Rithick and Rahul felt like sudden earthquake in their heart. They both gazed at each other with shrieked eyebrows. They seemed to be blank without ideas to manage the situation.

Neethu gazed them with confused eyes.

"Why there is a sudden change in your face? Did I asked anything wrong?" asked Neethu.

"Nothing wrong in it!" replied Rahul.

Neethu said to Rahul, "okay! Let's you say about yourself brother. I'm eager to know about you and your family."

Rahul inhaled and exhaled out a long breathe. He gazed at Rithick.

Rahul cleared his throat and said,
"My dad Mr. Rudhra was an senior Army officer. My mom was an Doctor. I have a younger sister Riya. My native Tamil Nadu but we won't have any permanent resident and now in Bengaluru. Also, I have an affectionate cousin. He is my best friend always."

Neethu exclaimed, "Wow! Great lovely family. I wish to meet Riya."

Rahul said, "Of course."

"Your Cousin is too lucky to be your best friend," she chuckled.

"Then, Rithick is not your friend? See, Rithick's face get changed at the moment you said that your cousin is your best," she sighed.

Rahul looked at Rithick. Both showed their affection in their eyes. They felt like hugging each other.

Rahul was unable to answer Neethu. He was blank at that moment. Rithick could sense Rahul was searching for words. He don't want Rahul to be in this situation.

Rithick said, "Come on Neethu! What you want to know about me?"

Neethu with smile in her face said, "I know only your name nothing more than that Rithick."

Rithick was unable to describe himself as Rithick Sanjay to Neethu. He had no idea that how Neethu would react if she knows that he was the only son of the top businessman in the country. He could hear his mind voice saying that would Neethu make a distance if she know the truth? Lot's of questions he asked to himself. Finally, he decided to say the truth.

Neethu was eager to hear about Rithick's family.

Rithick gazed at Neethu for a while "Neethu! My dad......." He didn't even complete the sentence.

Neethu said, "Stop Rithick!"

Rithick with empty eyes looked her.

"Rithick! I could sense sprinkling of water drops in my hand. Did you sensed?" asked Neethu, excitedly.

Rithick said, " Yeah, Of course Neethu!" He wiped out the water drops in his head and hand.

Neethu raised her head above, the rain drops drizzled her soft cheeks.

"Wow! It's rain drops. See the dark clouds with lightning occurs in between" she excited.

Rithick sighed, "It's started raining heavily! Let's move under the tree shade Neethu."

"Neethu! Get up," said Rithick.

Neethu stood up and she started drenching in the rain.

Rithick and Rahul stood up and they moved under the tree shade. Rithick thought that Neethu was following him.

Rithick noticed that Neethu had stretched her hand straight and raised her head above like the kids playing in the rain.

Rithick shouted, "Neethu! Come on. It's raining heavily with thunder storms in between."

Neethu was not in the mood to hear Rithick. She started enjoying the rain.

"Don't play! Listen to me," yelled Rithick.

She waved the hands towards Rithick saying, "Come on Rithick! Let's enjoy together in rain."

Rithick shouted, "You will get cold Neethu! Come here."

She didn't even hear his words. Rithick had no other way. He moved towards Neethu.

"What doing Neethu? Please, don't get drenched in rain," Rithick shrieked.

Neethu was happy to see Rithick in rain. Both are drenching by the beautiful drops of rain.

"Rithick! Let's enjoy," chuckled Neethu.

"There is nothing special in rain. Don't get drenched. Try to understand me," he sighed.

Neethu replied, "No way Rithick! I love Rain. It rejoice the thirsty earth and bless the new plants, flowery buds etc. It won't come often, if it rains I never miss it. Once you started enjoying the rain, you could feel the happiness in each drops."

Rithick had no other way than to hold her hand to drag her away from rain. His mind didn't stop him.

Rithick pulled her hand and she falls in his chest losing her control. He lost his balance and he thought that Neethu would fall down. Immediately, he wrapped his hand around her waist to save her from falling.

Rithick's heart skipped a beat for a second at once he wrapped her. He could breathe her chill breathe. He could feel her heart pounding faster. Rithick could see the most beautiful angel in his hand. Both gazed at each other. They were interlocked together.

Neethu exclaimed, "Rithick! What are you doing? Leave me."

Rithick said, "Nope! I won't leave you"

"I said to enjoy the rain Rithick! Leave me" She started pushing him. He loosened his hold and stood close to Neethu.

"Yeah, Of course! I'm enjoying Neethu."

"I never enjoyed the rain before but now I wish to enjoy the rain with you" he chuckled.

"Nope Rithick! You haven't drenched before so you may get cold Rithick" she worried.

"No way! I will enjoy" he raised his hands above and then stretched his hands straight. His foot can't stand in a place started dancing. Neethu gazed at Rithick. She couldn't stop him from enjoying.

"Let's go! You have never drenched before may be it won't suit you. Come Rithick! Please"

He was enjoying the moment by closing his eyes. He was singing the lyrics, "I asked my heart Who am I? It replied that I'm yours. (Nan nanna keten enai nanae? Nan neeya nenjam sonathe)"

"Wow! Fabulous voice but I can't enjoy now. I won't allow you to drench in rain" She pulled his hand and moved under the tree shade.

They stood under the tree shade where they could hide themselves from the rain drops.

"Rithick! Why you have drenched? Your dress become wet and now you are shivering" asked Neethu, affectionately.

"I love rain!" exclaimed Rithick.

"What?" She asked with doubtful eyes.

"I started loving the rain for about past 15 minutes" he chuckled.

Neethu smiled at Rithick. They were standing in such a way that rain drops wouldn't sprinkle them. Both stood very close to each other. Rithick leaned himself on the tree. She leaned more or less nearer to his chest. Both seemed to the beautiful lovey-dovey couples.

"Neethu!" Rithick spelled her name in low pitched voice.

"What?" She chuckled.

"This is the most beautiful moment in my life" said Rithick, romantically.

"Really?" asked Neethu

"Yeah, Of course Neethu!" said Rithick.

"I said already that rain would enhance the happiness of the person" said Neethu.

"Let the rain shower it's blessings on us," said Rithick with closed eyes.

"It's too late! How will you go to hostel Neethu? No one was here," asked Rithick, caringly.

Neethu looked around her. No one was around the green park. Mithila was also not there, she was going to meet her family today.

"No problem, I will go alone Rithick! How will you go?" asked Neethu.

He laughed, "Rahul is there for me. We both go together. Okay! I will get an umbrella for you."

Neethu smiled at Rithick saying, "I am already drenched thoroughly."

"Nope! sometimes it may rain heavily" said Rithick.

Rithick got an umbrella from Rahul who was standing in the corridor.

"I am sorry Rahul. You have waited for a long" said Rithick.

"It's not a problem! Why are you saying sorry and all? You are my bestie Rithick!" Rahul patted Rithick.

Rithick handed the umbrella to Neethu. Neethu got it from him. She waved the hands towards Rithick and Rahul. Neethu, then stepped towards the hostel. Rithick stood with longing eyes.
