~Lucy's POV

I shook Natsu awake. The train finally stopped and we reached my hometown. He dramatically thanked the food God and kissed the ground.

Now we were walking on the Heartfilia ground. "I almost forgot your father is filthy rich," Natsu muttered, looking at the free ground we were standing on.

"I heard it," I said, making him look up. He shrugged and put his hands behind his neck. "You look really like your mother," he said.

I looked up sadly. Why did she have to leave me?

I felt his hand intertwining with mine. I looked at him as he gave me a small squeeze. We stopped at my mother's grave.

I heard Natsu's sharp inhale, looking at her grave. I forgot mum was his friend too at a time.

"I never thanked your mother for everything she did," Natsu spoke, looking down.

We stood there in silence, watching the statue of an angel.

I closed my eyes, thinking about all the good times with my mother. She was the one who played with me, the one who taught me how to summon spirits, the one who comforted me when I cried. Always her.

I miss her.

I haven't been here for so long.

Suddenly I heard faint sniffles coming from Natsu. I turned my head and saw his moist eyes he desperately wanted to hide.

"Are you crying?"

Natsu nodded his head slightly. He stepped forward, ignoring me for the rest.

"Layla..." he began, his voice low. "Thank you for everything."

I smiled, it wasn't a heart confession, but it was enough. Then he gave me a side glance with a soft smile.

"Also, thank you for raising Lucy. She turned out beautiful."

I turned red, looking down shyly. I fumbled with my fingers. Natsu came in front of me and grabbed my wrists.

I looked up. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead. I felt sparkles everywhere in my body.

"Can we leave please? Your father is looking out of the window and I get chills from him."

I looked at the window of my father's office. Surely, he stood there, watching us. I gave a small wave, hoping he changed a little bit.

Yeah... nope. He just turned around, ignoring me.

I withdrew my hand and bit my lip. Was it so hard to act like a father?

"Let's go," I said, too cheery to be real.

Natsu walked behind me, not saying a word, but I know he was concerned.

"Don't worry," I whispered. "I'm used to it."

We went to a cafe. "Lucy," Natsu whined. "I want to go to a restaurant! More food!"

I smiled. "Which of us has the money, hmm?" I asked and waved my money in front of him.

He snarled. "But it takes two in a relationship. You spend the money, I choose the place."

I chuckled. "It doesn't work that way, Natsu. And by the way, this isn't lunch. Just a snack."

"Ooh."

We soon got what we wanted to eat and went to a table.

"So..." Natsu began.

"Yeah..." I said. "You know I'm wondering this for a while," I said.

He raised his eyebrow, urging me to continue. He grabbed a whole piece of his snack and there it in his mouth.

"Is your pink hair natural?"

He dropped his snack and narrowed his eyes.

What did I do wrong? I remember the little girl Elysia. She was so sweet, but one time Natsu almost wanted to fight her. She said something and Natsu became mad.

Ooh. She said pink hair instead of salmon.

"Lucy," Natsu spoke slowly, threatening. I smiled sheepishly. "It was a joke," I said defensively.

It wasn't, but he didn't need to know that.

He grumbled. "It better be." He put his arm on the table, and I remembered the erased guildmark again.

"About that,"—I pointed to the empty spot on his arm—"never do that again. It's like declaring you won't be family anymore."

"Duly noted."

"I mean it. But I have to give it to you, it was clever."

He smiled at that. "Suppose that is the biggest compliment I could get regarding my intelligence."

I snorted. "Probably."

Suddenly two people came to us, both the same age, I suppose.

"Hey. This may sound strange, but we"—the girl gestured to herself and the boy next to her—"just met each other in real life. we wrote letters to each other and eventually wanted to meet each other. So here we are. We wanted to play truth or dare, but it is boring with only two people. Would you like to join?"

I shrugged, saying yes. They clapped delightfully, grinning at each other. I learned that their names were Nik and Hunter.

Nik was a sweet girl, talking about everything that came to her mind. Hunter on the other hand was quiet unless spoken to, listening carefully to Nik. Sweet, an introvert and an extrovert together.

We went to a park and sat in a circle. The first round was just the basic questions and simple dares, nothing special. During the game, more and more people joined and we were now with ten people.

All strangers to each other and around the same age.

"Truth or dare... you," I said and pointed to someone whose name is unknown.

"Natsu," the person introduced himself. I tilted my head. Natsu isn't a common name around here, and I'm pretty sure the person's name is not Natsu.

"Natsu from Fairy Tail?" a girl asked with wide eyes. Her name was Alice.

The boy nodded, smiling proudly. He didn't even look like my Natsu. He had brown hair and black eyes.

I heard Natsu snort, covering his mouth to prevent himself from laughing. He met my eye, an amused glint in it. We both said nothing, wanting to see where this was going to. I had covered my hand with gloves, it was cold. And Natsu still hadn't stamped the guild mark again.

"Either way..." I said, looking at him. "Truth or dare, Natsu?"

"Dare, of course," he said, grinning.

"I dare you to burn the cup in your hand."

He clicked his tongue, then burned it without a problem. So he is a fire user, but definitely not from Fairy Tail. I don't know whether he just want to have fun, or he uses it to manipulate other people.

But it sure makes it more exciting. Fake Natsu pointed to my Natsu, asking which one he chooses. Natsu chose dare.

"I dare you, pink haired guy, to kiss her," fake Natsu said and pointed to a girl.

"Whoa, hold up. I have a girlfriend," Natsu said, frowning. That's right. I love how he said it without hesitation.

"So? A dare is a dare."

If I dare you to kill yourself, would you do that, mister?

Natsu glared at him. "I won't do it."

"Boohoo. You're such a coward," fake Natsu taunted. Being loyal means being a coward? I raised my eyebrow, this person dares.

Natsu stood up and stroked up his sleeve. "I'm a coward?" he asked in disbelief.

Guess the party was over. I had fun playing with strangers, and most of them were nice. But damn, this guy just ruined the mood.

"You're the coward for using my name for something. I don't care if you're a good or bad guy, you're fake as hell."

The fake's eyebrows shot up and he looked at Natsu. "Your name?"

"I am Natsu from Fairy Tail."

"Prove it," someone in the circle said. Natsu tilted his head, laughing. "Why should I? He's the one who should prove it."

The imposter showed his right shoulder, and sure enough a pathetic remake of our guildmark was there. Then the girl next to him showed her hand, a pink guildmark being there.

Hold up... is that supposed to be me?

"I'm also from Fairy Tail, and I don't recognize you."

"Oh yeah? Who are you? Where do you live? What's the name of your dog? How many keys do you have?" I asked.

She looked a little thrown back, but quickly recovered. "I'm Lucy. I live in a small house. I don't even have a dog, though I have 10 zodiac keys."

"Show them," Nik said, clearly noticying something wrong.

"I don't have them with me," the girl said, shrugging.

I stood next to Natsu, smirking. "That's because you don't have them."

I removed my glove and showed my guildmark. The girl's face quickly drained of any color as she stared at my hand. "I'm Lucy from Fairy Tail. And you guys... are just imposters."

Their eyes widened in fear as they knew they were outnumbered, so they ran away.

Nobody said a thing for some time, processing what they saw.

Then Hunter broke the silence with a chuckle. Natsu walked over to him and they high fived.

"I don't know how stupid they are, but everyone knows Salamander has pink hair," Hunter said.

"What did you say?" Natsu growled, clenching his hands.

I rolled my eyes, jumped on his back and hit him. "Don't mind this idiot. He says his hair is salmon, but obviously that's a shade of pink, so still pink. He gets angry over that."

"Angry, huh?" Hunter smirked, along with Nik.

"Your hair is the ugliest pink I have ever seen," Nik taunted, trying to get a rise out of him.

It worked. Even though I was on his back, he moved forward swiftly and punched Hunter.

"Why me?" he groaned, clenching his stomach in pain. I thought Nik would be the one to run over to him, but this girl keeps surprising me. First I said she was sweet, then I discovered she has the good kind of bitch attitude. Don't mess with her, and she can be sweet, otherwise...

"I don't hit girls," Natsu said.

I snorted, sure.

Natsu ignored me and continued, "So the best way to get through Nik is by beating her boyfriend, you."

"Asshole," Nik said, but with an amused smile.

Natsu smirked and flipped his imaginary hair, in a bitchy way. The rest of the group laughed.

"So you guys are the famous Fairy Tail couple, huh?" Alice asked.

Famous? Couple? How the fuck do they know we're together? Then it clicked.

"Mira," Natsu and I muttered under our breaths. But we nodded.

"You guys are way more suited together than in the pictures," she said and grinned.

Then I was thrown off of Natsu's back and fell on the ground. I heard Natsu's scowl as he landed on the ground too.

"Which asshole did this?" Natsu spoke slowly and turned around, meeting a grinning Hunter.

"Payback."

Natsu jumped up and advanced towards him, a fist in the air. He was stopped by Nik who shoved him back. "Look, first time hitting my boyfriend was okay, funny even, but I won't let you mess with him."

"Ooh, fight!" Nathan of the group said. Then they chanted 'fight' over and over again. Nik advanced forward, taking Natsu off guard. He never thought she would try to attack him.

I swiftly moved and blocked her incoming punch, grabbing her hand tightly. "I won't let you mess with my boyfriend either."

We all grinned. Nik shook her arm out of my grip and laughed. "Fair, I guess."

"Hot," Natsu whispered to Hunter, trying to be secretive.

"Totally. But if they would fight, my girl is going to win."

Natsu snorted. "No way, Luce all the way," Natsu whispered again. "Hey! That rhymed!"

"No, it didn't," Nik and I both snarled back.

We glanced briefly at each other.

"Shit! They heard us," Natsu yelled in a whisper.

"I know! They're glaring at us because of you, idiot!" Hunter whispered. "Nik is scary when she's angry..."

"Same. I could compare Luce to red-head once angry."

"What—"

"Shut up!" I interrupted, glaring at Natsu.

He shrieked and jumped back, dragging Hunter along.

Nik shook her head, groaning in annoyance. "Boys are such idiots to be honest."

"Says the one who thought I was a psycho for eating Nutella with banana," Hunter countered.

"You psycho." I gasped.

"Well, I'm not dating a hot-headed freak. Where's the fun in him?" he mocked.

It didn't take me two seconds to be on Hunter, tackling him to the ground.

"Screw you," I cursed.

"I'm screwing Nik," he said cockily. I take the introvert thing back. He would be a high school jock if I had to place him somewhere.

"Hunter!" Nik exclaimed, I could tell by her tone she was flushed. It wasn't even true, cause they just met each other today, but that didn't take away the impact of his words.

"Good to know," I chirped before landing a soft punch to his jaw.

"Bitch, get off of me," he said and pushed me away.

"Better than a soap," I heard someone whisper.

"Whoa, nobody calls Lucy a bitch except me," Natsu exclaimed and tackled Hunter again.

They were rolling on the ground, throwing a punch here and there.

"Enough!" Nik yelled and jumped on them both, trying to seperate them.

I sighed, rubbing my forehead.

Soon more and more people joined the fight.

I walked forward, going straight into the fight. I grabbed Natsu and Hunter by the ear, dragging them out.

"Enough."

"But Luce—"

"I said enough!" I roared.

He gulped and looked at Hunter, who looked just as scared. Hunter leaned into Natsu's ear.

"I understand where you come from." Referring to the scary-me part.

"Learn how to whisper," I exclaimed dramatically.

Natsu squinted his eyes at me. "Learn how to respect our privacy, don't eavesdrop."

Touché, bud. Although, coming from someone with super senses, including good-hearing, it's kinda ironic.

Nik appeared from the fight, her whole hair disheveled. But overall she had a grin on her face.

The fight slowly died and people were talking again.

"That was fun!" she said and stretched out her hands. "Didn't have the freedom to do that in a long time."

I frowned. "What do you mean? You said you live by yourself."

She looked at me with a tilted head. "I was too busy with my work and other stuff to do fun things..."

Something wasn't right. Her tone was more guarded than first.

"What are you hiding, Princess?" Hunter asked, his eyes narrowed. He demanded an answer, his voice was threatening. He cares about her, I know he does.

"Nothing!" she shrieked and ran away.

Whoa! This escalated quick.

Natsu and Hunter immediately came up from their sitting positions and sprinted after her.

I quickly caught up with them. She hissed loudly when Hunter grabbed her by the arm, stopping her.

Hunter's eyebrows shot up. "I didn't even grab you that hard."

"Let go off me," she ordered, her voice indifferent.

Natsu's jaw tightened when he rolled up her sleeve. Both their eyes narrowed.

"Who gave you these bruises?" Natsu demanded.

I eyed her arms, big purple spots on her skin. I carefully rolled up her other sleeve, same bruises on it.

"What the fuck, Nik," Hunter exclaimed. "What happened?"

"I don't know! And even if I knew, I'm not spilling it."

I reached for her necklace, turning the emblem around. I gritted my teeth. The symbol of the dark guild that includes Eagle stood on it.

"Just say it!" Hunter screamed, looking her dead in the eye.

"I'm captured, okay?" she said, giving up. "Black Panther owns me. I have to do everything they say, so I get some meal and a roof above my head. Today was finally the day I could be alone in 2 years. I wasn't supposed to tell anyone, goddamnit. Happy? Are you fucking happy now?"

Hunter let go of her arm as he took a step back.

"Nik," I said, shocked from what I heard.

She took a step back, looking down and clenching her hands. Her voice grew softer, more upset. "And now they'd eventually know I told you, then I will lose my freedom all over again."

"Those bastards," Hunter breathed out, fury dancing in his eyes.

Natsu gritted his teeth and had a glare on his face.

Dark guilds keep surprising us.

Nik and Hunter grew on us. Even if we met them a couple hours ago, they are our friends.

"I would lose my freedom again," Nik repeated to herself. Her tough exterior crumbled and she was panicking.

"Hey, hey," Hunter rushed, noticing her tense position. "We will help you. I won't let them take you away from me. You're strong, remember that."

Her voice wavered when she spoke next. "So what? You don't know me. I'm completely powerless."

"Then show yourself to me," Hunter said. Then doubt appeared in his eyes.

"But what about those letters you sent? How could you do that?"

"I was delivering illegal stuff to someone else, wrote on the way and sent it. The address you responded the letters with was an old, abandoned house." She looked at us, worry in her eyes. "I like you all, I really do. But don't try to save me, you'd only be hurting yourself. I accepted it." Though she tried to come off strong, we could clearly see her vulnerability.

"No can do," Natsu said, looking at me for assurance.

I nodded.

"B-but—" she was cut off by Hunter slamming his lips onto hers.

I was a little surprised. I would never kiss someone who I just met, but then again, for every person different.

Hunter broke the kiss, breathing hard. "I like you, okay? I fight for what I want, and I want your happiness."

"Yeah!" Natsu shouted after him, adding to the spirit. I slammed my hand on my forehead, sighing. Way to ruin their moment, Natsu.

Doubt flashed across her gaze, but it was replaced with trust, and she slowly nodded.

"Then help me... please."

Yeah...

Hi ^~^ how are you guys?

I just got a volleyball match, lost 4-0 (we play four sets, not first to three) so yeah... mostly bcz we made some stupid mistakes. Yeah the opponent was pretty good, but we could have won some sets if we haven't made so many mistakes, so pretty disappointed. But it was sure fun.

Who's your fav (real) author? I really like Penelope Douglas and C.M Stunich. Their books are amazing.

I need to sleep earlier...
