Hey guys,

So I know this is a late authors note but since I've just completed the sequel to this book I felt like this was the right time to say this.

Since I've got a lot of hate on this book, I wanted to explain that this book is all about character development. A lot of people don't like the way Adrian is in this book and the fact Jordan forgives him, but this isn't a 'normal' situation as you will see when you hopefully read on.

It wouldn't just happen to anyone and everyone, it's a unique situation to these characters so please don't judge too hard and just read and enjoy the book.

⚠️I would also like to warn you that this book does contain domestic violence, mental health and suicide and mentions of rape too. ⚠️

Again, this is about character development and I'm not trying to glorify or romanticise these issues in absolutely any way.
