#Denial

There are five stages of grief. No. 1 being denial the one the three decided to explore.

Emerald and Chelsea turned around and saw Andrea standing there dressed in all ready to kill persona but one person was already killed and she was telling them to just ignore that fact. Them being the only witnesses of the murder should just stay quiet and pretend it never happened.

'Are you insane? How can we just forget about it?' Chelsea questioned Andrea.

Andrea supporting her early statement about just forgetting about the whole ordeal stated:

'The less we get involved, the better.'

'I may act all tough but even I feel bad about this idea.' Emerald said.

'See even she agrees with me.' Chelsea said putting emphasis on she as if its the key word.

'How can we neglect another human being?' She said.

'Just like everyone did, they all pretended she didn't exist but we know she actually doesn't exist anymore.' Andrea said it like its the most rational statement.

'Wha..? Who's they?' Emerald questioned obviously not understanding what Andrea was saying and neither did Chelsea knew.

'Youu both were all too busy in your own worlds that you didn't notice any one else. ' Andrea said.

'You don't mean to say?' Chelsea couldn't finish that sentence.

'What does she not mean? Wait...what does she actually mean?I'm getting confused who doesn't not mean what they mean?'
(a.n. I lost myself here too. What do I actually mean?)

'She went to this school.' Andrea sighed ticking on, like a time bomb set in motion. And Emerald just decided to push her buttons further.

'Who did?'

'The Dead Girl.' Andrea all but screamed.

Everyone in gymnasium quited down and looked towards the three girls.

After some silence, Emerald opened her mouth and that made Andrea wanting to twist Emerald into a ball and play dodgeball with her.
But what she said next was if Andrea dare to admit actually smart:

'oh right? It was a great movie. The best I have seen in so long.'

That made the crowd turn back around and some even compensated whether to actually watch the movie or not.

Chelsea was too shell shocked too say anything or comprehend what was going on around her.
That girl went to this school.
She walked the same hallways as us, maybe shared the same classes, or friends or they had actually conversed.
Some how by knowing there was some connection between them made something hit Chelsea maybe it was hurt, sorrow, sadness, pitty,....maybe anger....... why....was....she.....? she was shook out of her thoughts by an authoritative voice.

'well, well, well, we have some new contestants. Class why don't you show them how to play dodgeball since they seem to have forgotten and are conversing instead.' The coach said,' tsk tsk tsk.' like he actually pitied the treo.
          ...................................
Well he had been right to do so earlier. The girls after the terrible dodgeball tournament decided to go to their separate classes.

All had been the same idea whose seed were down by Andrea. Whether they should just forget about the entire ordeal? Or not?

What else can we do? The police got nothing about the girl. Chelsea thought. But who is she? Who are her parents? And why is paying no heed to her disappearance?

The classes seemed to fly by as she was stuck in that thought. She tossed and turned in bed. The scene of her death playing on repeat in her head.

She at last fell asleep after the last thought she had,

What if....?
