Sea blue eyes stared back at her. Her breath hitched as she recoiled, when did he get to sit beside her?

When you got lost in thoughts.

Oh yeah,if not for me talking sense into you, you probably could've been a living mistake. Gosh every decision you make is a mistake.

She kept her lips in a thin line as she shoved her thoughts to the back of her mind and listened to the teacher.

" ......poem that explains how you feel",she heard her teacher say ."Don't take this as some random assignment .It is very necessary, take it as a joke and you loose fifteen percent of your grade marks".

"Here comes a job for you, Maggie",Edward yelled throwing a balled paper over to her so it hit the back of her head.
The class burst out laughing. Well all except a few nerds, Wendy included and her best friend.

"That is not funny",Wendy stated in fury."She is not even a nerd. Just because she puts on some big glasses doesn't make her a nerd ",she fumed. "If all nerds got twice her grades then I'm not by any means a nerd. I cannot be placed on the same category as she,it's an insult to me".

Emma turned towards Maggie then back at Wendy. "She's leaving",she stated with a blank expression.

"Who cares if she leaves?",Wendy yelled.

"Yea,she probably needs some time alone",Justin said with a small smile.

"You don't get it",Emma hissed. "Did you see the way she stared at me before leaving? Stay out of this anyway, it's none of your business",she said rising up.

She felt creeped out, everything just didn't feel right. The way she glared at her, it was like there was a message for her. And she was going to find out what it was.

    Hurriedly she swung her bag over her shoulders. "Aren't you coming with me?",she threw over her shoulder.

"I hate that girl",Wendy said through gritted teeth as she took her books off the table along with her bag.

"I could come too you know",Justin said a little hope rising in his heart.

"Don't bother",she said and walked out of the classroom squeezing his heart till it dropped and stopped beating.

   "I think I love you Emma, I just hope you'd give me a chance. Just one chance",he whispered quietly to himself as his fingers skimmed through a ring shaped to look like the head of a roaring lion.

  Their teacher called after the two girls but they moved on,never looking back despite the teacher's warning.

  "You're quite aware we have a two hours detention afterwards, right?",Wendy asked as she increased her pace to meet up with her friend.

"Yeah, whatever",Emma said absentmindedly as she looked round the empty hallway,"where did she go".

  "She's probably outside heading home or hidden among the stalls, which ever I think you should....."

  "Check outside and I'll check in",Emma said pushing her aside as she hurried away.

  "Why do you want to find her anyway?",Wendy asked annoyed. But no reply came as Emma was long gone.
 
   She huffed,'What could the creepy freak have done to make Emma feel the urge to find out more?',she wondered.

  Slowly she made her way out of the school. If Maggie wasn't out then she was going back in for a proper explanation from Emma.

   Emma gritted her teeth as she searched the stalls one by one. First she made a total stranger her friend ,then just when she thought things were going to be fine she found someone stalking her. As if that wasn't enough Maggie got attacked during class by the populars and all she could do as she left the class was to give her a deadly look and one of her bitchy smiles that said,"you are in for trouble girl, big one at that".

   "what's going on",she huffed frustrated as she made her way out. Thoughts of Eva always being there for her flooded her mind."Why'd you have to leave me".

  The door closed behind her as she blinked back stray tears.

  Danger

  She could sense it. Her eyes snapped open, a pair of soul piercing brown eyes stared back at her. She shrieked, her heart going faster as her head flooded with thoughts. She could feel his hand tighten around her mouth as he pushed her back into the washroom.
