~Lucy's POV

Erza, Gray and I were heading towards Mrs. Moon's town. We decided that Wendy, Carla and Happy would stay with her. Mrs. Moon was too emotional to go with us.

We promised we would bring her back. We sat in the train and Erza went to make a plan.

"So what's the plan, Erza," Gray said, leaning on one hand. She shrugged. "I don't know."

I stared at her in shock, she is the one to always make our plan. Gray couldn't keep his mouth shut. "What? You haven't got a plan? That's new."

Erza shot him a glare and he shrunk back in fear. "Shut your mouth." He immediately shut up. We arrived early and we walked through the town.

"Let's go to Mrs. Moon's house first," I suddenly spoke up. Gray threw me a look of disbelief. "Good idea, not like we haven't thought of it but—"

I smacked his head, effectively cutting off his sentence.

We went to the house and none of us were surprised that the door was closed. "So.. how do we come in without breaking anything?" Erza asked.

I felt in my pockets and found something. "By using the key?" It came out as a question. I looked at the key and know for sure I hadn't had one. Mrs. Moon probably put it in my pocket.

I opened the door and we looked around. Nothing out of ordinary downstairs. I heard noises coming from the kitchen. I slowly walked to it. The door was closed but I know for sure I heard a noise.

I opened it with a yank.

I gritted my teeth in anger.

"GRAY! Stop messing around and help us." I yelled at him. He was leaning on the table with a snow cone in his hand, busy eating it.

I walked to him and grabbed him by his ear. I yanked him with me and he was groaning the whole time. "Focus. This is a mission and you dare to not focus?"

"S-sorr- Ow! L-Lucyyyy," Gray whined. I tightened my grip on his ear. His face retorts in pain. "Are you going to get serious?" I asked sternly.

He nodded fast. "Yes m-ma'am."

We went to Elysia's room. It was a mess, there was clearly a fight here.

Well, a fight... a lot of movement. But nothing we could use as evidence or hint.

We went to the centre of the town and asked people if they noticed something weird.

Nothing.

"This person sure can leave no trace," Erza mumbled with her arms crossed. We were on a slope, sitting on the grass. Erza was leaning against a tree.

It was a sunny day and out was hot. We nodded. "What do you think they would do to them?" Gray asked, staring at the houses.

We shrugged. "Maybe wanting money?"

My stomach growled, making me remember I haven't eaten anything yet. "Guys, I'm going to buy some food. You guys want some?"

Erza nodded, a thankful smile on her face. "A sandwich please. Maybe a cake too if they have that."

I rolled my eyes, always cake. Gray chuckled, "No, but thanks Luce. I already ate."

My eyes fell to the ground and I gritted my teeth. "What's wrong?" Gray asked confused. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out. "Natsu called me that. Only he can call me that."

It's Natsu's nickname, and it will stay Natsu's. Gray put his hands up in surrender. "Sorry."

I waved him off and ran to the nearby shop. I bought some food for us all. My hands were full of everything.

The moment I walked out of the shop I dropped the food. I stared in shock what I saw. I heard the faint sound of the food falling on the ground.

The sky was pitch black. And it was just afternoon. I felt a wave of magic coming this direction.

I immediately jumped back and soon a white laser went just next to me. "Erza. Gray!" I screamed and ran to the hill.

No, they weren't there. I wildly looked around me. I ran through the town, searching for my friends.

I suddenly heard a loud scream echoing through town. I stood still, frozen.

That is Erza's scream. And her pain tolerance is seriously out of this world. Succeeding in making her scream that loud... I followed the sound and it I found myself by a academy.

I went inside. Everywhere around me I heard screams.

I went to the cafateria. "Hello," someone said wickedly when I entered.

I saw the missing children, all of them. I saw people enough for a big guild, they were clearly the kidnappers.

I saw Gray and Erza chained to the wall.

One man of them, probably the leader had a sword in his hand. I spotted Elysia in the crowd of tied children.

"Lulo!" she screamed through the cloth around her mouth. My mouth was hanging open but soon I gritted my teeth.

"What did you do to my friends?" I asked angrily.

I ran to them and shook them. They were unconscious. Cuts and bruises on their skin.

Cowards. They probably used a spell to knock them out and attacked them while unconscious.

They laughed evilly. "Good luck with waking them up, darling. The spell can last up to three hours."

I picked my key. "Cancer!"

He appeared. "What can I do for you -ebi."

I told him to attack those men while I picked my whip. I also summoned Capricorn while I ran to the kids. Their eyes were so wide. It broke my heart seeing it. No child deserves traumatic experiences.

Before I reached them I was pushed back. A man appeared in front of me with a smirk. "Hello miss," he was licking his lip. Disgusting.

Another man moved behind him and picked a random kid.

He had a knife in his hand. "Stop. What do you want?" No way I'm going to let him do something.

The man attacked me with a spell. Laser blasting because of a movement. He was the one who shot it when I was in the store.

I jumped back again. "Star dress; Capricorn form," I said lowly and immediately I transformed.

I managed to push some guys away, but they kept bouncing on me. My eyes widened when I saw a man holding a sword by a child's neck.

I immediately wanted to reach out to him, but I couldn't. People began blocking me. And the person was so close to the frightened child.

"Leave him alone," I yelled. I was pushed on the ground by a magic attack. My spirits tried helping me, but it looked like they were having troubles too.

"Lulo!"

The man brought the sword up, and was ready to swung it down.

"No!"

I closed my eyes on instinct, I couldn't watch it. I don't want to see a child's death in front of me. I could have prevented it, if only I was stronger.

When I felt no movement from the people holding me down I instantly kicked them in their weaknesses.

I opened my eyes to see Erza, covered in bruises but standing, blocking the sword with her own.

"H-how is this possible?" the man asked in shock. Erza glared. "I am immune to spells controlling me."

My eyes widened, of course. Her eye!

Then she made him unconscious by attacking his vital point.

I felt my spirits disappear. I looked around and saw two strong guys. They began using flexible magic and some hit me.

I wasn't fast enough. I hissed in pain and fell to the ground.

"Lucy!" Erza said and came running to me. One of the strong guys stopped her. He had also a sword.

Then the combat of them began. Erza needed to focus on that.

I tried to stand up, but was pushed down my someone standing on my back head.

"Bitch," someone spat and put a foot on my back, pushing it down fiercely.

Man that hurts. I yelled and was yanked by my hair.

What has everyone with yanking my hair?

He pushed me on the ground again and then attacked me with a punch spell. I rolled back and forth, clamping my side to ease the pain.

It was no use though.

I felt him back away from me. I was lying on my belly on the ground. I saw Erza had defeated her opponent while I was lying here down.

Jesus, I am pathetic, I really am.

"Lightning hamer!" The person roared and a lightning source of magic came to me. Erza saw that and ran towards me, but we both knew she would be there too late.

I couldn't move, at all. I couldn't move to avoid the blast. This can't be my end. I am the writer of my own ending, no way I would let it end here.

But I couldn't do anything. They used a spell to make me unable to move. Only my facial expressions were in tact.

It came closer and closer to me. "Lucy, hurry up and run!" I heard the faint calling of Erza.

I tried to get up, same result. No use. I closed my eyes, focusing my energy to the parts that were likely to get the most damaged.

"Say good bye, hoe."

I looked around for as far as I can. The children were safe, Erza managed to untie them somewhile back. Gray was safe.

I'm glad.

"Lulo!"

And then the lightning should have hit me, but I felt nothing.

I felt my body starting to react and I could move again. I looked in front of me and Natsu had blocked the attack along with Loki.

Natsu...

Natsu...

He came!

"Natsu?" I asked mostly in shock. I didn't expect him here. He was glaring at the person.

His members were slowly getting next to his side.

"Are you okay, Lucy?" Loki asked me. I nodded halfly. I was supporting my arm with my other arm.

"You came," I said in almost a whisper, barely audible.

"I'm here too," Loki said, having a smug grin plastered on his face. I didn't bother acknowledging his effort to turn the attention to him.

Natsu clicked his tongue. "Yes, I came. Loki forced me to."

His answer doesn't upset me. I know he lied. Loki smacked his head. "What the fuck are you saying? You were oh so scared Lucy would get hurt. You were working faster with forgiving yourself so you can live up to your promise."

Erza ran to my side and embraced me, "Sorry I didn't get here sooner." She turned to Natsu. "You forgave yourself?"

He nodded and knocked his knuckles. "And I'm about to give this man a beating. No way he can get away when he hurt you. I won't tolerate it. I'm sorry, I'm back now, I promise."

Finally an update... this chapter was so bad... I rushed it, sorry for that.

IMPORTANT: please guys, stop saying that I need to update. I know you guys mean it well, but it won't do anything. NO OFFENSE. I sure can update, if you guys want a 100 word chapter. Sometimes I lack inspiration so you guys need to wait patiently. I update when I update. Yes I know, I am the one to blame for the long time no update. But this is just a random book from a random person. I didn't plan the plot in detail at all. I don't know what I will write about. That's why it takes so long, bcz I don't have the creativity to think what I'll write next. Please just understand this...
