Today was Monday, and in Ceramics class, Leo asked me if I'd actually help him. He'd remembered my promise from the party, which was something I appreciated.

Our task this week was to make a luminary, which is something you put a candle in, and the designs in it are cut through the vessel, so when the light shines through, you get a design.

Anyways, he needed help shaping it. Unlike me, he was a hand-builder. He had to make things off the wheel, making it a bit more difficult for smooth vessels.

I helped him roll out the clay and cut it up so he could form it. Once we finished that, I left him alone to cut the pieces out.

The rest of the day was uneventful, as always.

However, when I got home, I had a surprise waiting for me. Calvin was here.

When I saw him, I was so happy. He was here, just to see me. I ran and hugged him, burying my face into his chest. I quickly pulled it out though. "Since when do you have pecks?" I questioned.

Calvin laughed. "For a little while now. No longer is the nerdy persona, Sara. Now, I am the golden-boy."

"I actually liked your nerdy look."

"That makes one of us."

We laughed. I love my cousin. He is my favorite person in the world. Calvin knows people. He can read them easily, which helps with my depression. He always knows what to say to make me feel better. Or, when I am being way to self-centered, he knows just what to say to get me out of it.

I love him.

And nothing can ever change that.
