The prince had dragged me outside to a stable to where his knight Erza had two horses. She had already put on their saddles. "They could only spear two" Erza looked toward us as Natsu nodded. He soon let go of my hand as he walked over to a brown horse while Erza was stroking a silver one. "Know how to ride Lucy?" Natsu looked at me as I shook my head. He offered me his hand as I walked over. He took my hand and moved it onto the side of the horse. I couldn't help but smile as I stroke the horse. I never really had been up close to one before.

"Ideas on where to start looking Natsu?" Erza soon asked as I turned my head to see Natsu thinking. I could tell he had no idea on where to start. "The mountains near my village there is a cave system there" I soon spoke as both of them looked at me a tad shocked but soon nodded. Natsu soon put his hands on my waist and lifted me up onto the horses saddle. It did jump me at first. He soon got on also behind me. I then noticed Erza getting onto her horse. "Those mountains are in the Ice Kingdom territory" Erza spoke.

"It would be rare as hell to run into anyone from the Ice Kingdom" Natsu replied as Erza nodded. "If we take the back roads through the woods we can get their sooner" Erza soon spoke. Natsu nodded as he made us go ahead, Erza following just behind us. I looked away my thoughts were on Eclair and Michelle. My heart still was blaming me for failing them. I couldn't protect them. It hurt me knowing that I failed them. It hurt even more knowing they could be in trouble or being hurt.... Or even worse..... Dead. 

I knew I shouldn't of been thinking that way but my head wouldn't do anything else. "We will find them Lucy" Natsu soon spoke as I looked at me a little shocked. He was smiling at me as I looked away face some reason my cheeks were burning up. I had only just met the Prince. On top of that he was the Prince, even if I did get feelings I had no chance. I couldn't let this distract me or happen. "I just hope they are ok" I mumbled as after that the ride was very quiet. We ended up riding all day as soon as the sun was setting we reached my village. 

Or what was left of it. Many buildings were half burned down or destroyed. There as dry blood in places as it looked like a ghost town. The Prince got off the horse first and then helped me down as Erza got off her horse. I started moving walking around the village as I looked around worried, scared and most of all guilty. It was rare for magic to be in this village and I the only person who did failed them all. I couldn't save them. I soon got to my inn seeing it was standing still but most of it was burned. 

It didn't look very stable but I went inside anyways. I looked around seeing more blood and seeing the place was trashed as if we was raided. I heard the door open again as I turned my head to see Erza and the Prince. I then moved toward the bar/welcome/booking desk to see a picture of me, Eclair and Michelle on the wall. We was all smiling as you could see we had dirt over our clothes. "Are those your sisters?" Erza asked as I took the picture. "Yeah" I answered as a small glint of light came in the corner of my eye. 

I turned my head to see Eclair's necklace on the ground next to my feet. I moved over to it, picking up the necklace. The necklace was a very shinny stone with a image of a phoenix and a fairy on there. It didn't have a normal chain but had rope instead. "Eclair would never take this off" I mumbled as we soon heard crackling echo around the building. "This place is about to crash down, we should leave" Erza spoke looking at the Prince who nodded. We all soon moved toward the door. 

I ended up putting Eclair's necklace on and dropping the picture onto the ground. I was going to find them. I knew keeping the picture would just keep me feeling guilty and with that I wouldn't be able to use every bit of my magic. The Prince and I followed Erza as she had the horses next to the villages town hall. It was the only building that looked half burned of destroyed. We moved inside to see it was in a horrid mess. "We shall sleep here tonight, Natsu use a Lacrima to inform your father that we are safe" Erza soon ordered.

The Prince soon sighed nodded heading back outside. I moved around the town hall as with this messed it looked as if the attackers, the Tartaros members were looking for something. "This place is more of a mess than the inn" Erza mumbled as I could tell she was thinking the same thing as I. I then remembered about the town jewel. We may of been a very small town pretty far from others but we used to have a type of crystal. I moved toward the back of the room and moved one of the pictures to see a hole in the wall.

It was empty. It seemed Tartaros found it. "Do you know how to use the mountain cave system Lucy?" Erza soon asked as I turned around to face her. "Some of it, not all" I answered as she then nodded. I could tell she was trying to think of some type of plan. "If we run into any of the Tartaros members a fight could end up badly" Erza was mumbling to herself as I put my hand on Eclair's necklace.

I was just hoping.... Praying..... 

I wanted them to be ok.....
