The small child walked past trees lost in this dark forest it was scary and dead silent. SNAP. The sound echoed it was loud in the deafening silence and then the girl was shoved up against a tree, her week and small adolescent body unable to fight back. She opened her eyes to see who it was but the first second she opened them she was slammed back against the tree, it hurt and she was silently crying. A hand came down and slapped her face the hit stung and she yelped as she reached up and touched it she opened her eyes as the face of her attacker spoke into her ear "I will always find you, so don't try to escape".

Demi's POV

I shot up from a cold sweat, oh god no! I can't show weakness! I can't show I am vulnerable! I start hyperventilating, my body starts shaking and my head gets dizzy and light. NO! STOP! but I know its too late I'm having a panic attack and people will know I'm weak. My crying is silent as the light starts to poor through some barred windows. Mathew starts to stir and sits up instantly he looks at me with worry evident in his eyes. He has this power where he can sense the magical, mental and emotional aura of people, he must have sensed my aura because he was trying to get out so he could help.

I raise my shaky hand and grab the sword I stole and pushed it through lily's cell and hoped it was within arm length of Mathew's cell. It made a scraping noise which must have woken Lily as she groggily opened her eyes, yawned, and blinked before there was a loud clank noise and then foot steps. I couldn't help my self I was still shaking but worse then before my sobs were somewhat audible now and Lilly tried to reach me but she was still in her cell, then there was another loud clank and footsteps coming closer to me I didn't know what was happening because I was curled in a ball. I was lifted up so I was sitting with my knees curled in and my body was still shaking, a hand was rubbing my back in a comforting way. I heard a soft whispering it was only just audible and then my heart broke when I heard sad little sobs, I looked up and saw Mathew helping me calm down and my little pea trying to reach me from her cell. I started shaking worse my little pea was sad and it was because of me.

Then there was a loud bang, scaring me and making my panic attack worse, making Lily cry harder, And Mathew jump but he continues to comfort me. Then there was loud shouting "WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE!?" Demanded the voice, I winced at the tone of their voice I could feel their glare as they stomped toward Mathew and I "Why aren't you in your cell?" said an angered voice but not as loud as before. Mathew whispered one last thing before standing up "don't worry I will protect you this time" I shook my head vigorously in protest but it just looked like it was part of my panic attack.

I heard yelling but I was distracted by Lily's crying it sounded close as the yelling was muffled and sounded far away. I crawled over towards Lily, once I reached her she clung to me like her life depended on it, I started to comfort her which calmed my panic attack making everything in the room sound normal and loud as the two men fought. I Looked at lily and said " Don't worry about me go take your toy and stay under your covers okay?" This was more of an order than a question so she followed what I said and hid. I turned around my panic attack still in affect but I didn't care I walked over to Mathew I put a shaky hand on his back as to say stop. I then went to face the person or now I should say people because there was Fraiser standing in front of Mathew looking angry as hell, then behind him the sleepy guard and annoying guard from yesterday.

I then felt a sudden pain go through me as my body slammed against the wall, my hyperventilation playing up again and my hands shaking fiercely. OH GREAT! IT'S BACK! I shake more from the hands that were placed firmly around my shoulders slamming me against the wall. AGAIN. "IT IS NOT ALRIGHT TO FAKE A PANIC ATTACK!!". I give off a sad airy chuckle that is soon over taken by my sobs as my body gets weak and is still shaking. 

Mathew shoves Fraiser away from his grip on me and pins him to the floor but before I could come into contact with the oh so comfortable floor Sleepy guard catches and places me on the floor. I slide my legs out in front of me and rest my back on the wall, my body still tired and shaky but I afford to small and weak smile and whisper something barely audible "T-Thanks.. S-Sl-sleepy G-uard." He gives me a genuine smile then I turn my head back to Lily who is still scared. Annoying guard does the unexpected and unlocks Lily's Cell door and lets her out, she instantly sees him and bolts over to me, I don't even have enough time to look over to her before i'm engulfed in hug. 

I slowly breath in and out heavy breathes and my body starts to stop shaking making me feel numb. A glance over to Mathew who is still holding Fraiser down and sitting on his legs and arms preventing in any escape, I make an amused breathe as Mathew turns around and gives me a Toothy grin and then pushes on Fraiser back to the ground and questions "What the HELL WRONG WITH YOU?! Isn't keeping her here enough!? WHY WOULD YOU THINK SOMEONE WOULD FAKE A PANIC ATTACK?!" Lily flinched at the tone of his voice and hugged my tighter, I continued to stroke her head but then realised I had to stop this.

I be grudgingly stood up and quietly made my way over to Mathew the guards took a step forwards to stop Mathew and I from harming Fraiser but I put my hands up to stop them from moving then held a finger over my mouth as to tell them to be quiet, the stopped and waited. I tip toed over to behind Mathew screamed in his ear and me being the idiot I am scared myself, screamed a little and slapped Mathew up the side of the head, then I felt sorry so I picked him up and carried him over to the wall where Lily was sleeping after being tired from sleeping. 

I sat down, put Mathew on my lap and then rested Lily's head on my leg. Fraiser was starting to stand up and the guards were laughing their heads off, I smiled in victory and stroked my childs heads who are now Mathew who has curled in a ball and sleeping in my lap and Lily spread out on the ground but still had her head on my leg. Sleepy guard looked at us and started laughing harder, Annoying guard chuckled a bit and Fraiser looked beyond confused and angry.

"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?!" yelled Fraiser "and why are you all of a sudden doing things after I have kept you here for 3 months!" exclaimed Fraiser as he emphasised the word 3. "SHHHHH the childs are sleeping!" I shushed Fraiser as he spoke toward the sleeping Mathew. "If you weren't dumb or blind you would be able to see he hasn't slept for a long time and I am surprised he hasn't reached the end of his sanity! For crying out loud what made him so scared of sleeping?!" I accused them, but the dumbfounded looks on their faces as if this was a new thought to cross their minds! "I'm new don't blame me" defended sleepy guard. "I haven't taken part of anything traumatising" explained annoying guard. "Well he hasn't been fed since he got here, It hadn't crossed my mind to feed a criminal and maybe it was demonstrating ways we could kill him if he did try to fight back" answered Fraiser. I glared at him then realised I had to be an adult.

I woke Lily up and then woke Mathew up, I stood up and started getting my items "Come on, we are getting food" I said and continued up the stairs with more then 2 pairs of feet following me as I headed towards Forest. I walked till I reached my bow and arrows and found my sword holster that had an intricately designed Silver and Gold blade inside. I put the holster on and slung the bow over my shoulder and put the quiver of arrows in their holder, after gearing up I turned around to see 2 surprised guards, 1 angry Fraiser and 2 amused people Mathew and Lily. I looked at Lily and realised she was laughing at an andy who was making funny faces as a bird at her. 

Hehehe I aimed my bow and shot right next to him, he looked shaken but also annoyed but he flapped his way over to me and hit me in the head with his wing. So he wants to play like that huh? Well two can play that game so before he could fly off I grabbed his tail feathers and held them back, he tried to get out of my grip but failed and ended up falling to the ground and shifted back to human form.
