"Come on, Lixie! Just one more hour and then we'll go home!" Areum shouted, her melodious voice making it difficult for Felix to deny her request.
"That's what you always say! It's always, 'one more hour and we'll go home', every time I ask you to go home! And then when we finally leave, you manage to stop at every store to buy something since apparently, everything catches your eye!" Felix exclaimed, annoyed with Areum's childish tactics.

The both of them were at the mall, shopping. And with a shopaholic like Areum, Felix always returned home with empty pockets.

"Fiiiiine, we'll go home." she pouted. Felix laughed looking at her cute face, and without a warning, bent down to her level and pecked her lips. Areum turned a shade of red as she playfully hit his arm and dragged out of the mall, all the while grumbling about how much she hated PDA.

"ReLAX, woman! It was one peck! Am I not allowed that much anymore?" Felix groaned, looking at Areum with the cutest face possible.

"I suppose, but you know how I am, I-"
"Yeah, you hate it cause all the girls nearby glare at you and then you feel like you're not good enough for me. I know. But you should know, you're perfect, and I couldn't care less about what anyone else says." Felix smiled, as he bent down to peck her lips once more and walked away, saying, "I'm gonna go get the car, so wait for me Ari!"

Areum smiled as she saw him walk away as he struggled with her many, many shopping bags. Suddenly her phone's ringtone filled the air, and she fished through her purse to find it. She finally felt the cold screen of her phone and pulled it out. However, the smile that had placed her face just a moment ago completely vanished as she saw the caller id

Hyunjin
She quickly picked up his call and put the phone to her ear.

"I thought I told you, I'm out with Felix." Areum huffed, sounding irritated.
"And that affects me, how?"
"Cause I haven't told him about me being in a fucking mafia, dickhead!" she whisper-yelled, trying to keep her voice low.
"Then tell him, he should know" Hyunjin calmly replied.
"I'm looking for the perfect time!" she murmured, her voice trailing away as she saw a person, all dressed in black, staring at her.
"What happened? Something happened, didn't it?" he asked, sounding a bit worried.
"Nothing, I thought I saw something. Leave that, you still haven't told me why you called."
"Yes, we have a job for you. You know that spy we sent to trail the CEO of Lee industries so that we can expose his drug dealing ring?"
"Yeah, what happened?" she replied.
"He's been MIA for three days now. So we need you to go his last known location and find out where he is"
"Why me? Anyway, text me the details. Also, the case I've been looking into. I think I've uncovered something huge. I can't tell anything right now, I'll tell you guys when I swing by the hideout tomorrow."
"Be careful Areum. We don't know anything about the case you're investigating. So if anything ever happens to you, we might not be able to help."
"I know. You be careful too. I gotta go, Felix's here." She mumbled, and cut the call as she waved down to Felix, who was busy stopping his car beside Areum for her to hop in.

"Who were you talking to?" Felix asked, eyeing her as she stuffed her phone back in her purse.
"No one important" she dismissed as she put her seatbelt on

"It was that Hyunjin, wasn't it?" Felix growled as he started driving.
Areum let out a gasp of surprise as she figured out Felix's behavior. "You're jealous!" she exclaimed as Felix turned red.
"So you are. Eh. Don't worry baby, I'm already yours. Besides, he's already dating Yura." she continued, smirking as she looked at Felix, his cheeks turning a violent shade of red.

Felix kept quiet and continued driving, his cheeks slowly turning back to their normal color as he heard Areum go on about unfair prices, to male shopkeepers flirting with her, to her questioning life in general.

Felix finally stopped the car in front of Areum's house. He got out and ran to the side to open the door for Areum. She stepped out gracefully, and together, the couple hauled out all of Areum's many shopping bags. They went into the house using the back door, and made their way to the staircase.

Felix let out a sigh as he dumped the bags on Areum's bed, Areum mirroring his actions.
"I think that Innie's home, but I'm pretty sure that mom and dad are not visiting. We've got some time to kill, and I want cuddles!" she demanded. Felix had to laugh at that. She smiled and turned pink as his deep voiced laugh reverberated throughout the room.

They both threw the bags off the bed and jumped into each other's arms, landing on the bed in each other's embrace. Areum tightened her grip around Felix's torso as she snuggled her face in his chest. Felix put one hand around her waist and held her, as he used his other hand to caress her straight black hair. They stayed like that for some time, until they heard Jeongin shouting from downstairs, "NOONA! I KNOW YOU'RE HOME CAUSE FELIX HYUNG'S CAR IS OUTSIDE! YOU BETTER NOT BE MAKING BABIES!"

Areum and Felix both turned a violent shade of red and sprang out of the bed. They ran downstairs, meeting Jeongin- who was waiting for them with a stern expression- and the two burst out laughing.
"HEY! I'M SERIOUS! NO LAUGHING!" Jeongin shouted, trying to sound intimidating.
"I'm sorry, you look too cute when you're trying to be intimidating, Innie" Areum choked out while she was laughing, as she wiped tears from her eyes. Jeongin pouted.
"Ignore her Jeongin. Don't worry about us doing anything. I love and respect her too much to be making babies with her." Felix giggled as he tried and failed to stop laughing. Jeongin looked away with a hmph, and Felix turned to Areum, motioning her to stop laughing.
She didn't immediately stop, but her laugh died down when Felix told her that he was leaving.

She followed him to the car's door. Right before Felix got in, Areum pulled him into a hug.
"You know, I'm thinking that I should go after the CEOs of every shop in the mall's company and then threaten them to reduce their stupid prices." she said, her voice muffled by her face buried in his shoulder.
"Won't their security kill you before that happens?" he laughed.
"I'd like to see them try. But if I do die, or something happens, I should probably leave a note behind for you and Innie to find. And then I'd hide that note in my most cherished thing" she murmured.
"As if that's ever gonna happen." Felix laughed.

Areum pulled away, and Felix pecked her lips once more before getting in his car. But just before he could drive away, Areum put her hand in the car through the window and held Felix's hand and asked, "Promise me, that no matter what happens, you'll be there for me?"
"I promise." he replied, too shocked that she would ever ask him that.

And with that, he drove into the night.
