Nest residence....

Shane entered carrying a sleeping arhaan in his arms followed by 5 body guards....he was about to move upstairs when he stiffened glancing at the couch......

And there sat nandini murthy holding a glass of wine looking in his direction.....opps glaring in his direction.....she strode towards him and took arhaan in her arms.....she patted his back lightly which inturn made him snuggle more into her neck with a smile....probably sensing his mother's warmth.....

Nandini looked at shane and coldly uttered " wait here "

She carried her son upstairs into her room and gently placed him on her bed....a whimer left arhaan's mouth instantly missing her warmth....she sighed contently and removed her coat and covered him with it.......

Seeing him happily sleeping a smile broke onto her lips.....she bent a little and pecked his lips murmuring " mamma loves you baby....a lot..."

She half closed the door and came down to see shane pacing around in panic.....seeing her he stopped......

Shane spoke trembling in fear " mam...this...."

Nandini asked him in her ice cold voice " where was my son...? "

" i told you to wait for 2 hours and then i will be back....i rushed the meeting and came an hour ealier and what do i find....my son is not in the house.....even after my clear instructions to not take him out given the no.of threats he has....still you took him out..." nandini continued....

" how dare you....did you get my permission before taking him out.......tell me.....did you...? " nandini yelled.....all the anger that has been contained finally making its way out......

" no....no mam....b...but....the old madam gave her consent....." shane spoke finally finding his voice back....

A hint of surprise flickered in her eyes as nandini took in the information....." dadi..."

Shane nodded " yes mam..."

Nandini sighed in disbelief and asked him to leave.....after everyone left nandini called savitri....

Savitri : what has happed for me to receive this unexpected phone call from my grand daughter....

Nandini ( angrily ) : cut the crap dadi....you know why i called....why did you agree to send my son out...without informing me....

Savitri ( sighing ) : first of all ...language my dear...even if i am not the head now....i am still your elder....and secondly he is my grand son....of course i can send him where ever he wants....

Nandini : but not with out informing me....i am his mother for godsake.....

Savitri : i know...but if i would have told you then would you have really allowed him to go out....

Nandini : ........

Savitri : i knew it....you would't have....but you have to stop being so overprotective of him....it will only hinder his growth....let him lead a normal life at least for a while....and if you have forgotten i did send guards with him......

Nandini : but...

Savitri : think about it....he needs to mingle with his age group....he needs to find a friend nandu.........

Nandini closed her eyes hearing her old nickname after so long.....

She cut the call......

' you are right daadi....i need to stop being so over protective.....but first i need to find out why he wanted to go out.......'

She returned to her room and laid on her bed staring at arhaan....he was sleeping on his stomach with his mouth open.....she caressed his hair " this habit of yours is so not like me....i wonder who you take after....." she muttered and placed a forehead kiss and hugged him closer letting him snuggle in her.....

Sharma flat.....

Manik entered inside to find rakesh sitting on the couch glaring at him...niyonika was by his side.....he sighed knowing too well what was going to happen now......

" time kita hua pata hai tumhe " rakesh spoke sternly.....

Manik looked at him and quickly fished out his mobile and spoke " 11.30....kyu apko nahi pata tha...."

" nalayak " rakesh spoke red in anger.....

He turned to niyo and spoke " dekha kaise baat kar raha hai mujhse....baat karne ki tameez nahi hai isko.....pucho ise ab tak kaha tha ye...hamesha vo guitar leke apna shor machata rehta hai....koi kaam danda to nahi karta...."

" agar aapko baat karni hai toh mai jao....and FYI i have a job....." manik spoke rolling his eyes.....

" cafe main waiter hona job nahi hota....and i have decided ab se ye tumhara shor bandh....ek hafta....i will give you exactly one week for you to find a proper job and stop this nonsense.....if you fail to find a job after one week then apna guitar lekar nikal jana iss ghar se......" rakesh spoke firmly.....niyonika gasped in shock....

Manik fisted his hands and left from there to his room.....he paced around the room in frustration and punched the wall.....

" arrgh....dammit....."

Next day....
Nest residence....

Nandini stood in her balcony with her black coffee going through her files when she found her mobile ringing.....

She answered the call and uttered " speak..."

After hearing the report shane was giving about yesterday nandini looked dumbfounded......her son went out yesterday to meet someone.....some stranger.....it clearly shocked her to the core....firstly she was angry at shane for letting him go with a stranger but then she curbed her anger after she learned that the man dint do anything to him and infact her son enjoyed a lot with him......

" hmmm....manik malhotra right....intresting....." she spoke looking at the sky.....
