The knife was pushed out of my hands and I was pulled into someone's arms.I looked up and through my tears,I saw a sad looking Erza."Don't.Just don't."She said after I opened my mouth to speak.I just looked down sadly,knowing everyone would hate me now.It was probably for the best anyways.Better to hate me now then leave me later,right.
*25 minutes later*
I was sitting on the couch waiting for everyone(Erza,Juvia,Wendy,Levy,and Leo) to come out from the room next door,which was the dining area.I couldn't hear them because the door was closed,making their voices muffled.I was playing with my fingers currently and I had my knees to my chest.Everyone soon came out of the dining area and they set a piece of paper in front of me.I gave them a confused look as Juvia handed me a pen."Sign it."Leo says angrily.I looked at the paper and wrote my signature where the line was.As soon as I did that a watch appeared on my wrist."You will arrive home at 10 p.m each day and no later than 10 p.m.If you are not home by 10 p.m,you will automatically be teleported home by the watch.Nod your head if you understand this."Erza started and I nodded,slightly worried for my safety.'I'm worried too.With the look on their faces they aren't messing around.'The voice says and I mentally agreed with it."No objects that can potentially hurt you or others will be in five feet of you.You must have one person monitoring you while you are out and you must not go above 15 meters from that person.Nod again if you understand."Levy continued and I nodded again.Then they all smile as if they didn't just almost scare the crap out of me."Ok.Now go upstairs and get some rest."Wendy said and I ran up the stairs and to my room.I laid down and pull the covers over me and turned on my side.I closed my eyes and exhaled deeply.I think if I listen hard enough,I could hear their conversation.
"Why is she like this?D-Did we do something wrong?"I heard one of them say."She'll get better,right?"Another asked and I decided to stop listening."It was never your fault guys."I said,opening my eyes.I rubbed my eyes and shook my head."I'll try harder,I promise."I told them and laid back down.I'll try to go to sleep now.Five minutes later,I fell into a deep sleep.
*Morning*
I woke up to my alarm clock beeping loudly in my ear.I groaned and started banging on my alarm clock.When it was shut off,I rolled out of bed,only to feel carpet meet my face."Good morning floor.I see you're welcoming me like always."I said before getting off the floor and dragging myself to the bathroom,tripping over my feet a couple times.I brushed my teeth and washed the sleep off of my face.I walked out the bathroom after taking my bath.I put on my clothes,which is a pair of blue tights and a long sleeve red shirt.I walked to the door,but stopped when I see a paper taped to it.
"With this contract,you will follow all orders with no complaints.There are certain conditions to which you must follow.You are not allowed to stay out or leave the house after 10 p.m.If you are out later than the acquired time,the watch on your wrist will automatically teleport you home."I said and took a deep breath."Someone will be monitoring you at all times.If and/or when they are not watching you,you may not go 15+ meters from them.If you do,a consequence will be ordered.Objects that can fatally harm you will not be in five feet of you.When sharp objects,like knifes,are needed,you will have someone else use it for you."I read and took another deep breath."If none of these rules are followed,you will receive a consequence.Consequences include:No phone/music,no tv,no fighting,and no ice cream for a week.Each time you break the rules,another week will be added to your punishment.This will go on until we believe you are safe and free from any danger.We are only doing this for your well being and we care about you very much."I finished and rubbed my throat."I better not break the rules then because they don't seem to trust me anymore."I responded and walked out of the room and downstairs.
When I got to the living room,Levy was sleeping on the couch.She looked very cold.'Probably because she doesn't have a blanket you idiot!'The voice screams at me,making me flinch and look down.I walked back upstairs and got a blanket for her and walked back downstairs and put it over Levy.She stopped shivering a snuggled into the couch.I walked into the kitchen and looked through the fridge to see we have nothing to eat.I was about to walk out the house but stopped myself because 1)I didn't have any shoes on and 2)the contract.I sighed and closed the door and walked back to the couch.I didn't want to wake her up but I was really hungry.But levy was way more important than me so I should just leave her until she wakes up.
I turned to walk away until I felt a hand grab my wrist.I looked back to see Levy with her eyes still closed."What do you need,(y/n)?"She asked and I tried to pull my wrist away but she wouldn't let go."I-I didn't want to wake you...so I wa-wanted to wait until you woke up..."I said quietly and watched as she sat up."Well I'm up now,so what do you need?"She asked again and I shook my head."I can wait...y-you still look tired.You should go back to sleep."I tried to convince her to which she gave me a suspicious look."I'm fine.What is it?"She asked cautiously and I hung my head down a little bit."I-I was hungry and...there was no food,but I'm not that important...s-so just rest up."I said,smiling lightly.She sighed and got up,a sign that she was clearly annoyed with me (I think).I grabbed my shoes from they the door and put them on,grabbing my keys,money and shopping list that,conveniently,was on the table next to the kitchen sink.Probably forgot that it was there.Levy walked out the door and I quickly locked the door and caught up to her,not wanting to make her mad.After a couple minutes of silence,I decided to speak up."Levy-chan,are you mad at me?"I asked quietly.All she did was sigh and ignore me.I felt the tears coming on and looked down."Ok Levy-san."I continued and kept quiet from there.
When we made it to the market,I turned to Levy."Is it ok if I go get some things?"I asked and she nodded.I walked to the meat stand and picked out a couple of fish,letting the man clean it and put it in a bag,and paid for it.After going to a few stands,I was looking for Levy,counting the feet from where I first came from.I was looking at the shopping list when I bumped into something.I fell down,dropping my bags in the process.I sighed and started picking up the bags,until I felt a hand on mines.I looked up and saw a pair of red eyes looking down at me.I felt the heat rush to my face once I realized who it was.
"Do you need help?"He asked with a small smile on his face.I nodded quickly and he helped me pick the bags up.I got up of the floor and bowed to him."I'm sorry Rouge-san.I really didn't mean to bump into you."I apologized quietly and I heard him chuckle."It's alright (y/n)-san."Rouge answered and I looked up at him and tilted my head."How's it been?"He asked and I inwardly panicked."U-Um...it has been great.How about y...you."I replied,pushing my index fingers together."It's been fine.Frosch kept asking about you.If only she was here though."He said with a sad look.I felt the concern come onto my face and put the bags down to the floor,putting my hand on his shoulder after that.It felt like his body went stiff."Is she ok?"I asked and he nodded."Yeah,she just broke her paw."He said and I hugged him."Well don't be sad about it...She'll get better soon."I told him,shocked at what I was doing.I heard him suck in a breath and slowly put his arms around my waist.
After a couple seconds,he let go and looked down."U-Uh...thanks fo-for that..."He muttered quietly and I gave him a closed eyed smile."Your welcome Rouge-kun.Is it alright if I call you that?"I responded,putting my hands on his shoulder,and he looked at me in shock,but nodded."I have to go,but I'll see you later."I said,kissing his cheek before picking up my bags and running back to Levy.'Wait?What did I just do?'I thought as I felt my face turned red.I shook my head quickly,getting rid of my thoughts.When I found levy,I tapped her on her shoulder.She looked up from her book and I held up the bags.She started walking back to the house and I quickly followed her.Once we got to the house,I unlocked the door,letting levy go in first before closing and locking the door behind me.I walked into the kitchen and set the groceries on the counter.Walking to the fridge,I started unloading everything and putting the things in their respective places.
Once finished,I washed my hands and walked back into the living room to see Levy reading her book."Levy-san..."I said quietly.She didn't answer."I-I'm sorry...I'm sorry I've been a disappointment to you.E-Everything is just...I'm sorry."I told her and started walking upstairs.When I got to my room,I sat on my bed and brought my knees up to my chest.This is what I wanted right?To know what they've think of me.To know that they'll want to leave me.But...why do I feel so lonely?
