I'm still trying to get this all through my head. Why is it so complicated?

"Hey. Are you ok?" Avery asks me,a concerned look on her face.

It just hit me so hard though. Why?

"Your going through a series of unfortunate events." Avery says. She sighs.

"Look,if you need an explanation of some sort,come talk to me,k?" She asks me. I nod,still wondering.
