I gulped. Was this why we were the names written on the sheet of paper? Because Sara seemed to be obsessed with us?
No, not obsessed.
Curious.
What if she knew our secrets?
What if she knew mine?
Both of them?
Nausea hit me like a truck. I was so nervous. I was trying to keep them on the downlow. One wouldn't be forever, but maybe the other one could be.
Calvin looked at me. "You okay?"
I nodded, swallowing the bit of bile that was coming up my throat. I glanced at Leo. He was pale as he clutched onto the hem of his shirt. Damon was staring at him. Passion was holding a hand to her chest and Jeromy was red in the face as he looked at the ground. Amy looked fine. She was, however, looking at me in a very concerned way.
"You know, Sophie," she whispered, leaning towards me, "if you can't do this, just tell me."
She was one of the ones who knew the secret I couldn't let get out. She knew just how much it affected me.
I shook my head. "I'm okay."
Amy gave me a disbeliving look, but didn't fight me. Calvin eyed us all, his eyes sklightly moist.
"I think that's enough for today." He said, his voice slightly choked.
Passion nodded. "Yeah, I definetly agree with that."
Leo nodded solemnly, his gaze never leaving his lap. Damon muttered a reply, nodding his head in agreement. Jeromy nodded as well, his eyes flicking to Amy. Amy nodded, her gaze never leaving him. When all eyes were on me, I couldn't hold it in anymore.
I stood up and ran outside, empting the contents of my stomach into the yard.
I felt someone grab my hair, but I couldn't look to see who it was. I felt it being moved around slightly, and I glanced up to see Calvin holding it. He gave me a weak smile before I continued to empty everything.
Amy looked at me, concern all over her face. "You okay, Sophie?"
"No,"
Leo looked at me. "What happened."
"Leave it, Jameson." I heard someone growl. I looked over to see Jeromy staring at hime with his jaw clenched.
Leo rolled his eyes. "What ever, Fisher."
Damon sighed. "Let's not fight. One of us is puking her guts out, while the other flirted with a girl who killed herself. Can you explain yourself, Leo?"
Leo said nothing, though his face heated up. "Me and Sara were never an item, Damon. No need to be jealous." He spat.
Damon scowled at him, and tried to go to shove him, but Jeromy got in the middle of them. "What'd you say about fighting, Damon?"
Damon gave Jeromy a death glare before shoving stepping back. He spat on the ground before turning on his heels and stalking off to his car. Leo wiped his nose. It was then that I realized he was crying.
Jeromy looked at Leo and whispered something to him. Leo shook his head and muttered a reply before walking off to his car.
I slowly stood up straight. I looked to Calvin. "I'm so sorry-"
Calvin shushed me gently as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "It's okay, Sophie. No damage, none at all. You are all good, Soph."
My face flushed. I looked down. After a few moments of silence I heard footsteps and saw Jeromy walking off to his car. Calvin smiled at me before gently patting my arm. "I'll text you guys later about the next meeting.
Amy nodded, and Calvin walked back into the house. Amy turned to me. "You okay?"
I nodded. "I should head home."
Amy sighed, shaking her head. "Let me drive you."
"It's not that long of a walk."
"Sophie, it's a thirty minute walk. It'll be dark when you get home."
I sighed. "Fine, but-"
"I know, I know."
Amy gently squeezed my arm before leading me to her car. SHe helped me into the passenger's seat and then got into the driver's side. We then drove off.

I sat in my room, my mind racing.
They were filling my head, these old memories, clawing at my walls, trying to break into the frontal part. I couldn't let them. They couldn't win.
I bit my lip before grabbing my phone. I quickly unlocked it and went to his thread.
Sophie: I need your help.
Him: How bad is it?
Sophie: Really bad.
Him: Come over. No one's home.
I quickly grabbed my sweatshirt and ran out of the apartment. My family didn't notice. They never did.
It was cold as I walked down the street. However, that didn't take away from the memories.
Only he did.
When I got to the door, I pounded on it, my eyes already misting.
The door opened, and he stood there. I immediately moved forward, cupping his face in my hands. I pulled him down until his lips met mine. I kissed him with so much need, and he responded with an equal amount.
His hands found my waist and he pulled me inside. I felt myself be turned around. He pulled away just to shut the front door and lock it. As soon as he did that, silence filled the home.
All I could hear was our heavy breaths as we panted in the darkness. He turned around and dove onto my lips like a hungry predator. I allowed him to push his tongue into my mouth. He coaxed it over mine, and I felt myself release a breathy moan.
He pulled away all too soon. I looked up at him. He gently grabbed my hand before leading me into the living room. He sat me on the couch. "Come on, talk to me." He whispered, his eyes swimming with so much emotions.
I bit my lip, looking down at my hands. "I just- you know why. Why should I have to explain myself to you?"
He sighed, rubbing his hand on my arm. I felt his touch starting to gravitate towards my chest. I gasped slightly as I felt his touch brush over my breasts.
"I want to be able to know you can talk, Sophie. All we ever do is...this. More, mostly. Why can't you ever just talk to me?"
"What, do you want to stop then?" Fear settled over my bones. I was terrified. I couldn't stop doing this. It was the only thing that got the memories out of my head.
His eyes widened. "Of course not. I- it's not the most healthy arrangement, but- but it works." He whispered. His eyes found mine, and he held my gaze. "I just want you to be able to express yourself, Spohie. You aren't acting like that girl I knew way back in Elementary school."
I sighed and gently grabbed his hand. "Can I please try on another night? I don't think I can find any words today."
He sighed. I thought he was going to say no, but then I felt his lips press against mine once more. I sighed happily as he kissed me slowly.
Yes, this was definetly working.
The memories weren't plaguing my mind.
The only problem?
I didn't just want to be with him for that anymore.
I was falling for him.
****
Oh yes, this just happened.
Hey guys! Been a while, eh?
Anyways, this Sunday I finally got the Playlist up (yay!). If you want to check that out, you can either go to that page, or you can got to my spotify and save it for yourself! It's gamergamedays, and all you have to do is search my name in the search section and go to my profile! I have all the other playlists for my books available, as well as some that aren't published yet!
Anyways, what'd you think of this chapter?
I'm pretty sure one of her secrets is obvious now, no? ;)
Also, what do you think everyone else is hiding? 'Cause they all have one little dirty secret or two hanging around.
In other news, Her Words got into the top 1000 for Mystery/Thriller!
It got to #968!
This was literally me when I saw:
I know, not a huge number, but I didn't expect it to reach it already! I mean, it doesn't even have that many views! Not even at 200!
I've offically had four books in the top 1000, which I find a huge accomplishment.
And, isn't Dean just the best? I love both Jensen and Jared, and all the cast members. I wish I was on that cast.
Aside from the amazing thing that is Supernatural, I have posted three chapters as a thank you! I hope you guys enjoy them, even if they are on the short side. I don't have the book completely planned out as of now, but I have enough fo it planned out to get from point A to B. Also, the chapters are shorter because I want there to be more of them, and they are all mostly diary entries. I mean, how much would you write in a diary? All normal chapter have to cap at least 1000 words, otherwise I won't post it.
So, all that aside, I'll see you in the next update!
Adios!
-Paige
