Demi's P.O.V

When we reached town I climbed the tree, picked up my toy, music box and sword and then jumped out of the tree. I held my hands out not even protesting to getting my hands chained. Fraiser shoved me forwards, I stumbled but not a lot. Fraiser held the chain and dragged me across the centre of town towards the prison and pushed towards the stairs. I abruptly turned around and glared daggers at the lord, he faced me with so much disgust evident on his face he wouldn't care if he hurt me. And I was right he slapped me and then yelled 'TURN AROUND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO FACE ME YOU CRIMINAL!" I was not fazed but I did feel like pushing his buttons so I flipped him the bird and tilted my head with a smile. This made him furious. haha he looks like a tomato when he is angry, I knew how to make him angrier though so I did what I had to do. "hehe *boops his nose* Boop!" I exclaimed happily. He was now steaming from his ears he was so angry. Before I knew it he opened the door turned me around and shoved me down the stairs as I lowered down into the cell area.

I tripped near the bottom of the stairs and banged my head against the cell bars as I held my head a felt a tight grip on my hair and then a arm yanking my head back so I was facing Fraiser "YOU WILL RESPECT ME I AM IN CONTROL OF YOUR FATE SO YOU WILL TREAT ME WITH RESPECT!" he spat in my face before shoving me in a cell making me hit my head on the floor. I stayed there till I no longer could here him stamping and then a giant bang sounded as he slammed the door. I lifted myself off the ground and dusted my clothes off then saw there was some blood on my shorts, I reached up and touched where my head hurt and as I was bringing my hand down I noticed blood on it. 

Thinking fast I ripped some clothe off my shirt and applied pressure to the wound. after the blood stopped running I took my hands down a glanced around the room there was 2 guards who had watched that scene and another prisoner or two who were watching me in a sympathetic way one a male in his early adult hood and a child around the age of 6. WHAT THE HELL there was a CHILD! I walked over to the prisoner who was closer to me the little child, they flinched back in fear of something happening but I was to quick and hugged the small child before they could get out of my reach. 

They tensed but then started balling their eyes out clinging onto my jacket as if I would disappear, my motherly instincts took in and I started rubbing the child's back in a comforting way as I held my arm over it protectively, it broke my heart seeing a child like this. I looked up from the child and glanced around the male prisoner was smirking as he looked at the shocked and confused faces of the guards it found it amusing too though. I looked back at the child who has reduced it's crying down to a sniffle I smiled kindly and my face softened "hey, what's your name" I spoke so softly it wasn't even audible to anyone except me and the child. "um my.. my name... my name is- I don't know" she spoke in her young age it sounded almost like gibberish but it was understandable but she started tearing up again like it was bad to say anything and started to shake, I wrapped my arms around her and wiped a tear away from her face "hey how about I give you a name? *she nods franticly* hmmmm what should I name a sweet little pea like you?? how about Toad?* she shakes her head* no? how about Potato?* giggles a little bit but still shakes her head* I know how about Lily?!*nods happily* Yes you are my little pea my little lily pad!!" I say happily making our conversation audible.

I reached my arms through the cell bars and picked her up from the ground hugging her tightly this is what it must have felt like when Pilana found me god if only I wasn't locked up in a cell. I place her down softly and smile at her a big genuine smile she smiles back.  "I thought you were supposed to be a monster a killer a bandit? So why are you making friends with a small defenceless child? Maybe to KILL IT? Then eat it like cannibal you are?" cockily questioned one of the guards. How could anyone think of eating anyone? I turned and scowled in his direction holding my little pea closer, the guard jumped at my 'hostility' and then the other guard spoke "So tree girl want to explain why your here?"

"I don't know do I?" I snapped "maybe if I open my mouth I would be considered to eat a human" I was angry at the other guard for even suggesting such a thing. "HA! you just got told off by the newbie" exclaimed the male prisoner, then he looked at me with a big toothy smile "So Tree girl why have you done to be called tree girl?" asked the chuckling male as he was humoured by my nick name. I ignored his question as it had no meaning to me and went to my item stash, I picked out my stuffed albino phoenix toy and walked back to the little girl handing it to her "This is now yours! I had it as a child and now you can have it for your childhood!" I explained as the little girl hugged me through the bars and clutched to the toy as if it would walk away.

"So want to tell us how a monster like you can have any motherly qualities?" questioned the annoying ass guard he was pissing me off! I stalked over to him and smiled sweetly "Want to tell me why there is an innocent child in here before I skin you and rip your heart out? I have come to experience it can be quite an excruciatingly painful death!" I finished till smiling and let out a happy giggle. "WHAT THE FUCK! I knew you were a monster how many people have done it to HUH! You disgust m-".SLAP. I slapped him with all of my arm strength, which is pretty hard since it was already bruising. "there is a child in this room do NOT swear and I don't care what you think of me but I will not let you scare the one innocent thing in this room or so help me I will do exactly what I just said I would do pinkie promises" I say in a cold emotionless tone that scared the guard shitless. 

Then there was an outburst of laughter. I turned around to see who was laughing it was the male prisoner he was laughing on the floor and started crying from how hard he was laughing. "Oh shut it Mathew! You have been gone for months, people thought you bailed and escaped." His laughter was dying down now "Oh. yeah. that. Well funny story I got kidnapped and blackmailed so now I'm here." He explained like there was nothing wrong with it. "UGH! My brain hurts I'm going to bed and don't even think of taking my shit or I will rip you to shreds!" I state as I huff in frustration and roll up in the thin itchy and scratchy blanket put on the beds in the cell.
