"This is a terrible, horrible, incredibly foolish idea. Let's do it and see what happens" Tife added hesitantly.

She couldn't believe her friends were coming up with this stupid Idea of visiting this island that has been deserfor years before they were born.

The Black Babies as they call themselves consisted of Tife, Mary, Kunbi, Micheal and Aisha. They are all Nigerians living in the states and they've bonded over the years to form a strong family bond.

"I'm not going anywhere sha, what if its infested with zombies?" Mary argued and Michael rolled his eyes in frustration. He had been the anchor of the idea and now they were close to exploring the island so he could prove to the white kids in school that they were stronger and wiser.

"Mary stop behaving like a coward now and let's go there now. Its just for one night oh. I didn't say we should spend a whole year there now"

"You should have kukuma told us to spend the rest of our lives there now so that it will make perfect sense. Me, Mary Oluwafikayomi Dalemo isn't going to one stupid island that zombies will now eat my brain"

"as If you have brain sef. Don't worry, you're safe Zombies only eat brains" Micheal taunted.

"All of you are seeing this bag of rice now. He said I'm brainless. Its not kuku your fault, its Aisha that made me start talking to you. If to say everybody dey in lane, you no fit call me sef for school because me and you no dey the same level" Mary Scoffed.

At this point, Aisha knew she had to stop this two from bickering. "Its okay oh. If I say two of you fit each other now, you will be shouting ni. Mtchew. Are we going or not so I can prepare?"

"We are going before Michael come.and cry on my head at night. I don't even know whether its by force to join the soccer team ni. Because I'm sure you want us to go so you can impress Morgan and his gang" Mary scoffed.

Michael ran a hand through his hair, Mary knows how to rile him up very fast. He was grateful they were going on this boat trip. He had always dream to be on the soccer team and this was his only opportunity.

"Let's meet at our meeting point after Light out and from there we move. You know the rules, don't allow anyone see you. Bye babies" Michael took turn in hugging everyone and they went back to their various dorms.

It was almost 10:30 pm and the boat driver was no where in sight. They were starting to get worried and disapointed. They promised to wait for another thirty minutes before going back to the dorm

They heard whistling from a far distance and they knew he had arrived. He didnt disapoint them. They carried their backpacks and they waited for him to get nearer.

They hopped in the boat and he moved skillfully towards the forbidden island. Adrenaline pumped in their veins and they were excited to explore the forbidden island.

The driver dropped them and he turned back towards the city, he would be back by 5am to pick them up. That was when the dorms usually open. That way no one would suspect anything.

The place was eerily quiet and Mary was starting to freak out. She held Michael tight and Michael put on his torchlight while they walked deeper into the island. They walked close to each other and something fell on Mary, she let out an ear piercing scream and they ran in different directions.

They came back together and they going out it was a dead leaf that fell from tree and they laughed at each other.

"Mary, its only mouth you have. Ordinary Leaf, you ran away. And you will be forming Bruce Lee for me" Michael joked.

"Pleeks did you not run too? Lazy boy. Ordinary scream that I scream, you have run as If your life depends on it. Yen yen yen" Mary replied him.

"can you two just shut up? We don't even know where we are or how we are going to survive the night, or you do is bicker" Kunbi groaned.

Decorum was restored and they held each other's hand. They moved together with their footsteps rhyming.

They found a nice spot to set up their tent and after arguing for a while, they ended up setting up a tent for them to sleep in.

While others are sleeping, Michael went out of the tent and he carved the crew's name on a tree with their initials too.

He took a walk around and he took several pictures for the Soccer team verification.

When mosquito didn't let him stay, he went back to the tent to sleep.

Four Hours Later

Drops of water were thrown on his face and he opened his eyes to see his friends looking at him.

"The idiot sleeps like a pig, better stand up and let's get out of here before we are suspended in school because I can't even imagine what I will tell Iya Mary that I was doing in this island" Mary murmured

He stood up and they packed their backpacks. Michael took a shot of the island on his phone and he called the boat driver.

The boat driver arrived at 5:02 am and he took them back to school. Everyone found their way back to their dorm to.get some sleep before class.

They were at their usual table at the cafeteria and they were talking arguing about celebrities when Morgan and his friends showed up at their table.

"Welcome to the team mike, you passed the initiation test. You and your friends can come to sit at our table, you're always welcome" Morgan winked at Kunbi and he walked away with his boys trailing behind him.

Micheal pumped his fist in the air in excitement and Kunbi was looking at Morgan's retreating figure.

"Shey na so the crush tey hold you" Mary teased Kunbi and they all laughed.

"Micheal, you owe us one tho"Aisha added and Michael groaned.
