*Chapter 10* Him Again

I would like to point out that this book has (Slow Posting) on it. I love that you all like this book but I've been getting so many pms to update this and when I say " yes! I love this book and writing but updating will take awhile because I'm very busy " please respect that.

I've had some people even respond saying " but its quarantine, you shouldn't be busy "

Like dude. No. I have a life too and this book is definitely a big part of it. I also get writers block quite often so...

But I love all the nice comments you all have been leaving!! It really makes my day, so thank you so much!

Anyhoe let's get onto the story.

-------

We haven't seen or heard of the great lions of voltron in awhile.

Usually you hear great tales of these warriors and how they saved people from passersbys, but there's been nothing. Almost as if no one has seen them, but come on? They save peoples lives everyday. Someone had to have seen them then.

Still, I'm just glad they haven't reached this planet yet.

The food was starting to get low and less and less people have been visiting.

Right now Narti and I are trying to shop for what ever food that was left in the strip.

"What do you think, Bananas or what ever this pink looking fruit is?" Pulling up the two I showed her.

I smelled the pink mystery fruit and almost gagged. "Nevermind. Were getting the bananas."

After paying the shop owner for half a dozen bananas we continue down the shops. Mainly getting food we also got some supplies like, wood, cloth, and silver.

Once again I was asking Narti between two things.

"This one or this one?" I asked her showing the two different earrings.

One was a silver Cresent moon and the other was a golden star.

She pointed to the moon.

"Good choice." I nodded my head, paying the shop owner.

I put it in my bag before turning back to Narti. If you knew her well you could tell what she was feeling by her body language since, well, she doesn't really show emotion.

But I knew her well and right now, her body says we need to get out of here now.

She grabbed my arm running back up the strip.

"Whats going on?" I ask her easily keeping pace. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see her cat running across  the building tops.

She continued running without answering only to pull us into an alley and press us against the wall.

"Nar-" she cut me off with a hand over my mouth then held one finger to her lips to signal me to be quite.

And that I did.

Only moments later I heard pounding footsteps. They only got louder as they grew closer.

"I swear I saw her!" That voice sounded familiar.

"Come on pidge. You must need your glasses checked." Lance?

"Oh shut up Lance. I really did think I saw her." Pidge. Disappointment laced her voice.

"Whatever you saw doesn't really matter right now, let's get back to the others." Lance told her before the footsteps faded away.

I looked to Narti with wide eyes before we took off.

>Time Skip<

I bursted through his tent where I knew he would be working on his next plans.

"Lotor." I breathed out with Narti right behind me.

His head shot up from his desk where it looked like he was drawing on the map.

He stood quickly by the urgency in my voice.

"What happened?" He asked as he walked closer to us. Well, more like ran.

"Voltrons here on the planet." I said catching my breath.

His eyebrows shot up in shock before he started spitting out orders.

"Okay, you and Narti go grab all the weapons and your tents. Put them in the ship." We nodded and ran towards the weapons.

Making sure I had everyone of them I put them in the ship as asked before running to my tent grabbing all my belongings.

I took those to the ship as well then got my tent itself.

As I was finishing putting things away, I noticed a leak in the ships gas department.

"Guys!" I yelled. Ezors head popped out of the poilots seat.

"What? What is it?" She asked with concern.

"The gas is leaking!" I said frantically.

Her eyes widened even more if possible.

She ran to where I was talking about inspecting it.

"Well, good and bad news." She said with a grimace.

"Good news first please." I spoke with a sigh.

"Good news is, it can easily be repaired. Bad news is, we lost all our gas." She said sighing before looking into my eyes.

"What are we going to do? Last time we had to pay someone in advance for the gas and it was super expensive. " she wasn't wrong, the person we bought it from was also really sketchy.

"Okay, okay. You fix this." I told her before heading out the door.

"What are you going to do?" She asked me right before I stepped out the door.

"Hopefully not going to die." I whispered even though I knew she heard and took that last step out the door.

>Time Skip<

"Listen buddy. I know you has some gas in your shop because I saw it. Now why won't you hand it over." I demanded holding him against the wall.

He was a short man, with a octopus like face and tentacles coming off his face almost making it look like he had a beard.

"Look Missy, if you want that gas, I need a really good price." He spoke with a slight smirk.

"And for you to let me down."

I dropped him and took a step away.

"How much?" I asked fidgeting with my fingers.

"More than what you have." He said, his smirk growing.

I huffed fidgeting with my earring, the moon one that I had only gotten hours before.

"Well, how about you give me that earing and we call it even." He said as I was about to leave.

"What? Why?" I questions taking steps closer with curiosity.

"I - uh- well..." he stuttered, his smirked faltering.

He cleared his throat before he continued,  " my daughter had an earring like that." He said before walking inside, leaving me confused.

About two minutes later he walked out with two jugs of gas setting them down in front of me.

I quickly took the earring out and handed it to him.

I didn't have an attachment to that earring so giving it to someone who did was easy. His eyes brightened a little. I may not know what happened to his daughter but you could tell he really loved her.

I grabbed the gas and ran. "Thank you!" I yelled back.

I turned corners and kept running.

Only stopping when I saw a familiar white floof and unfortunately they saw me two.

"(Y/n)?"

"No, no, no. Dangit!" I mumbled and ran the other direction.

"(Y/n)!" He yelled mostlikely running after me, but one thing he didn't account for, I was stronger. Stronger than I was, and faster than I was. And in some ways, smarter.

I couldn't loose him though. He was still a fast runner. He started to catch up, the gas making me run slower than I could.

I looked for anyway to escape.

Luckily I saw a latter to a roof.

Climbing as fast as I could I threw the gas up on the roof as I continued to climb.

Good thing this was in a alley so hopefully I can loose him long enough to get back to the ship and leave.

I ran from building to building having to jump to some. I looked back really quick to see if he was following,  but I didn't see him.

"(Y/n)!" I heard yelling and I looked down from the building I was on to see Shiro looking up from the ground.

I froze looking into his eyes. I missed those eyes. That smile, and even sometime that frown that always followed after I teased him.

I missed him.

I shook my head clearing those thoughts before taking off in the other direction this time successfully loosing him.
