Chapter Six : Shadow

(In The Morning)

"Shadow! Shads! D.K!" I groaned, turning over in my bed

"What do you want, Bat?" I questioned her, knowing that it was her voice.  I heard her hmph

"Knuckles invited me to hang out with him and his friends today and you know I hate being around people I don't know every well. So you're coming with me." I growled and turned onto my back, looking at her

"Do I really have to? I mean, you'll have Knuckles, Blaze, and Silver. It's not like you'll just have Knuckles there with you." I told her, sitting up in my bed

"We're going to hang out with Amy." My ear twitched instantly at the sound of her name, that I didn't even know it did until I heard Rouge's laughter

"Oh my Chaos! You hang out with her once and you start developing feelings for her!?" I blushed madly at that and didn't know why. I shook my head and jumped out of my bed

"T-That's obscured!" Oh shit I stuttered. Rouge looked at me in shock

"You really do have a crush on her..." Rouge mumbled. I sighed and rubbed my hand over my face, getting up and going to my bathroom

"Go wait in the living room, I'll get dressed and then we can leave..." Was all I said to her before watching her nod and walk out of my room. I groaned in frustration because I knew she was right. In a matter of a few hours, Amy was able to cause me to have a crush on her. I'm actually quite surprise about it because no female has been able to catch my attention. It threw me off guard who it happened though. Before  I knew it, I was ready to go, standing with my keys in my hand and my phone, placing my wallet in my pocket

"Shadow, you ready!?" My ears twitched at the sound of my name. I blinked and shook my head, walking to the living room

"Yeah, let's go." Rouge replied to me, walking out of my house. I slowly followed her, my mind swarming with thoughts

"Hey, are you okay?" She questioned as I walked beside her flying figure, following her

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" I raised an eyebrow

"Weeelll, I've never seen you act this way." She replied. I sighed

"Too be honest Rouge, I'm everywhere. I just now realized that I had feelings for her even though, you know, I only hung out with her once a-and, it's crazy.." Since when did I ever speak my feelings so naturally? I'm probably just confused and you know, Rouge knows a lot about this stuff

"Well Shadow, stuff happens. I'm actually quite happy that you have feelings for Pinky. It's been a good while since you've been in a relationship." I rolled my eyes at her words, but knowing that she was right. It's been a while since I've had a girlfriend

"We're here." She interrupted my train of thought. I shook my head and seen that we were in front of seemed to be Knuckles' house. Rouge grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the door, opening it since it was for some reason unlocked

"We've arrived!" Rouge announced happily, walking into the house before I did. I followed her in and closed the door behind us. I looked around the room, thinking that I'd see faker and the rest of his friends, knowing that I was really just looking for Amy. I blushed at that thought, wanting to facepalm, but resisted the temptation. On second thought, looking around, I couldn't find Amy or Sonic anywhere. Where were they? I thought everyone was meeting up

"Well let's go get Amy and Sonic. We can go to the mall or something, maybe even just go to the park." Tails stated

"Amy's house is closest so we'll grab her up first." Blaze pointed out. Silver had came up to me and put one of his arms over my shoulders. Everyone exited the house and started walking towards the way of Amy's house. Everyone had small talk, Blaze and Silver speaking to me every so often and Rouge flirting with Knuckles nonstop. She looked happy though so I really had no reason to bother them

"Amy! Come on!" Rouge was knocking on the door with Blaze shouting for the girl to come out. It didn't take long for the door to open, but it wasn't Amy at the door. What in the Chaos was Faker doing here!!

"What are you doing here, faker?" I growled a bit, the tips of my ears burning. He yawned and shrugged his shoulders. He looked like he had just woken up. Did he sleep over here last night? What did him and Amy do?

"Calm down, Shads." Rouge mumbled to me, patting my arm. I took a deep breath and noticed that everyone was inside the house. Rouge and I walked in and I seen Amy walk into the living room wearing a black short sleeping gown. I blushed as my eyes widened a bit. In the corner of my eye, I could see Faker and his face held the same expression mines did

"Oh Shadow! I didn't know you were coming with us!" I suddenly felt arms around me. I looked down and seen Amy hugging me with her head in my chest. I blushed a bit and was about to hug her back when I heard a quick growl. I frowned and looked over at Faker, glaring at him

"Problem Faker?" I questioned, venom laced within my voice. He was getting on my nerves. He annoys me so much

"Yes actually, why are you even here? Since when did you have friends?" Faker snarled at me. I growled loudly, but I stopped once I felt Amy pulling away from me

"Can you two just drop your rivalry for just today? I wanna be able to hang out with you guys today." Amy somewhat pleaded, looking over at Faker and then looking at me. I looked into her eyes and caught myself falling. Were her eyes always this beautiful and memorizing?

"Sure Ames, I'll knock the rivalry for today. How about you, Shads?" I shook my head at the sound of Faker's voice. He sounded angry, something else laced in his voice as well. Maybe jealousy? Eh, I wouldn't care less what it was

"One, don't call me Shads. And two, I guess, but I'm not doing this for you." I snarled at Faker, pointing at him. He glared at me and rolled his eyes

"Great! Amy, let's go get you dressed so we can leave!" Cream began pulling Amy into back to Amy's room, Blaze and Rouge following after the two. Once I knew they were gone, I glared darkly at Sonic, seeing him shoot me the same glare...
