The next day, Aaron along with his family got ready and went to Mr Lee's house for dinner.

It took them an hour to reach Mr Lee's house.

When they reached outside his house, Mr Lee was standing outside to welcome us.

" Welcome", Mr Lee said, welcoming them to his house.

" Thank you for accepting my invitation", Mr Lee said.

" Thank you for inviting us", Justin said.

Everyone settled in the living room. Mr Lee's cook arranges some drinks for guests.

Everyone was engaged in some talks when a young woman, around 29 years old, entered the living room, wearing a very stylish dress.

" Hey, Dad!!", She said to Mr Lee.

" Rayna, come here", Mr Lee said to her.

She slowly went close to her father.

" She is my daughter, Rayna,'' Mr Lee said, introducing her.

" He is  Justin Miller, my old friend and she is his wife, Stella", Mr Lee said to Rayna.

" Hello", Rayna said, shaking hands with Justin and Stella.

" He is Aaron Miller, Justin's brother and a lawyer. Because of him, I was saved from my rival's schemes", Mr Lee said.

" She is Avery and She is Isla, Justin's daughter", Mr Lee said introducing them.

Her father was shocked to see her obsession with Aaron. He knows his daughter very well. Once she wants something, she get it by Hook or Crook.

" I will talk with Justin and Aaron about it. But I am not sure Aaron will accept the proposal or not", Mr Lee said.

" I am sure he will agree. Men die for my one look and he is getting a chance to marry me. He is lucky that I like him and want to marry him. I will have him as my husband,no matter what", Rayna said with an attitude.

Two days later,

Aaron and Isla were in Aaron's cabin, discussing some cases.

" Miss Lee!! Sorry for the inconvenience but they are only doing their duty. No one is allowed to meet Mr Miller with an appointment. Please take an appointment and come back later", Isla said, politely, giving a fake smile.

" Miss Miller!! Don't forget with whom you are talking. I am the heiress of Lee enterprises", She said, arrogantly.

" It doesn't matter who you are. Rules are rules, Miss Lee", Isla said and went from there.

" You…", Rayna said, angrily but Isla ignored her and went from there.

Chapter 23: Proposal

It has been a week since they had dinner at Lee Mansion.

In this whole week, Rayna had come to Aaron's office once again to meet him with the excuse of discussing business but Isla and her friends didn't let her.

This makes Rayna angry. She had started hating Isla and her friends.

She is waiting for an opportunity to approach Aaron. Tomorrow her father is going to Miller Mansion with a marriage proposal.

" Let me get married to Aaron, then I will tell you what I can do, Isla. I will teach you a good lesson", Rayna mumbled.

Next month, Avery and Ian are getting married so the whole family is busy making arrangements and finishing their work before the deadline.

The next day, Aaron asked Isla to reschedule his meeting which was going to take place on Friday.

Aaron was informing Isla about a new case when Mr Lee called him.

" Hello, Mr Miller", Mr Lee said, greeting him.

"Good evening", Mr Lee said, greeting them.

" Good evening, Mr Lee", Aaron replied while shaking his hand.

Justin and Stella also greeted Mr Lee.

All of them settled in the living room, having tea and snacks.

" Sorry for wasting your time, Mr Miller. I know you are a busy man but this matter was important so…", Mr Lee said.

" It's okay!! What do you want to talk about??", Aaron asked him.

" Aaron... I can call you Aaron, right?", He asked Aaron.

Aaron nodded his head, asking him to continue.

" It's about my daughter. Today, I have come here with a marriage proposal. My daughter likes Aaron and wants to marry him. What is your opinion about this?", He asked them.

Hearing him, everyone was shocked while Isla was feeling angry thinking about Aaron and Rayna's marriage.

" It's not possible, Mr Lee", Aaron said, rudely.

" But why?? I mean my daughter is beautiful and the only heir of my company", Mr Lee said, trying to make him agree.

" You think I care about your money??", Aaron asked him, rudely.

" Aaron, calm down", Justin said to Aaron.

" Fiance??"Mr Lee asked.

" It's okay!!"Aaron replied.

Justin went outside along with Mr Lee to see him off.

" I am really sorry, Justin. If I have any idea about Aaron and Isla, I would have never come here with a marriage proposal", Mr Lee said, with a sad face.

" It's completely fine. I understand your love towards your daughter", Justin said, giving him an assuring smile.

Justin came back to the living room after a few minutes.
