47 | GIRLFRIEND
After our coffee date, Davina and I went our separate ways. It's the one thing that I don't like, she is always leaving and going back to the witches. I know she has to but I'd much rather she stay with me. No funny bussiness, I just want to wake up next to her in the mornings.
Currently however, I am laying on the couch in my twin's room after I refused to lay on his bed before he fumigates it and rids it of STD's. All my comment got was an eye roll but he had a smile tugging at his lips. Speaking of the devil, he is on his balcony, looking out at the city.
I see Elijah entering the room and I lift my hand and wave to him as a greeting. He smiled and gave me a curt nod. I watched as he made his way infront of Nik's painting. My twin returned to his room, grabbed a paintbrush, and was about to return to his artwork but instead of being able to do that, he finds Elijah standing in front of his painting.
"Not a fan of cerulean blue?" My blonde brother asks and I rolled my eyes.
"Not a fan of your continued indifference." Elijah counters and I snort.
"Yeah, if you get rid of your toy, it would make all the differeance." I say sarcastically from my spot on the couch, not bothering to get up as I can see my two siblings clearly. Nik throws me an annoyed look while Elijah nods with a smirk on his lips.
"Well, it's difficult trying to unite a community that has a history of mutual loathing." My twin says and I roll my eyes.
"Spare me the platitudes, Niklaus." Elijah told him.
"Oh come now, Nik. Once upon a century ago, they all lived in peace." I said, agreeing with Elijah. I really don't want a war in this city. This city is my home, the place where I fell in love. It's the place where in all of a thousand years, I've found true happiness.
"A perspective, then? If you want peace, you must begin with the werewolves. A hundred years ago, they had a run at ruling this city. As of late, all they've had is time to watch their enemies tear down that legacy." Nik counters and I think over his words.
"All the more reason why their enemies are reluctant to bring them to the table." Elijah tells him and I decide to butt in once again.
"Yeah, but Nik's right, Elijah. The werewolves has a place in this city as much as we have. We can't expect peace when only half the people are satisfied." I tell him and he looks over at me with a thoughtful look on his face as my twin says:
"Take a page from Bienville, brother." Nik says as he squeezes my dark haired brother' shoulder. "If the table's the obstacle, remove it." He pours the three of us drinks as he continues. "Do you recall in 1720, the Governor's desperation to secure our help to build the cities first levees? We sat with him, and refused his offer, and so, he plied us with wine, with corseted women, and with raucous camaraderie until he had his yes." I finally get up from the couch as I join my brothers and my twin hands me a drink.
Elijah smiles as he says, "Are you suggesting that I throw a party?"
"That's exactly what he's suggesting." I say with a smile and the three of us toast each other and drink.

Elijah has thrown an impromptu party at the compound, where all the factions can come celebrate together and mingle. I, myself was told to slip on a dress and some heels. So, here I am in a bright blue dress that end mid thigh and some silver high heels. Nik, Elijah and I look at the party from the balcony but my breath hitched when I saw my love enter the party, looking beautiful. A smile lit my face as I looked at her.
"I'm impressed, brother." Elijah said, refering to Nik's suggestion.
"Yes." Nik said.
"Me too." I state, nodding as I did so.
"Now if I can just keep them from tearing one another to shreds." Elijah said and I chuckled.
"Well, then for your sake, here's to a spectacularly boring evening." My twin told him.
"Yeah well, you have fun playing babysitter while I go find my girl and have some fun." I commented with a grin as I started to walk towards the stairs, patting Elijah's shoulder on my way and hearing Nik chuckle at my words.
"I never thought I'd see the day where our sister would have a girlfriend." I heard Elijah say and I rolled my eyes.
"I never thought I'd see her in love." Nik commented and stopped in my tracks and turned to them.
"One, I can hear you, you two dumbasses. And two, she's not my girlfriend. Yet." That most certainly shut them up.
I made my way downstairs and I felt eyes on me but I didn't care, there was only one girl on my mind. I looked around, ignoring the way some of the men stared at me. I spot Davina leaning against the wall, looking bored. My smile widened but it faded as I spotted a werewolf making his way to my girl.
"Hey. Wanna dance?" He asked her and I started to glare at his head as I walked to them.
"No, I'm actually waiting for someone." She rejected him, with a polite smile looking nervous.
"Come on, it's just one dance. I'm sure whoever you're waiting for won't mind." He says and grabs her by the arm and I lost it. I sped forward and grabbed him by the neck and threw him across the room. A silence fell on the party and everyone looked at us. No one dared to try and fight me, knowing it would end in their death. The male got to his feet and was about to run at me but stopped when I let my hybrid face come out.
"She said no and I do mind." His eyes widened at my words and a look of fear filled his face as my glare increased.
"You're Lex Mikaelson." He says, fear coating his tone and I smirked.
"You've heard of me?" I ask, glare and smirk in place and he nods.
"Hayley told us to stay away from you and you girl, Davina." He told me.
"Obviously you didn't listen very well." I comment, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Look, I didn't know she was your girl." He defended himself and I scoffed.
"And that makes it okay for you to try and force someone else?" I asked, my voice taking a dangerous edge, placing my hands on my hips. Before he could give me an answer, I was hugged from behind and an fimiliar scent filled my nose. I turned around and looked down at her, her wearing flats and me wearing heels making me four inches taller than her. She gave me a look that said, 'let it go' and I gave her an 'seriously' look.
"For me?" Davina asked hopeully and I sighed but nodded in agreement. Suddenly an idea popped up and a devious smile made it's way to my lips. The little witch's eyes widened and as she went to take a step back, I quickly bent down, grabbed her by her thighs and sped out of the party. She wrapped her arms around my neck as a squeal left her lips and I grinned as I stopped.
I saw we are in an abandoned street in a quiet part of the city and it's dark with only a few lights here and there, with buildings around us. I'm not afraid though, a witch can't hurt me and I'm one of the strongest creatures alive. I also know that I can protect my Love, so I'm fine.
"Really?" She asked breathlessly looking down at me with wide eyes, her legs dangling. I still have in my hold, making her higher than me, she steadied herself by placing her hands on my shoulders and I had a goofy smile on my lips.
"Really." I confirmed. She giggled and we stared at one another. The tension between us grew and there seemed to be electricity in the air as Davina moved her hands from my shoulders to my neck and brought her lips to mine. It was a soft kiss but then I began kissing her harder and she responded. Wanting more access, I sped her against a building and gently set her down, never breaking our heated kiss. My hands traveled to her sides and I stopped by her hips and gripped them tightly but careful not to hurt or bruise her. I break our kiss and I begin to kiss down her jaw line, making my way to her neck. She tilted her head and moved her hair, giving me more access. When I heard a soft moan escaping her lips, I smirked knowing I found her sweetspot. I start sucking on said spot, hard enough that it will leave a mark, causing her to gasp in pleasure.
When I finished I pulled back my head, this time earning a sound of displeasure form my girl. I admired my handiwork for a second before I attacked her lips again. Before I lost all sense of reality again, as I tend to do when I kissed her, I pulled back and said:
"Be my girlfriend?" Her eyes widened and her heart started beating faster than it all ready was.
"What?" She asked me, her voice soft and disbelieving. I went to take a step away from her but she kept her arms around my neck.
"I know it's not the most romantic place or way to ask, but will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her, my heart hammering and a nervous feeling settling in my stomach.
"Yes." Davina said with a massive grin. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."
And then I did the only thing I could do, I kissed her once again.
