Chapter 15
"No, we don't have anyone here by the name, Ellestial Stars, that we know of at this moment. Sorry, dear." The older lady stated, eyeing Jay worryingly.
"A-are.. Are you sure..?!" He stuttered, his mind making him go insane. His heart pounding, and his feet constantly moving.
The lady frowned, her eyes narrowing. "Like I said. There are NO patients by the name of Ellestial Stars at this hospital! Now I have other businesses to take care of, I'll be taking my leave." She pushed herself up, and out of her seated position, walking out from behind the desk and to a occupied room.
Jay somewhat felt discouraged, but also relieved. Hoping that the blood wasn't Ellestials, and that she was on her way home, but something just didn't seem right.. Jay looked back, his eyes meeting with Jeans.
"Let's head back then.." he spoke in a hushed tone, his voice only louder than a whisper.
Jean nodded, grabbing Jay by his shoulder and proceeding towards the door. Jay let out a muffled cry as the back of his mind pinched, as though trying to pull him back into the hospital.
It was then, that they were nearly ran over by two ladies carrying another. They're cries loud enough to be heard throughout the whole building.
"SOMEBODY! H-HELP PLEASE! SHE'S BEEN HIT! I'M NOT SURE HOW LONG SHE WILL LAST!" The older looking lady cried, her jacket covered in someone's blood.
Jay shivered, turning to continue out the door before he was pulled back. He spun around, trying to catch who had grabbed him. His eyes met with the blonde girl that was helping to carry the injured person in.
"Huh?" His response was faint, but before he could say anything else his eyes locked onto a very familiar looking strand of orange hair, his jaw dropping, and his eyes swelling up.
"She was mumbling about someone named, Jay.. While she was in the back of our vehicle.. I heard that name and thought..-"
"ELLESTIAL! PLEASE, GOD NO!" He bolted forward, his hands instantaneously grabbing onto her frozen cheeks. Her eyes were shut, her nose a slightish blue, and her hair frozen stiff.
He was forced back by some surgeons, his weight nothing against them as he tried to push passed them, "ELLESTIAL!" He cried, his tears pouring down.
"Son! You need to stand back and let the doctors try to help her! I don't know your relationship with this girl, but if you don't calm down, it might kill her..!" The surgeons announced, their eyes just as wide and worried as his.
His body felt weak, and he slumped down to the floor. He slammed his fists into the cold hospital floor, "FUCK YOU ALL! FUCK YOU GOD! FUCK EVERYTHING! WHY WOULDN'T YOU PROTECT HER! WHY?!" He swore, his father quickly having enough before grabbing him and slapping a rough hand over his mouth.
"That's enough!" He hissed, pulling him back to the waiting area. "Quit this shitty nonsense and let the doctors save her." Jean practically threw him into a chair, holding him down before he could make a move. "Calm. Down. Jay." He pronounced each word with force, holding him down.
They were both quickly greeted by a younger woman, her hair neatly tied back. She spoke in a calm and mature voice, her eyes shining behind her glasses. She led the both of them to a private room, before drugging Jay to help him calm down. Jean thanked her before slumping back in the nice leather chair in the corner, watching as Jay quickly fell unconscious.

When Jay awoke, he swore he could hear faint talking coming from behind a closed door. His room was silent, and it seemed as though either his father left, or was sleeping, he was unable to tell for his eyes felt like they were sewn shut. He continued listening as the conversation slowed, one person excusing themselves and opening the door. The quick words, "I'll tell him." were still loud enough for him to pick up when the individual entered the room.
"Jay..? Are you awake..?" The voice murmured. Jays head nodding in a silent response.
"Ellestial is out of the E.R." Jays eyes snapped open, whatever was holding them closed before was gone at those words. He practically lurched out of the bed, and probably would've been out the door if it wasn't for the I.V.
His fingers slipped down to the needle that was shoved into his arm, he took his time to remove it so it didn't cause any further problems before looking up at the person standing by the door, which to his surprise, was his mother. She smiled slightly, but it looked somewhat forced.

Jay was guided to the room Ellestial was currently occupying, his eyes bulged, and he felt his stomach tightening, and his throat closing up. The state that Ellestial was in was hard to process. Her face was bandaged, and she was hooked up to a large machine, pumping oxygen into her lungs through her slightly parted lips. He couldn't help letting the tears stain his pale cheeks for the forth time this day.
He was greeted by the forced smiles of his sister, mother, and father. Followed by the doctors checking everything and preparing to explain everything to the family. Their eyes met and he felt a pinch in his heart, he knew something was god awfully wrong, but he couldn't think of what exactly. He pushed dark thoughts out of his head, his gaze falling back onto Ellestials paralyzed body. Her hair clumped together with blood, and dampness.
He took hesitant steps towards the bed, everyone else seemed to just blur into the wallpaper to a point where he could only see her, and himself. His hand gently stroked her cheek. Her color drained, leaving her in a frozen, white state. He was only brought back to reality when he heard a few, simple words he'd never forget.
"She won't last till tomorrow.."
