Country j.......

The most influential country of all......though it was one of the most developed countries worldwide but suprisingly it still managed to retain its greenary......the capital of the country city A was the most popular.....the streets of the city screamed power.....riches.......status as it housed most of the aristrocratic families of the country........

In the heart of the city M lies the abode of THE MURTHY'S........murthys were the heart of country j.......they were most influencial and richest aristocratic families since time immemorial.......their name was enough to send shivers down the spine of enemies.......every aristocratic family wanted to make connections with them and boast about knowing them........

They were different from the others as they dint need to brag about their status.....their buisness was wide spread.......any kind of buisness you name it and they have it......what was the most dreaded thing about them was they were connected with the underworld.....

Every aristrocratic family has a family head.....the family heads of every generation represent their family name in the society.....

What makes murthys unique is that in this male dominant society where the family heads were males.....murthys were the only family in which the females have been inheriting the family head position since the past three generations........

This drastic change was brought by savitri murthy the first female head of the family.......earlier her husband used to be the head of the family but he died during an attack on him by the enemies.......the whole murthy clan was in dissarry.....one one side they were mourning for the loss of their family head and on the other side the all their enemies decided to use this oppurtunity of having no family head to their advantage......

The murthy's were shaken they were loosing their hold on their buisness....they dint know who would be the next family head....there was an internal power struggle  for that position......at this hour of need savitri murthy stepped out to fill the position of the family head......

The idea of a female as family head was unheard of.....it was a change from the usual.....and change was something the human mind was always unwilling to accept.....being the hypocritical society it was it quickly tried to subdue this change........

Forget about outsiders the murthy clan too was unwilling to accept savitri murthy as their head......even after she became the head she had to face numerous attacks and critisism.....the remaining aristocratic families used to joke about it.....that murthy's had  become so desperate that they made a female their clan head........

But as time passed the thing that was considered as a joke soon started to be seen in a new light.....savitri murthy not only managed to recover murthy's status in the society but she also placed it at new heights......from then on murthys became the clan that was looked up by the other........it became the clan that was untouched...unreachable to the others......and thus it was finally engraved in each and every soul that the murthys lossened their grip on the reins only to grasp it even more firmer.....

From then on none dared to make any comment on them......and with that the internal power struggle in murtys too stopped abruptly as they accepted  savitri as their clan head....

Savitri murthy was a cold calculating woman....all her life she had seen many scheming personality so  with time she became skilled in seeing a person's true self no matter how many layers of fakeness they were covered with.....one look in their eyes was enough to let her see their raw self......

And her daughter too inherited the same from her.......akanksha murthy was the second generation female head of murthys.....true to her name she had took murthys to new heights.....she was married to amar rathode who came from a family with military lineage....their marriage took place to increase their buisness connections......akanksha murthy was an ambitious lady by birth.....she wanted the murthys to enter military grounds.....and what better than getting married to amar who was a general...

Both savitri and akanksha had a major role in bringing murthy empire its current glory.....but the one that has been taking this to a whole new level was the third and the current head of murthy clan.......THE NANDINI MURTHY......

Nandini murthy the current head of the murthy clan......daughter of akanksha and amar....she was a child born out of responsibily......so from childhood onwards she lacked parents love and affection......her father used to be in military so they used to meet very less.....and her mother being the clan head back then had kept her hands occupied that she forgot the fact that she had a newborn  baby to look after.....who needed her the most........

From childhood onwards she grew up surrounded by guards and nannies.....being the only child of her parents .......her parents and grand mother  used to remind her that she was next in line to be the family head....she was regarded as a child prodigy by her teachers but for her mother and grandmother it was seen as a requirement to be the family head......

Slowly she came to terms with her emotions and started becoming cold and distant......gone was the girl who craved for her mother and in that place stood a girl who was emotionless.....in place of the girl who hated her mother for not having any time for her stood the girl who had immense respect for her clan leader.....and thats how the five year old girl grew up......

She knew her reponsiblities too well so she took the postion of the head at the tender age of 19 while most of the others take their postion at 23....everyone though that she wont be able to handle it but she proved all of them wrong by expanding murthy's boudaries into entertaiment field........the empire was growing so enoromously that everyone was dumbsruck.....

In a span of 5 years she earned the title of entertainment queen....being only a 29 year old she had too many suitors running after her......they were ready to go to any lengths for her ......offering their properties,  buisness and what not......but she never even gave them a side glance....whatever they had to offer she had it all....more than anyone and it keeps overflowing everyday.......

Her grandmother and mother tried to send her on numerous blind dates but none were upto nandini's standards......nandini never cared for having a husband by her side......she went to these blind dates only for one reason and that was to get a father for her son.......

Her son.....yes she had a 5 year old son.....unsurprisingly he is an illegimate child.....this child was the heart of nandini murthy.....probably the only person in this entire world who can make her feel love , possesiveness and every other emotion.......he was the key to her heart.......he was regarded as the sparkling prince of murthys......

Being born into murthy family the child was a prodigy by birth......every guy in the capital wanted to be the child's step father....but there was one little problem......

The child was an extreme introvert.....he only associates with his mother like a normal child.....remaining time he most likely spends time playing or studying.....it not like he is scared to interact..... for him his mother is enough.....and being the exact copy of his mother in terms of personality doesnt help much with interacting with strangers forget about his age group kids........

So that was the murthy clan that the world knew about ......

Murthy empire....

The whole murthy empire was in a hustle bustle as the employes were running here and there trying to make last min corrections and giving final touches to their projects....some were even desperately praying to be given some extra time....while the others were rechecking their data for the nth time.....there was one thing similar in all of their hearts and that was dread........

Because today was no ordinary day.......today was the inspection day.....or in the words of the employes the YOU - ARE - FIRED  day.....this was the day when 1/4 th of the employe population would be wiped out.....that is the thing about murthy empire.....it doesnt care how many connections you used to get a job here.....it doesnt care how much you brag about working here to your relatives or friends......it doesnt care about your working style....or the fact that you may be the young master of a rich family......

it only has two requirements.....

1. whether you have completed the work on time or not

and

2. if the completed work is up to par with the companies standards......

And if the two requirements are not met when inspected during the monthly inspections then they will eventually be kicked out of the company......

As cruel as firing 1/4 th of the employes every month sounds it is a very crucial requirement.....because getting into company through your connections doesnt mean that you would be careless with work.......if the company doesnt see any progress with the work then whats the point of having incompetent employees......

And everyone working there were well aware of it.....and most people were totally fine with it...as... for any hard working person , working here was like a dream come true......and the minor poulation which hate this requirement will pretty much get fired during this inspection...the company for sure doesnt need whining employes.....

Seated in the top most floor as the chairwoman and the CEO of murthy empire was nandini murthy....sipping a glass of red wine and keeping her eyes on her laptop which was monitoring the employes of all departments nandini was lost in her thoughts....

Her cold eyes studied the body language of every employes rushing here and there.....sighing she closed the lap top......this was going to be a long day.......she thought leaning back on her chair closing her eyes.....she was working over night for two straight days and it was starting to take a toll on her body.............

Her eyes abruptly opened when her phone began to ring.....she wouldnt have cared if it was her buisness phone....but this was her personal phone which only a mere ten people had the number of.....so whatever it is......must definitely be important...

She looked around the mess of files and laptops searching for her phone....after searching every inch of her table she opened her side draweres and.....finally she found her phone in the second drawer....how did it go there.....?  she had no idea......

She saw the caller id.......shane....shane was the personal head body guard of her son.....seeing him calling her instantly made her frown...a slight hint of worry covered her usually expressionless eyes......

She answered the call and spoke in a heavy and cold voice " speak "

Listening to her tone shane trembled lightly and stuttered " madam.....madam....the young master......he.....is throwing a tantrum......."
