When I woke up,I felt a pain in my neck.I then remembered what happened last night and sighed.Getting up,I walked into the bathroom,and brushed my teeth.I pulled the curtain back and turned on the water.Stripping slowly,I felt my bruises and cuts stretch,making me whimper slightly.I got in the tub and pulled the curtain back to its original spot.I just stood there,under the water,not wanting to move.I looked down and my hands thinking about my life.About what my dad did to me,about how my life changed when I met Fairy Tail.It's crazy how fast things can change.

I sighed,and took a shower,and turned the water back off.I grabbed the towel to dry off,changing into my underwear afterwards,and walked back into my room.I walked to the closet,and searched for a pair of clothes.I picked out some jean shorts,with a long sleeved white shirt that covered half my neck.I also picked out some tights and put the outfit on.I grabbed my socks and put them on too,with some white combat boots.I went back into the bathroom and looked into the mirror.The shirt wasn't enough to cover the bruise.I tried moving my shirt to cover my neck,but it still wasn't enough.I just sighed,and just left it.What's the point when no one cares?I walked out the house,grabbing my pouch with my lacrima that I use to make calls,which is called a phone,my headphones and a charger for the phone,along with my belt,with my zodiac keys attached to it.I walked toward Fairy Tail,looking at my hands.Why am I still here?Why haven't I just left already?
'Because you still care about them.'The voice smugly says.I sighed,knowing it was right.

"Frosch wants to know if something is wrong?"I heard a voice say.I looked up but didn't see anyone.I looked down,and saw a green cat in a pink frog suit.I had to admit,it was one of the cutest things I have seen.
"Yeah...I'm fine."I said sadly.
"Frosch doesn't think so."The exceed said and I looked at her in shock.
"How did you-"I was cut off by her.
"You didn't look Fro in the eyes when you said that and it seems like you say it a lot."She said and the shocked look came back on my face.I guess I have been saying that a lot.I'm not even sure if I'm lying or not when I say it myself.I bend down to her height and smiled.
"My name is (y/n).What's yours?"I asked smiling lightly.
"Fro name is Frosch."She answered,giving me a closed eyed smile.
"Well Frosch,what are you doing here by yourself?"I asked holding my hand out to her in a kind gesture.She climbed onto my hand and on my shoulder.
"Fro is lost.Fro can't find her master."Frosch said looking sad.
"Well how about I help you find him.My guild won't worry that much."I said as the happy look returned to her face.
"(Y/n) would really help Fro find him?"She asked excitedly and I nodded.
"Sure.So where was the last time you saw him?"I asked and Frosch told me where she was at before.We walked around town,until she led me to the town square,where there were lots of people,making it seem like it would be harder for Frosch to recognize him."So Frosch,where to?"I asked at the little exceed,only to find out that she fell asleep.It was so cute.I guess I'll just have to find him myself.She told me his name was Rogue so I'll just have to go with that.
'With no idea how he looks.Yeah we'll definitely find him.'The voice says.Then how in the world am I suppose to find him?I walked around,looking at Frosch every once in a while,making sure she didn't fall off.
While I was looking at her,I bumped into someone,causing me to fall down.I quickly grabbed Frosch shielded her from the ground.She woke up and looked at me wide eyed."Frosch are you ok?"I asked,checking for injuries while picking us up off the floor.
"Fro is fine."She said and I looked up at the person I bumped into.
"Sorry.I wasn't watching where I was going.Please forgive me."I said bowing quickly.
"No worries...Frosch!"He said and Frosch face lit up.
"Rogue!"Frosch yelled and jumped out my arms and into his.
"Fro thought Rogue disappeared and left Fro alone."Fro said sadly and it made my heart break.
"Well Frosch,I'm glad you found your master.It was nice meeting you."I said and started walking away.
I felt something on my leg and looked down to see Frosch.How did she move that fast?
"Fro thanks (y/n) for helping Fro find Rogue."She said letting go and I bent down to her height and smiled.
"No problem.I was glad to help."I said and hug her lightly.
"Fro has a question."She said and I let her go.
"What is it?"I asked as she smiles innocently.
"Before Fro fell asleep,Fro saw a blue-purple thing on (y/n)'s neck.What was that?"She asked and I felt a feeling of dread come to my stomach.
"I-It's nothing Frosch.I promise."I said,quickly returning the smile on my face.She frowned,but left it like that.I got up and started walking away when I heard a voice.
"WAIT!"I heard Rogue shout and I turned around and watched as he ran up to me."How about I get you something to eat.To reward you for bringing Frosch back to me."He said gesturing to the green exceed.
"I don't know...I don't think it's necessary."I said cautiously.
"No,I insist."He pestered and I sighed but nodded anyways."I'm Rogue."He said holding out his hand.
"(Y/n)."I said shaking his hand.When I was about to pull my hand away,he started to pull me away from the crowd of people."H-Hey!Where are we going?!"I asked him frantically,surprised by the sudden action.I was still cautious about him so I wasn't going to open up that easy.
"We're going to go eat."He said as Frosch flew to my shoulder.
"Fro says don't worry because Rogue is usually not like this."She whispered and I sighed.
"I heard that!"Rogue yelled and a giggle escaped my lips.It was a sound so foreign to me now.I don't remember the last time I actually laughed.I covered my mouth as Rogue glared at me.But it wasn't like a mean glare,it was...playful.Was he being nice?
'It's not possible.No one will be nice to you.'The voice said and I frowned.We stopped a couple seconds later and I looked up to see an ice cream shop.
"But I thought the ice cream shop doesn't open until noon."I questioned and he looked at me weirdly.
"It's already 1 o'clock."He said and I looked to Frosch.
"I was really helping you that long?"I asked and she shrugged.
"Fro gets lost easily."Fro said as if she doesn't have a care in the world.
"Fine..."I said and he took my hand and we walked into the shop.We walked to the counter and I saw the lady from yesterday.She was wiping the counter while humming a tune happily.
"So what do you want to get?"Rogue asked and I looked at the menu.
"Chocolate shake please."I said politely.He nodded and turned to Frosch,who fell asleep."Why does she always fall asleep on me?"I asked and Rogue laughed.He ordered what he wanted along with my order.A couple minutes later later,we got our orders and I drunk the shake happily."Thanks Rogue."I said after swallowing.
"No problem.It's the least I can do."Rogue said and continued drinking his shake.
"So (y/n),tell me about yourself."Rogue suggested as we sat at a table.
"Well,I'm 16,I like animals,cats for example,um...I absolutely love ice cream,reading,video games and swimming.How about you?"I explained to/asked him."Well there's not much to tell...uh,I like food,who doesn't,my exceed Frosch,video games as well,and helping people."Rogue answered and I half smiled.What cheesy answers.
"So you're kind of like me."I said and he laughed.
"I just want to thank you for helping Frosch get back to me."Rouge said,and I looked at the exceed on my shoulder.
"No problem.She was just too cute not to help."I said picking her up lightly and holding her out to Rouge.He grabbed her and put her on his lap.
"I guess she has that effect on everyone.She gets lost so easily though."He said and pet her on the head.
"I know how you feel.I use to take care of children at my homeland and they would always get lost somehow when they were right next to me."I said playing with my hands.Rogue smiled at me,which made me smile back.
Why is he making me feel like this?I feel like I'm actually happy again.Is this some kind of magic?Or am I actually happy?No that can't be it!I'm faking it!I must be faking it!...Yeah I'm faking it.Thats right I'm not happy.I can never be happy.
"(Y/n)..."Rogue said in a worried voice.
"Hm?"I said snapping my attention to him.
"You were spacing out.Are you ok?Was what I was talking about too boring?"Rogue asked and I shook my head quickly.
"No!No!No!I was just thinking that's all!"I said quickly.Shoot,I just ruined a perfectly nice chance of a person being nice to me.Maybe.
"So what were you thinking about?"He asked and I inwardly panicked.
"Um...it's nothing important really."I said,giving him a half smile.He gave me a cautious look but let it go.
"Well (y/n),I have to get going...thanks again for finding Frosch."He said putting money on the table and picking up the,still sleeping,cat.
"No problem...wait!"I said before he could walk away.He turned around with a questioning look.
"Will I...Will I see you again?"I asked feeling my face heat up.He smiled and nodded.
"Yeah,you will."He answered,before walking away.I looked at the table and saw a napkin with writing on it.I opened it up and saw it was a number.'XXX-XXX-XXXX.Call me-Rogue.'.I smiled and put the note in my pocket.I walked out of the restaurant and to the direction of the guild with a smile on my face.Today was actually a good day.
