Rayne.

It was one of those days when someone might feel overwhelmed by the things or people around. Raya was at her bakery, ready to start her morning without any hassle, which is what she thought, but unfortunately, that wasn't it.

Ever since that day, she woke up from a coma, she hasn't been the same as she was before. She was given the name Raya by the people who took her in after she was discharged from the hospital. She had nowhere to go. The old man who found her took her home, where he lived with his wife.

Unfortunately for the old couple, they didn't have any kids, so they took Rayne as their own, but without any memories, they named her Raya.

They helped her build the bakery from scratch when they discovered she loved baking and was great at it. Maggie and Tom helped her finance it just to help her startup. This was almost a year ago.

It was a day like any other for Raya, but one customer made it different from other customers with his order and the way he saw her.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up an order, and it is two dozen cream puffs and a box of macarons," says Jake, who always ordered from this bakery but would send one of his maids to get his order.

"Let me get that for you, and don't worry, it has already been paid," says the lady behind the counter, who hasn't shown herself yet.

He was standing there, looking around the bakery. He could sense that he knew this woman who was behind the counter, but she still hadn't shown herself.

"Sorry for the delay, and here you go," says Rayne, handing him the boxes. When he turned to take them, he was shocked to find who was standing there in front of him.

Rayne.

"How is this possible?" he stammered. But Rayne was perplexed because she had no idea who this man was.

"I am sorry, sir, but I think you have made a mistake, but my name is Raya, not Rayne," says Raya/Rayne to Jake, who looked as if he was going to pass out.

He was so sure that this was none other than Rayne, his son's love. But how did she survive the accident?

"I'm sorry again, and please excuse me," says Jake, who was still shocked to see Rayne alive. He needed to get to the bottom of what happened and who was buried as Rayne.

Raya/Rayne couldn't figure out why the customer had given her the name Rayne. She lost her memories and was found by Maggie and Tom, who took care of her while she was in the hospital.

The accident caused Raya (or Rayne) to lose her memory of who she was. The people who took care of her treated her as their daughter. When Jake reached home, he was so deep in thought that he could not concentrate on what his wife was telling him. All he could think about was Rayne. He needed to tell Alec, but he knew that his son wouldn't believe him until he saw her with his own eyes.

"What's going on with you?" asks his wife, who saw Jake looking at Rayne's picture with their son.

Jake didn't know what to tell her, but he needed to make something up very soon.

"It's nothing; I'm just worried about our son, and he has been cold and distant to us," he explained to Amanda, his wife.

"I told you that he should be with Maya, who is good for him."

"Are you serious right now, you do know that Maya is the one who is responsible for his state right now, and she caused the accident that happened and killed Rayne, who is the love of your son's life?" Jake exploded at her.

"We have no proof of that."

"I have plenty of proof, but your son is the noble one who doesn't want to make a scene in the media," he explained to her, hoping she would drop the suggestion that Alec is with Maya.

Meanwhile, Rayne (or Raya) has been getting migraines since that customer called her Rayne. She didn't know what was happening, and she needed to ask her adoptive parents how they knew her.

Answers are what she needs, but what happens when they can't answer her?
