Rayne's Life/Memories.

The heart will always remember what the brain forgets.

Alec was determined to make Rayne remember the memories she had with him and her sister including her best friends who would be over the moon to know that she was alive.

But not everyone wants a happy ending for them, including Alec's mother and Maya his ex-girlfriend.

When Raya/Rayne got home, she couldn't help but think of Alec. The way he was when he saw her.

Who are you? Will I ever get to know who I am?

She asks herself looking at the mirror. Rayne/Raya shook her head and decided to make a snack for her daughter before talking to her adoptive parents.

Maybe they would know something or even give a clue.

She thought to herself as she started preparing Jade's snack before she became cranky.

"Okay Jade eat while I go and talk to nana and papa, okay?", she tells her daughter who nods.

Rayne/Raya walked into her adoptive parents' room and knocked on their bedroom door.

"Come in", Nina says.

She opened the door to let herself into the room. Rayne/Raya greeted them.

"I wanted to ask you something very important. I hope you will be able to answer me" she told them.

They nodded for her to continue.

"Am I your real daughter?", She asked them.

Nina looked at her husband and nodded at him. It was time for her to know the truth.

"No, you aren't. We found you at the roadside bruised and unconscious. We took you o the hospital. We didn't know who you are but we knew that we couldn't leave you at the hospital alone", James explained to her.

"I understand but did anyone look for me?", Rayne/Raya asked them.

"No, dear. No one came to look for you. Why are you asking?", Nina replies to her.

"A man stopped me calling me Rayne. He said he is my fiancée and he had proof of it. He wants to meet me later in the afternoon at the café. I think I should go and see what he has. What do you think?", She explained to them.

"He might even be Jade's father", James said to them.

They agreed for her to go and see the man who might know more about her memories.

About who she is and for her to remember even if it's just a tiny bit.

The time for them to meet arrived Rayne/Raya wanted to leave her daughter home but she couldn't do that to her adoptive parents who are old and Jade is an energetic child so she took her.

She walked into the café to see that he was already there waiting for her to arrive.

They approached Alec who smiled at his family. His daughter even though he lost almost two years with her.

And Rayne who was his light to his darkness was right in front of him.

"Hey, am sorry to have kept you waiting. It's just that my parents are old and I couldn't leave them until I knew that they didn't need anything", she explained to him.

"It is okay. Have a seat. Here this is for you, princess", Alec says giving Jade a toy teddy bear.

"Thank you", Jade tells him taking the toy from him.

"Here I think this might help", he says placing the albums of pictures he has of them and her sister with her two best friends.

She opened one of them while her hands were shaking nervously.

The first picture was of her, her sister, and two best friends wearing pajamas and smiling at the camera.

The migraines started when she reached their picture together with him kneeling on one knee proposing to her.

"Did I say yes?", she asked him.

"Yes, you did. I was so nervous that you would say no because of who I am...."

"what do you mean?".

"Ray, before we got together, you were my secretary and I was the arrogant and annoying boss who would give you a hard time just to keep you with me in the office", he explained to her while nervously scratching his neck.

"So you used to overwork me just to keep me with you in the office. How did we....you know?", she asks him.

"Fell in love? Well, I fell in love with you because of the way you treated everyone. The way my father loved your baking and you are my Cinderella," he tells her handing her a magazine of them but she was wearing a mask and he wasn't. "This was at a new year and it was the night that I knew that you are the love of my life. You made me feel something I haven't felt in a while", he added smiling at her.

"How can you be sure that am the woman in the pictures? We may lookalike but I might not even be the girl in the picture", she asked him.

"You have a birthmark on your thigh. And you have a beauty spot on your back and other things I can't say in front of our daughter", Alec tells her pointing at Jade who was happily munching on her chocolate cupcakes.

"Umm...yeah. I understand," she says blushing while seeing Alec smirking at her. She knew what he described to her was correct. She did have them.

"So do you believe me, now?", he asks her.

"I don't know what to believe anymore. I have questions that need answers but who will answer them," she explained to him her concerns.

"I can try to answer them. Ask me anything", Alec tells her. Rayne/Raya nodded and took a deep breath.

"What happened to me?", she asked him. Alec knew that he couldn't lie to the woman he loved and the mother of his child who was alive and right in front of him.

Alec explained to her everything but he left out the part that Maya wanted her dead. He knew that if she knew she would run from him and he couldn't have that now that he had found her.

"I am sorry that I didn't look for you. I was told that you had died in the explosion of the car. Your sister couldn't stop crying and wanting you. I am sorry Ray for everything that You have been through. Dad was right about you. You are someone that can light up a room by just walking in", he tells her while holding her hand to his.

Rayne/Raya felt comfortable holding Alec's hand. She felt like she knew him but couldn't remember.

"I guess you are my fiancee, right?", She asked him smiling.

"Yes, you are and she is our daughter. We got drunk and forgot to use protection....."

"Stop", she told him blushing covering her face with her hair. "How about we take things slow, is that okay with you?", she asked him. Rayne/Raya needed to know more about her life, and her past, and her daughter needed her father.

"Sure, I could do that for us", Alec agrees with her and kisses her hand.

"Okay, we have to go now. I have to go and see how Nina and James are. Would like to come with us?", she asked him.

"Sure, I would love to".

The three got up from the table and walked out of the café. Alec opened the door to his car to let Rayne inside with their daughter.

But what they didn't know was someone was watching them. They were angry to see her alive and with a daughter.

"I thought I had gotten rid of you but you are back. I will get rid of you again even if it's the last thing I do", they say walking towards their car and driving away.
