"N-nunu...they're gaining on us. Come on! Stay up!" Unique whined as we trudged through the leafy grounds of the woods.

Shortly after getting a mile out here in these woodlands, I picked up several heartbeats advancing towards us from behind us. They were the remaining guards that I was waiting to show up. Seems to me that they were stored for this exact moment.

"I..I'm t-trying." I tiredly whispered under my breath. All of this walking makes me sleepy and this ground is looking a lot comfy to lay in.

Several pats to my side, jolted the pain in me. I abruptly regained awareness of my surroundings. "Ow!" I groaned.

"Sorry, you were about to pass out again."Unique said.

I hummed before catching the sight of a cave. We can go there but it's too obvious, they'll catch us if we hide in there. Unless there's another way out of it.

"Cave...there. Let's go there." I said, slightly nodding my head towards the direction of the cave. Unique turned to look at where I'm showing her, "I don't think that's a good idea. There could be just as much trouble in there than out here." She said cautiously.

If I wasn't in so much pain right now, I'd argue with her on why should go to the cave.

"Look, we can hide out somewhere else. The cave is too risky." She said after changing her course to yet another direction. We were walking in long zigzag patterns.

I groaned in exhaustion, all of this moving and having to stay up is a real pain in the butt. It takes me back to my pain tolerance training portion. I hated it, I went through electrocution, burns, cuts, bullet wounds, and even suffocation, only too improve my levels by 5% and I was originally at 40%

The fracture in my spine feels like my back is literally bent in half. There's no way I can keep going, I'm deadweight for Unique. They'll catch up to us sooner than expected, then we'll definitely meet our ends.

"H-hey..I think I see a house. Wait no, there's a small town up ahead. We can hide in one of the houses." Unique whispered, as she guided us towards the supposed town.

I trust Unique to take us to safety, if she says says there'a a town up ahead, then I'll gladly let her take me there. I'm too weak and frail to argue or even listen to her.

Snap!

"Faster." I whispered to Unique.

They're gaining on us, despite the zig zag motion we're traveling in, the men behind us seems to still get closer.

I realized we were in town, when my feet was no longer walking on the soft dirt ground of the woodlands. Even the hard concrete floor seems very appealing to sleep on.

Unique now started to pick up the pace and walked deeper into the town. It's quiet...really quiet here.

I know is nighttime but, I can't even pick up any faint noises from here. If only I can lift up my head and see my surrounding. "U-unique, w..what do y-you see?" I asked lowly.

"I see small houses clustered together, and each house has vines growing on practically all sides."

"...g-ghost town." I said

"Huh?"

I can't explain now, but if we're in a ghost town then there's a good chance we can survive this night.

"F-find a double...cellar."

"A double cellar?"

Oh shit, I can't stay up anymore. My eyes can't stay open for any longer, it kills me trying to walk and stay up.

"Who taught you to fight?"

*chuckle*

"So your telling me Milani taught you to fight?  I vividly remember her as the kind caring sister of all her siblings. How can a sweet candy like her teach you to fight so greasy?"

"Hmm, well maybe it's because we all were nearly wiped from existence less than a decade ago."

*laughing*

"How old are you?"

"14"

"Yeah, your definitely Nunu's daughter."

"Your wrong dumbass, just because I act like her doesn't me she's my mom. My mom is her twin, you doofus and stop making assumptions."

"Ok ok, sorry for assuming. Damn your mean."

"Your a stranger and I definitely won't be letting my guard down around you."

"Ugh, for the hundredth time, I'm not a stranger. I'm family and my name is CJ, short for Craig Jr."

"I don't even know a Craig Sr in my family, so your lying."

"Craig was the previous Royal leader before Uncle James. He was around before you showed up."

*scoff*

"Oh really? So then why don't I know about him??"

"I don't know but trust me, I'm not lying. You can even ask Nunu when she wakes up or if she ever wakes up."

*Thud*

*Groaning*

"Fuck! Whatchu do that for?!!"

"I'd like to hear you say some shit like that again, you better trust and believe I'll deliver my next hit right on that ugly face of yours. Oh and it's Janunu to you, only family can call her Nunu!"

I know I ain't just dreamed of Unique and CJ meeting, it sounded so real. It was like they were actually in my presence. But that's impossible, CJ died in the house fire...along with his siblings and parents.

Opening my eyes, I stared at the bare ceiling and calmly laid still. It's great that I'm still alive but I have to remember that I'm still severely injured. Lifting my head to look at my laying body, I saw my upper half covered in bandages. There was barely any skin that can be seen. My whole abdomen and chest were wrapped in bandages, along with my hands.

My back felt stiff and I couldn't really move since I feel glued down to this bed.

I wanna know who treated my wounds?? It couldn't have been Unique, she doesn't have the materials to all of this. Hold up, better question, where is she? Where am I? And what happened to the army of men chasing after us?

I took in the silence of this house and the outside surroundings. It doesn't even sound like I'm in the woodlands, there's no tree leaves rusting, animal heartbeats or even animal noises.

Fuck did we get caught?? Am I in the professor's laboratory? Or am I in transit?

This is not good.
