The Plan To Take Down Maya.

Alec knows exactly what to do about the plan but he knows that he will set a trap for Maya and that will involve using Rayne as bait.

Rayne was ready to do whatever it took to get Maya punished for what she did to her.

"Are you sure about this? I know that it would be hard for you but dad is right about this. We need a bait and...."

"Yeah I know that. And I know that this is too risky but it needs to be done. So trust your dad and the police to get Maya", Rayne tells Alec making him calm down.

As the days went by, it was time for the plan to be in place. Rayne was supposed to be alone in her bakery so that Maya could kidnap her as she had planned.

Everything was set to go according to plan. The police were already on stand-by if anything were to happen they would be there to save her.

Alec was at the back alongside his father while Jade was with Rayne's sister and her best friends.

When they found out that Rayne was alive they didn't want to let her out of their sight so they insisted on making Jade stay with them.

"Hey, welcome. What can I get you?", Rayne says to a customer while keeping an eye on the door waiting for Maya to arrive.

Within a few minutes, Maya walked in without any care in the world.

She walked straight to Rayne who knew that she couldn't let her see how nervous she was.

"Don't worry, I am always beside you", Alec says through a small earpiece in Rayne's ear.

"Well, I was right. You are alive. I should have killed you myself and made sure that you are dead. But that's okay, because there will always be a second chance to do that, right now", Maya says pulling a gun and pointing it at Rayne's.

"I have one question. Why? Why do all of this?", Rayne asks her.

"You took everything from me. The man I loved...."

"You mean the money he has. The money that you loved spending on your lover. The same lover that you send to kill me. I have to ask where he is now?", Rayne says surprising Maya and Alec altogether.

Alec didn't know that she had gotten all her memory a few days ago.

"It seems you have a voice now. Anyways, there arent any witnesses so this will be easy", she says looking around the bakery.

As she was about to pull the trigger, the police, Alec, and his father barged in just in time.

"Stop, we have you surrounded", the chief says to Maya who just smirks at them.

As Alec tried to move toward Rayne when Maya pulled the trigger.

One of the police shoots her hands making her drop the gun. But when she saw Rayne on the floor holding Alec's head on her lap.

Maya wasn't aiming at Alec but at Rayne.

"If I cant have him, neither can you", she says as the police arrest her.

But what they didn't know was that Alec had a bulletproof jacket on.

"That wasn't even a good shot, Maya. Maybe your aim is off", Alec says getting up from the floor and making everyone shocked. "You should work on your aim, wait you can't. Not anymore", he added while pulling Rayne into his arms.

"I thought I lost you", Rayne says to Alec with tears in her eyes.

"You will never lose me. Not now and not ever", he says kissing her.

They watched as Maya was taken to the police car. The nightmare was finally over for both Alec and Rayne.

It was time for them to get Jade and be happy but they had to do one thing before they did that.
