

"How about pasta that's easy." I stated.

"Yeah that's true." Leah stated. We started cooking past. We both at it at the table. I was looking through my games I had been told. I went to bed getting ready for training bright and early.
