Omisha was in living room when Rv called her. she was laughing just a moment ago with Taani and Mallika. They had decided to let the boys deal with the office headache for once as they talked about things to deal with, memories to cope with.

Starting over again in this city was not easy, they have lost so much here. This city always reminded them of their loss and the lives that had been brutally taken away from them dealing with all that is proving to be so hard to them. They can't even imagine what it might feel like to the kids. They know they are pulling up an brave facade but hurting inside. They were just discussing how to get them out of their misery when both phone rang.

She received the call smiling when she saw her hubby's number flashing on the screen.

"Omisha, hold on for a minute, I'll add Taani on the call" her hubby's tensed voice greeted her

"Taani is here with me, wait I'm putting the call on speaker. what happened you sound tensed" she questioned him getting worried

"Rv what happened" she heard Taani ask Rv when he didn't answer

"no...I mean yeah it's okay now, it's just" he couldn't find words to speak without making the girls worry more

"RV speak clearly what you want to say, you're scaring us" Taani said looking at the tensed faces of  Omisha and Mallika

"voh Kashi had an accident" Omisha heard only that and felt her heart drop as fear engulfed her whole being.

Fear and dread, only a mother was capable of feeling, tears leaked out of her eyes and she didn't even realize when Taani and Mallika had to hold her to prevent her from falling down.

"how's She Ranveer, How's my daughter???" she heard herself ask Rv frantically as tears continuously rolled out of her eyes

"she is fine Isha, our daughter is strong. We are coming back home and Sharon has been warned she will look after Ansh." Rv stated before disconnecting the call.

Omisha stared at the phone with a look filled with frustration and anguish. She didn't need to hear that her daughter was strong but she will prefer her daughter uninjured thank you very much. Rv's talk made it clear that her daughter was intentionally hurt. Someone was trying to injure her child to take revenge from them. Must be one among their thousands of old enemies but she didn't care about that right now. her dismissal of those people didn't mean she didn't want to tear them apart piece by piece but right now her first priority is her daughter. She cant wait to hold her daughter in her arms and make sure she is fine. She just want to see for herself that her child is safe. she may not be the women who had carried Kashi for 9 months in her stomach but she is Kashi's mother in every other sense that matters.

She is a mother whose daughter has been hurt and her son might be hurt. she doesn't even know.

Look in her eyes you will find a women craving and praying for her child's safety. You'll also find a women ready to destroy everything standing in her way.

Taani and Mallika looked as worried and as broken as Omisha, same thoughts were running through their mind. For Mallika Kashi and Ansh were her first children, she played with them, she held them when they cried, she consoled them, she loved them as her own. For Taani Ansh and Kashi were her reason to live, she was nothing without them. She was a mother who was alive just for her children's happiness. She was a women who had lost her all and her kids were the reason she still kept on going. So, how do you think she will react when someone dares to hurt the most precious thing in her life. how will she react if someone tried to snatch her lifeline from her.

Why do people easily forget their is no one more dangerous than a mother whose child had been hurt. everywhere you can see how strongly and fiercely a mother protects her child even going as far as to battle against the world for her child. Their is nothing more pure and unconditional in the world than a mother's love for her child.

how do you console a mother whose child is hurt, in pain and she can't do anything to make it better.

Their love for their children knew no bounds, no laws, no pity it dares all things and crushed down remorselessly all that stands in it's paths.

The wait of few minutes seemed like eternity to the ladies, they heard a car screeching to halt in front of the door and the women rushed towards the main door to find Rv carrying now a sleepy looking Kashi towards the house.

the women's eyes scanned Kashi's wounds just like Rv did, the blood on her shirt and her tattered dirty jeans did nothing to diminish their worry.

Their eyes filled with new set of tears as they looked at Kashi's plastered ankle.

Omisha rushed towards Rv and engulfed Kashi in a warm hug, crying softly hugging Kashi close to her, calming her frantic heart beat.

"I'm fine, mumma" Kashi tried to reassure her mum not liking the tears in her eyes not at all.

"We can see that beta" Taani stated looking at her pain shinning in her eyes

They took her to her room. Omisha helped Kashi change from her dirty tattered clothes to fresh comfy dress as she made her lie down comfortably on the bed. She sat beside Kashi on the bed caressing her head as Kashi slept snuggling close to her.

Omisha wasn't ready to let Kashi disappear from her sight for even a minute. Only she knew how afraid she was when she heard her daughter had an accident. Motherhood really teaches you thing you never knew about yourself. She felt Rv sat beside her as he stared at Kashi's pale fragile form resting peacefully knowing she was protected.

" she is safe, Isha" he whispered softly in her ears

"I know, who were the people behind this attack" She asked her husband. she knew her family well enough to know that they would have send all the informers of this whole city to find the people behind this attack

"they are searching, Taani and Rey went out. Mallika is preparing something for Kashi and I informed Sid, he is getting back as soon as possible" Rv informed her

She knew Sid will be here asap as the princess of the house was hurt. Kashi is the only girl child in the house obviously all the boys are wrapped around her little finger. she knows her daughter is totally unaware of the place she holds in the heart of everyone.

Ansh was surprised when he and Sid were called to the Dean's office. he was more surprised when he found Savi waiting their already for him.

He looked towards Sharon looking at them nervously, she attempted to smile at their direction but he knew the smile was fake as he could clearly see the worry in her eyes.

"Mam, you called" he asked her not forgetting that he was in college not at home to call her massi.

"yeah Ansh, Rey called he is coming to pick you up" she informed him biting her lips, he knew she bit her lip whenever she was extremely worried about something. she did to control her tears. he could clearly see the tears sparkling in her eyes now that he looked at her eyes more intently

"why, what happened mam, why is buddy coming to pick us suddenly, we drove to college?" he asked her extremely worried about his family, he could feel Savi and Sid tense beside him looking at Sharon waiting for reply

"Ansh, Savi relax, its nothing serious, Kashi is fine" they didn't let Sharon continue when they heard her take Kashi's name " Kashi, what happened to Kashi massi, Is Kashi fine massi, massi" Ansh, Sid and Savi questioned her together fear and worry clearly written on their faces. They forgot everything all that mattered to them at that moment was their sister's safety.

" She is okay boys, she had an accident, she is fine now...she is at home" Sharon informed them trying to calm the hyperventilating boys. She was worried, extremely worried for her foster daughter but she tried to put her worry at bay for her foster sons standing in front of her. she needed to be strong for them

"Accident" all of them stated in a broken tone looking at her with horrified eyes. Sharon reached the boys and pulled the three of them in her arms, she hugged them tightly whispering in their ears, reassuring all of them" she is fine beta, she is fine"

Loving these Kids she understood that their is nothing as powerful as a mother's love and nothing as healing as a child's soul.

Taani was driving her car towards the college, anxiety clear on her features and the speed with which she drove clearly expressed her need to reach the college soon.

"they are safe, Taani" Rey stated placing his hand on her which was resting on the accelerator

"I know but I can't help my anxiety Rey, they are in danger and I can't calm down until I've all of them safely inside the house." Taani replied to him frustrated

"I know........I've informed Saumya, she is returning to the city" Rey informed her as he continued checking the updates from the informers

"Rey, I want those people dead" Taani stated her eyes blazing fire, she wasn't the innocent Taani anymore. she was a women who was handling an empire worth multi million dollars. she knew about the dirty games played by the politician and business people. she knew where water and blood mixes, where it all seems same. She is a beast, people always forget what a women is really capable of doing, a women is chaos and she is a force no man can withstand, without a women their will be no men.

"So, do I....Taani, I was their I saw the whole thing happen. I didn't know at that time that it was my princess who got hit, you don't know what I felt the moment I realized it was my child being tossed on the road like a ragged doll. My heart forgot to beat when I saw her bleeding, broken, pale form and pain filled eyes. I could never see her in pain Taani, a week out of this city and they dared to hurt my jaan." Rey's voice was full of anguish as he said so

"I know Rey, I know...... you don't know how helpless I felt watching her injured form in Rv's arms. You know I don't like feeling helpless....you know I hate that feeling" she spoke anger, frustration seeping out of her voice.

"I know....we will protect them, we will get rid of this problem, together" Rey stated looking at her

"together like always" Taani confirmed

They went their separate ways a long time ago, because of the misunderstandings created by themselves, because of their habit of taking people for granted, the last nail on the coffin was hammered by themselves. they chose their sides not ready to let go of the past and yet they are here today connected again by the past that broke them.

The children were the thread that connected all of them, they connected the broken people to form a family. And now someone dared to attack the thread joining them, they don't know what danger they called upon themselves.

Ananya was in her office when she received the call from an unknown number, absent minded she picked up the call as she went through some files.

"Lisa, I've checked this file this only needs Mr Oberoi's sign, get it signed from him, alright" she told the employee standing in front of her as she received the call

" Ananya Oberoi speaking" she stated confidently on the phone

"baisa mein Ratna, hukum sa ki tabiyat ghani kharab ho gyi h voh aapse milna chahte h( sister, master is really ill he wants to meet you)" The frantic voice of the loyal servant greeted her

"Ratna........hum wapis aa rhe h ( Ratna.....I'm coming back)" she stated taking a deep breath, she was the one taking care of her father's bills. She was the one handling his responsibilities when his favorite son's settled aboard and denied to do anything with his dreams. She don't want to go to that place not again. That place was full of ghosts of past. yet, she have to go back there again for family.

She sighed already feeling an incoming headache coming when the her personal cell rang again this time it was a call from Taani

"ha Taani bolo" Ananya spoke softly happy to hear from her friend

"Ananya.... Kashi got in an accident today, we think It was planned by someone from Shivaaye and Anika's past, Aradhya is in danger too. I think it will be better if you keep her with you till we deal with this threat" Taani informed her in a somber voice

"I'll, do you need help looking after this threat" Ananya asked her worried

"no, I got this handled,you take care of Aradhya" Taani told her sincerely

chatting for a few minutes both of them disconnected the call

Ananya rubbed her forehead feeling the headache. She never wanted to take her daughter to that place but looks like she don't have any option now.

Taking a deep breath, she dialed Shivaaye's number

"Ananya, do you need anything??" was the question that greeted her as soon as Shivaaye picked up the call

"yes...Dad's ill, so I'm going to go visit him. I was planning to take Aru with me, so just thought to inform you." Ananya spoke already planning ways to make Shivaaye agree

"okay, take my jet and the car will be already waiting for you. call me when you reach Jaisalmer " Shivaaye told her, Shivaaye knew about the attack on Kashi and he even knew who was behind it. Elina's father was back in the game and he wants to kill Kashi, Aru and Ansh now. He can't let that happen. it's better if Aru is out of the city till he get rid of this men for once and all.

"thanks....shivaaye" Ananya stated gratefully

"it's okay.....take care of Aru....pls" shivaaye stated trace of vulnerability visible in his voice, a vulnerability rarely seen in the great sso

"I'll......I promise" Ananya promised him as she disconnected the call.

And left her office first to pick up Aru then pack for her trip to her father's home.
