Sabine's POV

  I woke up and felt my neck sore. It was weird. Two weeks ago it was sore too, and two weeks before that and two weeks before that! It was weird. The marks on my neck showed no sign of leaving and I was getting suspicious about what it was. I knocked on the refresher door.

"Give me a minute." I heard Ezra call.

"Okay." I told him. When he walked out I noticed blood in the corner of his mouth. I walked in and brushed through my hair. I slipped on my armor, but noticed a little blood in the sink. I found a small syringe and sucked the little bit of blood up. I set it in my dresser drawer.

     Time skip

  We were getting ready for a mission and I noticed Ezra putting on sunscreen. It was weird because it wasn't hot enough to get a sun burn.

Time skip two weeks later

  I was getting ready for bed because I was exhausted. I wanted to find out what was biting me but, I was so tired right now. I felt a slight pain in my neck like something was pushing into my skin. I let out a soft groan. I felt what ever it was leave my neck. I opened my eyes slightly and saw what looked like, EZRA! I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Then looked again. But, Ezra was gone. I touched the bite, but my fingers came back with little to no blood.

"The wound I almost clean." I muttered.

       The next day

  I walked to the cot-pit in search for Hera. I found her walking around in the cargo hold.

"Hera, can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Of course!" She said and lead me to her room. "What do you need?" She asked.

"Umm... I have this bite thing on my neck and I figured you could identify it." I told her.

"Sure, let me have a look." Hera said. I rolled down the neck of my jumpsuit to let he have a look at the bite. She observed it for a few minutes and stayed silent.

"So..." I said trailing off.

"It looks pretty deep, it's not like any bite I have seen before." She explained.

"Okay, thanks for the help anyway." I said gratefully. I saw Ezra walking my way so I turned to him.

"Hey Sabine." He greeted.

"Hi Ezra." I said.

"What were you doing in Hera's room? Is everything okay?" He asked with worry.

"Umm... I just have this bite or something on my neck." I said.

"It might be some kind of Lothal tick." Ezra said.

"Possibly." I said. I noticed his eyes change a little.

"I should go. Bye!" He said nervously. But while he was talking I noticed two fang like teeth. I went to my room and grabbed my data-pad and searched up vampires. I found a link that went to an article.

     Doctor Matthew was a scientist that was fascinated by anything immortal such as werewolves, ghost, shape shifters and most of all vampires. He explained them as living forms of the dark side, Matthew dedicated his whole life to finding immortals. One day twelve years ago he finally found proof! A young boy with fangs and overly sensitive skin that burned in the sun light. Before he could show the five year old to the public he got away. Two years later he captured the same boy, he had electric blue eyes with thin pupils and the same thirst for blood. But, once again he got away. The public accused him of being insane and shut down him operation. There is a rumor that you can still find him continuing his research at 2846.

  I made a choice I needed to talk to this doctor Matthew. I look at pictures of the vampire bites and they matched the one on my neck.
Well here I come doctor...
