Chapter 30: Daughter

Aaron's p.o.v

Justin read the letter, making everyone shocked.

" He is trying to hurt Aaron because of Rayna??", Mr Christopher mumbled.

" We need to find him as soon as possible before he becomes more dangerous for our family", Justin said.

" Our main priority is Isla. We need to focus on her for the time being. He is gone and will not try to do anything for some time. Once we bring Isla home from the hospital, we will talk about him", I  announced.

For me, Isla is more important than anything else.

Everyone agreed with me since Isla is more important than finding that mystery man.

Mr Christopher and his brothers help me to increase our house and hospital's security in case someone tries to hurt us again.

Isla's p.o.v

I felt pain in my shoulder making me hiss slightly. I opened my eyes slowly and saw Aaron standing in front of me.

I remembered everything that happened at the party. Someone tried to shoot Aaron and I pushed him away.

" Aaron …..you are fine, right??", I asked him weakly.

" I should be the one asking you this question. Why did you come in front of me?? What if something has happened to you?"Aaron asked me, angrily.

I know he is angry with me for coming in front of him. He can't see me getting hurt like I can't see him hurt.

" And if something had happened to you?? I can't stand aside knowing you are in danger.", I  said, pouting trying to melt his anger.

I know he can't stay angry with me for a long time.

" Don't do such kinds of things again. I can't see you getting injured again and again", Aaron said softly while holding my hand.

" I am fine. Don't worry", I said, softly, trying to reassure him.

I know Aaron can't see me getting hurt, especially for him. But I can't sit calmly knowing, his life is in danger.

" Mom, Dad", I said, seeing them entering the room.

" How are you?"Dad asked me, caressing my hair, and making me smile.

" I am completely fine, Dad. Don't worry about me", I said, giving them a sweet smile.

" We were so scared seeing blood everywhere around you", Mom said, sadly, remembering those moments.

" I will recover soon, Mom", I said, trying to reassure them.

" Forget everything, we have good news for you", Dad said, smiling, making me confused.

" What?" I  asked.

" Please come inside", Aaron said, smiling. I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

After a few seconds, Aunt Violet, Uncle Christopher, Uncle Andrew and Uncle Travis entered the room.

I saw them standing at the door. They were looking nervous.

" Hello", Aunt Violet said, nervous.

" Why are you standing there? Please come inside", I said, politely.

" How are you feeling now??"Uncle Christopher asked me.

" Much better", I  said, giving a small smile.

" Call me Dad like you used to call me when you were a child, princess", Uncle Christopher said, with wet eyes.

I was shocked to hear him. What is he talking about?? Dad??

I took a deep breath, hearing uncle Christopher.

" Dad??"I  asked, not knowing what was happening.

" Yes!! We are your parents, Princess", Aunt Violet said, softly.

" How?? And if it's true then why did you leave me in an orphanage?? Why did you abandon me??"I asked, crying.

Why did they abandon me?! Why??

" We didn't abandon you, Princess. We can't even think about it. We love you a lot. Only, we know how we have survived these years without you. Never ever think about it.", uncle Andrew said, trying to tell the truth.

" Then why??"I asked him.

" Everything happened due to our enemies. It was your and your brother's third birthday. We had arranged a party for you three. Everything was going fine when suddenly one of our enemies kidnapped you. We followed him to rescue you. We were about to save you when he threw you in the river. We tried to find you but failed. Police declared you dead but our family never believed this. We know you are alive and waiting for us. In the past nineteen years, we had done everything to find you, child", uncle Andrew told me, holding my hand.

I was crying hearing the truth.  So my parents didn't abandon me. They love me as much as I love them. They had tried to find me.

I turned my face towards Aaron, wanting to confirm what I had heard was right. I am not having a dream, am I ??

Aaron nodded his head, smiling, knowing what was running in my mind.

I turned my  head toward my parents and said," Mom, Dad"

Aunt Violet I mean Mom cried happily when I called her Mom.

" My daughter, My Eliana", Mom said, kissing my forehead.

" We are also here", Andrew dad said.

" Dad", I said, crying happily.

" Our princess", he said, with wet eyes.

I am happy to meet my parents. Aaron, Stella Mom and Justin dad went outside to give us privacy.

Mom, Dad told me everything about my childhood, my brothers, and my grandparents. I can't believe I have siblings and we were born together. I can't wait to meet my complete family.

After some time, Mom and Dad left the room and sent Aaron inside.

I hugged him tightly and started crying, feeling emotional after meeting my family.

" Don't cry, sweetheart. I know you are feeling emotional meeting your family after a long time but please don't cry. It's not good for your health", Aaron said, caressing my hair.

After some time, I slept feeling tired.

The next day, my brothers and grandparents came to meet me. My grandparents were crying in happiness, meeting me after a long time.

They told me how difficult it was for my parents when they lost me.

I am blessed to have two families who love me more than anything.

Mom asked Stella Mom to bring me home with them once I got discharged, and they agreed knowing, my real family wants to spend some time with me.

Two months later,

It has been two months since I was discharged from the hospital.

I have been living with my real parents for the past two months. Aaron and others come to meet me regularly.

My family had also accepted Aaron as their son-in-law.

They know Aaron is best for me. He loves me a lot and would always protect me from everything.

In these past two months, both the families had tried to find the man who had tried to hurt Aaron and had accidentally hurt me.

They only got to know that his name is Gael and he is an orphan. He was Rayna's boyfriend and wanted to take revenge for Rayna without knowing the whole truth, without knowing she was cheating on him, without knowing she was using him only. She had never loved him.

They had tried to find him but they didn't succeed. He had vanished without leaving a single clue.

Both the families had hired a private investigator to find him. They had also increased the security to make sure this kind of incident never happens again.

Today, I am very happy because I  am joining Aaron's firm once again.

It has been a long time since I have visited the office.

Today is my first day after a long break. The whole family is present at the dining table, having their breakfast.

" We know today you are going to the office and you can't wait to meet your fiance but please stop grinning. You are looking like a lovesick puppy", Nathan said, teasing me, making Xavier chuckle.

My brothers love to tease me but they are the ones who pamper me the most after my fathers of course.

" Dad", I said, pouting, knowing they are only afraid of Dad, no one else.

" Why are you teasing my Princess", Christopher Dad asked, raising his eyebrows.

" I think they need a good beating for irritating our Princess", Travis Dad said, glaring at both the brothers.

I start grinning seeing their faces turning pale in nervousness.

" Dad!! It's not fair. You never call me your prince like you call her Princess", Nathan said pouting, trying to change the topic.

" I agree", Xavier said, supporting his brother.

If outsiders see these two arrogant, cold, dominating CEO brothers pouting in front of their family, they will faint in shock. My  brothers are known as devils in the business world.

" Shut up and stop irritating my princess", Andrew Dad said angrily.

" Mom!! They are bullying your cute sons", both the brothers shouted, knowing only our mother can handle our fathers.

" Stop shouting", Travis Dad said, trying to make them stop.

" What happened??", Mom asked, coming towards them.

" Nothing", the three of them said together, making me laugh loudly.

I can't believe my cold, dominating fathers are afraid of my mother who looks so cute when she is angry.

I am living happily with my parents, siblings and grandparents but that doesn't mean I had forgotten about Avery, Stella Mom and Justin Dad. They will forever remain in my heart. They are my first family who had loved me, protected me for such a long time without wanting anything in return, who had loved me unconditionally. They are my family and no one can change this fact.

I am blessed to have two families and Aaron as my love,my life partner who loves to pamper me.

Chapter 31: Epilogue

Writer's p.o.v

Isla was smiling seeing her whole family, talking with each other happily.

" Mom, I am going to the office. I will be late since I am going to the Miller Mansion in the evening", Isla said, kissing Violet's Cheeks.

" No problem!! I am thinking of inviting them for dinner. Your fathers and I  need to talk about your and Aaron's relationship. What do you think about it??", Violet asked her, making her blush.

" I don't have any problem", Isla said, blushing before grabbing her bag and leaving the house.

" We can talk about their relationship but don't think about getting her married so soon. We are not ready to let her leave us again so soon. Aaron needs to wait for some years before marrying our Princess.", Christopher said, strictly.

" We agree", Xavier and Nathan said, not ready to send their sister with Aaron so soon.

" Even I am not ready to send her with Aaron for some years. I know Aaron also understands that we want to spend some time with our princess before she gets married to him. This time we will just talk about their relationship and make their engagement official", Violet said, reassuring them.

" Okay", everyone agreed.

In the office,

Isla makes her way towards her cabin and meets Autumn, who was sitting behind the reception table.

" How are you, Isla?", She asked, hugging her.

" I am fine. How are you?", Isla asked, smiling.

" I am good. Boss is inside his cabin waiting for you", Autumn said with a teasing smile on her lips.

" Thank you", Isla said and went to Aaron's cabin.

She entered his room without knocking on the door.

He was doing some work on his laptop. She went near him and closed his laptop before settling herself on his lap.

" Your beautiful fiance had come to the office after such a long time and you didn't even notice her", She complained, pouting.

He chuckled hearing her complaint.

" I was not ignoring you, sweetheart. I was just trying to finish my work so I can spend my whole day with my fiance", Aaron said, pecking her lips.

" Really??"She asked, happily.

" Yup!! Now let me finish my work and we will go outside to enjoy ourselves later", Aaron said, opening his laptop.

Isla was about to climb off his lap when he wrapped his arm around her waist, stopping her from moving.

" Stay here until I complete my work", Aaron said, making her relax in his arms.

She put her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. After a few minutes, she fell asleep against his chest.

Aaron was working when he noticed her sleeping like a baby. He slowly picked her in his arms and took her to the couch, making her lay on it comfortably.

Aaron finished his work in an hour. Isla also wakes up around the same time.

Aaron left the office along with Isla.

" Where are we going?", Isla asked him.

" It's a surprise,'' Aaron replied.

" At least give me some kind of hint", she said.

" Nope!!", He replied.

She pouted, hearing his denial.

After half an hour, they reached their destination.

" Amusement park!!"Isla screamed, happily.

" Yup!!"He replied, knowing she wants to come to this amusement park but didn't tell him since he doesn't like to go to crowded places.

" How do you know I want to come here?"She asked him.

" I know everything about you, sweetheart", Aaron said, winking at her.

" But you don't like crowded places", she said.

" You want to come, so here we are. I will manage", Aaron said, smiling at her.

" Thank you", She said, happily hugging him.

Isla pulls him towards the rides. They took many rides together. She was running like a child, having fun.

She brought cotton candy and made him taste it for the first time in his life.

" I want to ride the Ferris wheel. Let's go", Isla said, pulling him with her.

Both of them sit in the pods( passenger cars) of the Ferris wheel.

The Ferris wheel starts rotating slowly.  Isla starts smiling excitedly seeing the view from above.

"Everyone says the couple who kiss each other on the top of the Ferris wheel, always live together until death does them apart," Isla said, dreamily.

Aaron was looking at her with love and amusement in his eyes.

When they were about to reach the top of the Ferris wheel, he pulled her closer, making her chest touch his.

" Until death do us apart", Aaron whispered before claiming her lips for a deep, passionate kiss.

Both of them know they will need to face many difficulties in their life but they are ready to face them together, protecting each other.

They will stay together until death does them apart.
