I raised my eyebrow. "Fun?"

She nodded, hesitantly.

A look of sorrow crossed my face. "Look, I've dreamed of meeting you since I was three. But I can't interfere. I might change the corse of history. I might mess yours and Johns wedding up! I..."

"Mine and Johns wedding!?"

I cover my mouth. "I've said too much."

Marcia smiles. "I marry the man of my dreams?"

I nod. "Every man I ever dated, either lied, cheat, steeled, and all of them crushed my heart. As if I need anymore heartbreak. It's not easy having abusive parents. And it's not easy trying to hide your demons."

"Well, everyone has demons."

"My demons haunt me. When I'm away from my mom and dad, they're still there. I can't escape them. I can't escape them in 1964, even though they aren't born." I say, touching my scar.

A single tear slides down my face.

"Honestly, Marcia, I'm a bomb. I'm like a bomb, just waiting to reach that breaking point, and just, blow everything in my path up."

"But aren't we all like that?"

"I guess. But we all blow up a different way. Now, let's stop talking about me and go enjoy the party. We'll just say I'm The Beatles treasurer."
