Anna POV:

I wake up in a dark room with my body tied to a chair and duct tape over my mouth.

I look around to see Anxiety, who walks over when she see's I've woken up.

"You're awake, how did you sleep darling?" Anxiety asks.

I mumble not so nice words under the tape.

I then mumble "Take the tape off!"

Anxiety seems to get it because she rips it off.

"Where am I?" I demand ignoring the pain from where she ripped the tape off my mouth.

"Y/n's mindscape of course, I thought you would recognize it"

"Where are the others?!" I ask her wanting answers.

"Someone far, far away." Anxiety replies.

I'm getting tired of playing her stupid fucking games.

"God Dammit, Anxiety. Where the hell are they??! I need to know they're okay!!" I yell.

She rolls her eyes and holds up a remote.

"Ugh, If you must know."

She presses the button and on a screen I see Y/n, Thomas, Roman, Hailey, Jenna, Patton, Logan, and Gracelyn all tied up with tape  over their mouths.

They are all squirming trying to break free and some are looking at the screen their eyes pleading  at me.

I felt horrible as I saw how helpless they all looked. I feel in a trance as I stare at all of them and feel horrible that there's nothing I can do to help them.

She turns off the screen and I look back at her angrily.

"Anxiety, let them go! They did nothing!" I yell again.

"Anna, I never wanted them, I only wanted you."

"Then keep me, let them go." I say,  not wanting my past to cause the one's I care about to be hurt.

"Oh, honey. I'm afraid I can't do that, they were obstacles in my path to achieving my goal."

"Which is?" I ask.

"Getting you of course."

"I don't want you. I want Virgil." I say missing the emo more than ever.

"Oh, I'm afraid that that's not possible, darling." Anxiety says playing with her nails.

"What do you mean?" I say, not really wanting to know the answer.

"I mean cause he's gone. Dead. Never to be seen again." She looks up at me and I see evil in her eyes.

D-dead???! Virgil can't be dead.

Can he?

"N-no. H-he's not dead. You're lying." I said.

"Fine, don't believe me." She says tauntingly.

"Show me some proof. Proof that Virgil's really gone." I said not believing her.

"If you insist." Anxiety says and My eyes widen about what I see.

She takes out Virgil's purple hoodie with the plaid purple patches and white stitches along the edges of the patches.

I've rarely ever seen Virgil without his hoodie.

He really was gone.

No.

That didn't mean anything, I wasn't going to jump to conclusions that quickly.

"I don't believe you. That doesn't mean anything." I said.

"Fine, don't believe me. It won't change anything." She says.

"Why are you doing this to me?!" I ask Anxiety.

"To get you all to myself of course. I still love you, Anna. And I'm willing get you back at any costs." She says like the creep she is.

"I'm not in love with you anymore, Anxiety. I love Virgil." I said.

"You'll change your mind soon enough." She says sneeringly.

"No, I won't." I insist.

"Whatever you say. But If I can't have you, no one can. So I'll make sure you never see ever  Virgil again. " Anxiety says.

I stare at her with shock.

"Now if you'll excuse me, love, I have to go check on your friends." She smiles like she's so innocent but I know her. I can tell when she's faking.

"Stay away from them." I say and if I wasn't tied up I probably would have punched her in the face by now.

"No can do. I'll back for you, dear. Don't. Escape."

She puts the tape back over my mouth so I can't scream for help and leaves.

I sit there completely helpless and think about how badly I messed up.

I can't believe that just because Anxiety was still in love with me, that Y/n, Thomas, Roman, Hailey, Jenna, Patton, Logan, Gracelyn, and most of all Virgil  were getting punished for it.

This was all my fault.

I can't believe that I dragged them into my drama.

What have I done???
