A little girl is seen writing something. Her long beautiful hair was dancing in the air. She has a big doe shape eyes, her eye brows were sharp and her every feature says that she was purely inherited her mother.

"Nivi..."she heard a voice from downstairs while she hurriedly fold the paper and kept in the drawer of her study table .

" Teddy... Don't tell to papa.. Okay? "she said to her teddy which was on her bed, watching her.

" Good girl.. "she kissed her teddy and ran downstairs.

" Careful bachaa... "he said seeing her running and picked her in his arms.

" Papa... "she said hugging him while he kissed her cheeks and made her to sit on the table.

Nivi is Neil's everything. She is the apple of his eyes. He can't able to bear any scratches on her. She was 6 years old little girl whose world revolves around her father.

" See what I have bought for you?" he said showing a bag while her eyes brimmed in happiness seeing the dominoz bag.

"Pizza!" she squealed out of joy as she loves pizza.

"Haa.. As I promised, I have bought for you.." he said caressing her hair while she hugged him.

"You are the best papa..." she said cutely while he kissed her hairs.

"Wait a minute.. I will go and get change..." he said while she nodded her head cutely.

He left to room to change his uniform. His gaze fall on a picture while tears brimmed in his eyes. He pressed his lips together to control himself and stepped into something. He moved his foot slightly and saw her pencil which was lying on the floor. He picked it up and opened the study table drawer to keep it and his eyes caught on the paper. He was about to pick it up but stopped when he heard her voice.

"Papa... Be quick na.."

"Coming jaan.." he said and went to get freshen.

After sometime,

Nivi was lying on Neil's chest while he was caressing her hairs, making her sleep. Her gaze was fixed on the picture seeing her mother. She lifted her face and saw Neil who was also looking at the picture.

" I love you papa..." she said cutely blinking her eyes while he looked at her smiling.

"I love you jaan" he said caressing her hair. She then moved away from him and sat on the bed.

"Not feeling sleepy?" he asked while she nodded negatively.

"Then what will we do?" he said making a thinking face, tapping his index finger on his chin. While she copied him doing the same action which caught his attention.

"Hayee.." he said and started tickling her while she laughed. He was continously tickling her while her laughter filled the air.

Later on,

Neil was telling stories to her. He saw her sleeping and then slowly kept the book on the table and covered her properly with duvet. He caressed her hair and kissed her forehead. He then lay down, beside her and soon dozed off.

The next day,

Neil made her get ready to school.

"Come Nivi... Let's go and have breakfast.." he said taking her bag in his hand.

"Papa... You go.. I will come saying bye to teddy..." she said holding her teddy in her hand while Neil smiled at her antics and went down.

She then kept the Teddy on the bed and went near her writing table and opened the drawer and took out that paper. She then slowly moved downstairs and looked all around and found Neil nowhere on the living area. She then moved towards the main door and stepped out. She once again turned and saw Neil nowhere. She ran out and stopped near the post box. She looked here and there and put that letter on the box. She then about to move but stood there thinking. She then stood on her toe and tried to look inside while she can't able to see anything as she was small and her height didn't matched that. She pouted and again ran inside her home.

"Nivi..." he was shocked seeing her coming from outside.

"Where did you go bachaa..?" he said kneeling down infront of her, asking her.

She then took a rose from her back which she picked it from the garden.

"I went to take this rose for my teacher.." she said seeing the rose and then him while he chuckled and picked her in his arms.

They then had their breakfast and he made her wear her school bag and was locking the door. He then walked till the car while she was looking at the post box continously. Neil looked at her seeing the post box. He then made her sit on the passenger seat and made her wear the seat belt. They then started from there.

Later on at evening,

The school ended and she was waiting for Neil, sitting in the waiting room. He usually come earlier but today he wasn't shown up. She looked at the other kids moving with their mothers made her sad. She saw a mother who took her kid in her arms and kissed her while the kid happily hugged her. Tears welled up in her eyes and soon she started crying.

Neil reached there and was shocked seeing her crying.

"Nivi!..." he engulfed her in his arms seeing her big fat tears rolling from her eyes which pinched his heart.

"Pa... Pa... Papa..." she was crying while he was stroking her back, calming her.

"Sorry bachaa.. I am late... I will come soon from tomorrow.... Sorry bachaa... Sorry...." he was panicked seeing her state while she wrapped her little hands around his neck hugging him tightly.

Later on,

They were sitting on the park while she was eating ice cream. She smudged ice cream all over her face making him smile widely. He took her handky and wiped her mouth.

"I am sorry bachaa.." he said while she shifted her gaze from her ice cream to him and smiled at him. She then asked him to hold her ice bowl and stood up on the bench.

She took the ice cream from him and took a spoon and moved it near his mouth, feeding him. While he smiled with tears seeing her while she kissed his cheek.

They then started from there. And Nivi was so excited to go home.

"Papa... Please drive fast na..." she said so excitedly

"Why my bachaa is always so excited to go home?" he asked as this wasn't first time he was noticing it. She always gets excited to go home and then became sad after reaching there.

"Hmm... I won't tell you now.." she said while he pouted.

"Papa... I will tell you... Don't be sad.." she said seeing him making puppy face while he grinned widely

"But not now" she sticked her tongue out while Neil just remembered Avni who always do these type of naughty things.

He reached there and opened the door while she excitedly stepped in. She then ran upstairs to her room. She stepped in, looking around and frowned. She got disappointed and went to bed taking her teddy on her lap.

At night,

Neil was sitting on the porch on the swing while Nivi was in his arms.

"Papa.." she called her lifting her face while he looked at her smiling

"Haa bachaa..." he said looking at her

"Papa.. You told me na.. That god will grant our every wishes..." she asked blinking her eyes innocently while he nodded.

"Haa jaan.. He will grant our every wishes..." he said pulling her nose.

"Papa... You also told me na that... Mumma is with God..." she said while his expression totally changed hearing her. He blinked his eyes continuously and nodded his head.

"Then why don't he send her back?...." his heart felt numb with her question. The air became thin and her little eyes longing for a reply from him. He can purely feel her. His mouth opened and closed several times but can't able to utter a word.

She then kept her head on his chest again. Tears passed down his cheeks remembering the terrific incident.

"How will i say to Nivi that I failed! " he thought caressing her hair and squeezed his eyes.

He looked down and saw her sleeping. He slowly took her in and made her lay down on the bed. He again closed his eyes remembering their happy moments.

Flashback

Avneil were happy married young couple. Avni is an orphan living in Mumbai. Neil is a police officer in mumbai whereas his parents are in Delhi. They fallen in love with eachother and soon they married with his parents blessing. It's been two months since they are married.

Once a day,

A girl is seen seeing the calender and was blushing at the same time. While she felt someone hugged her from behind and she gasped with a sudden movement.

"Neil..." she said and parted his hands which was snuggled onto her waist. She turned and looked at him while Neil saw a different glow on her face.

"Are you free today?" she asked him while he nodded negatively.

"No yaar jaana... You know na... I was stuck into a new case.." he said while she nodded

"Yeahhh... Its okay. I will manage..." she said smiling.

"Manage?... You mean?" he asked confused while she blushed.

"I won't tell you now..." she said while he pouted

"Don't keep that puppy face... I will tell you." she said seeing his puppy face which will always melts her while he grinned seeing his trick which got worked.

"But not now" she sticked her tongue and ran away making him chuckle at her antics.

At night,

Neil came back home and reached his room.

"I missed you..." he said hugging her, making her feel blessed seeing his love.

"Papa.." she said in his ears while he was shocked. He broke the hug looking into her eyes while she nodded smiling widely. He again hugged her tightly crushing each other.

Days passed and Neil was pouring all his love on her. He was taking care of her like anything. His all gestures making her fall for him over again. By passing months, He started to take a day off oftenly to spend time with her and he started coming home soon so that she don't feel his absence. He adores her seeing her in baby bump which is slightly visible.

Once a day,

Neil was in police station working on the case while his phone rang. He connected the call.

"Haa Bheema dii..." he spoke and what she told him, shooked his whole body.

He rushed to hospital and saw bheema standing outside the ICU. He saw doctor coming outside.

"Doctor Avni..." he said while tears were flowing from his eyes continously.

"Is the case registered?" the doctor asked as it became a police case.

"Yeah... I... I... Will... Register.... So... Soon..." his words were choking badly and his blood pressure was raising to the peak.

"Doctor Av... ni... Ba.. By?" he can't able to say anything clearly while the doctor understood his helpless state.

"Thank god!... Baby is safe... But can't say anything about Avni right now... She is in....." she stopped seeing him in fainting Condition.

"Neil.." she said and made him to sit.

"i want to see her..." he said looking at the doctor.

"No... You can't.." she said

"Please... Please...." his eyes were begging to her while she agreed.

He then stood up and with a trembling legs, he started to move towards the ICU. By the each step, he was taking, his heart beat raised to the extent. He reached near the door and opened.

He glimpse her state and his eye became heavy with tears seeing her condition. His heart ached seeing her attached with tubes. He felt someone killing him mercilessly. She was breathing under the ventilator. He turned closing his eyes as he has no courage to go near her. He again turned taking a deep breath and started to move near her and saw her face. He kneel down with a thud seeing her. Her half face was burnt along with some region of her neck. His face went expressionless. His brain flashed with her smiling face.

"Neil bhaiya..... Av.. Av... Avni... Bhabhi....Hospital...... Two..... People.... Ac... Acid...." bheema's word rang on his ears.

He stood up and marched out with extreme anger as a officer Neil khanna leaving the husband Neil behind. He wanted to punish them at any cost. He enquired Bheema about it and came to know that the criminals were none another than the people whose case he was handling currently.

Few weeks passed by,

Neil was sitting on the chair and was seeing a newspaper.

Officer Neil Khanna Arrested the Culprits!
Mrs. Avni Neil Khanna (Wife of officer Neil khanna) was recently became the victim of Acid attacks, in their malad home, Mumbai. Culprits were caught and thrown behind the bars.

"Not only punishments... I hope judiciary will provide necessary action against Acid attacks and selling of Acid without the right permit" ~Neil khanna

He kept the paper beside and was continously watching the operation theatre where she was ungergoing skin grafting.
He stood up seeing the doctor while she nodded her head saying the operation went successful.

Once a day,

The day arrived which he was afraid of...afraid of meeting her. He don't know how he will handle her. With a heavy heart, he marched to the room and he heard sound of scattering things, which made him shock. He opened the door in panicked state.

"Go away!!!.... Go away... I don't wanna see anyone..." she was throwing the things which was kept on the side table, yelling at the nurse.

Neil's closed his eyes as he witnessed the sight which he was feared off. She was squeezing her eyes tightly not looking at anyone.

"Go Away!!!!" she shouted and Nurse went while Neil slowly moved near her without uttering a word. He stood near her and saw her silent cries.

"Av....Avni..." he said slowly while she indentified his voice. She started crying vigorously not looking at him.

"Avni!!" he took her in his embrace hugging her. He broke the hug and wiped her right cheeks and he was about to touch the burnt side but was afraid whether he will hurt her.

"Ahh! ..." she said as she felt the burning sensation as tears passed down her burnt side as it was newly operated.

"Ne....il.....ne..il..." she said and her words were choking.

"Baby?" she asked stroking her baby trump

"Baby is fine..." he said pinning her hair.

"Neil... I want to see mee..." she said holding him by collar looking at him while he stood numb.

"Avni.... You should not stain yourself...." he said to divert this topic while she opposed.

"NEIL!!!" she shouted stubbornly.

He showed the mirror to her. She looked at her burnt face and started breathing heavily. She hid her face under his chest and pushed the mirror making it break into small pieces. She started crying so badly while he hugged her so tightly, engulfing her.

Months passed,

Its been 2 months since Avni locked herself in home. Neil tried her best to convince her while she was not ready to accept anything. She was in her 7 month. She lost her smile and chirpiness. She always stays in her room while Neil stays with her not even leave her a second, alone. Her all plans for her future baby goes in vain. She used to stay idle all the day.

"Avni... See... Its been 7 month... We wanna go for shopping right?.. We wanna buy cute cute dresses..." he started with his asusaul talks to make her cheer up.

Avni shifted her gaze leaning on the bed rest. She knows how he was struggling to cheer her up. But she can't help but always disappoints him still denying. But he never said anything to her always accepted her decision. She felt blessed to see his love.

"What's say Avni?" he asked crossing his finger with a hope while she nodded giving shock to him.

"Really Avni?!.. Really?" he asked like a excited kid while she nodded smiling only for him.

Avneil got ready and went to beach as Avni asked him to take her there. Neil became so happy. He stopped the car and went towards Avni's side and opened the door. He asked her hand while she kept her hand above his. She stepped down and was seeing the world after 2 months. She felt cool breeze kissing her face which she felt so peace. A smile crept on her face which made Neil smile.

They started walking while Avni hold his hand tightly while Neil looked at her and hugged her side ways protectively. She saw the sea shore and smiled. While Neil felt something hit him lightly on his back. He turned and saw a ball while a little kid was running to pick the ball and his mother followed him. Neil smiled and gave the ball to him while the kid looked at Avni.

"Mumma..." the kid got scared seeing Avni and ran back to his mother. Avni felt a sharp pain on her heart while Neil was shocked and he looked at Avni whose eyes welled up with tears.

"Atleast you should cover your face..." his mother passed a comment on Avni while Neil gritted his teeth and clenched his fist.

"Are you for real?.... Like seriously?!... Being a women, how can you pass such comment?... Isn't she a human? ... You know what.... She is strong than us....Yeah its so easy for you to say like this na ....Can you..." Avni hold his hand stopping him while he turned to look at her and cupped her face wiping her tears.

" Neil... Let's go home... " she said in a low tone.

" Avni.... "

" Neil... Please..... Please... "he knows she was controlling herself from bursting out her emotions. He glared at the lady and left from there.

Avni became all silent again. He was hell afraid now. With lost of difficulties he made her agree. He felt guilt for hurting her, for digging the wound again which gives pain as a fresh one. They reached the home and she without saying anything, marched to their room and locked herself. He was knocking the door continously but she didn't respond.

Its been night,

Still Neil was sitting near the door.

"Jaana..." he called while he heard the sound of opening the door. He stood up quickly. By seeing her swollen face and puffy eyes, he hugged her tightly.

"I am sorry..." he whispered inbetween the hug while she broke the hug.

"Neil... My baby will also get scare na... Seeing me.... I will be like a monster to my baby na..... How my baby will accept me as a mother... No... No.... I don't want my baby to see me and get afraid.... Neil.... Kill me after baby born..... No... I can't be a monster to my baby.... I want to die....i don't want her to see me like this...... Neil... You should take care of our baby.... You want to give her all your love as well as mine.... "she was blabbering with her painful inner turmoil as the kid's scared face flashing in her brain. While Neil felt broken seeing her this state. He was trying  to divert her while she was sticked onto the same thing.

Flashback ends

Neil opened his eyes and looked at Nivi who was still sleeping. He stood up from the bed to close the door when his gaze caught on a paper which was on her study table. He went near and took that paper and that time his mind striked the scene seeing her looking at the post box.

He stepped out of the home and opened the box and saw few paper which was folded and seemed like a letter. He was confused and picked it up. He came back room and read. He can't able to control his tears reading the letters which she wrote. He felt her innocence, her innocent pain, her pain of missing her mother.

While his phone buzzed with a message

"Did Nivi slept?" he read the message

"Haa.." he replied and locked his phone

And soon he heard the sound of door bell and he went to open the door. He looked at the person with every emotions in his eyes and drowned into his memory again.

Flashback

Neil was walking to and fro outside the operation theatre.

"Mr. Neil khanna..." the doctor called him while he rushed towards her

"Congratulation it's a baby girl..." she said happily while his happiness has no limit.

Later on

Avni slowly got conscious and looked at Neil who was sitting beside her. He smiled with tears and kissed her forehead while they heard a sound of their baby who was crying. Avni looked at the baby excitedly. Neil helped her to sit on the bed while Nurse placed her Little jaan on her arms. Words are undescribed Avni's feeling when she held her little love for the first time. She kissed on her forehead feeling her in her arms. She held her close to her chest.

By each passing month,

Nivi became their world. Neil was so happy as Avni always busy in taking care of her little princess. She take care of her every moments and her tears can't be bear by her.

When Nivi spoke her first word 'Maa..', Avni became the most happiest person in the world. Neil thought she just forgeted everything. By seeing Nivi growing up, Avni fear started provoking inside her. She again started the topic of leaving Nivi with Neil. They started arguing for this daily and their happiness started to depress.

Neil tried his best to stop her from doing but he failed. She left Neil and Nivi, when Nivi was in the stage to recognize everything. It wasn't so easy for her to leave her love, Neil and her jaan, Nivi. As a mother, Nothing is more painful than leaving their children. She was doing everything with a heavy heart. She was afraid of facing her daughter. Avni was afraid of being hated by her daughter for whom she is. She stepped out of the house and turned to look at Neil who having sleeping Nivi in his arms.

"Avni.. Please.... Please... I beg you.." he said pleasing her while she smiled with tears and left.

Avni was living in his condo. She was little far away from them but always watch their every moves. She was with them but not closer. She used to go to to school at the times when Neil drop her morning and pick her in evening and Neil knows everything. He always spend time with Avni when Nivi was in school. Neil tried to brain wash her and tried his best to take her to their home but Avni was so stubborn. She goes to the every place where Neil and Nivi goes but the little kid was unaware of anything.

Flashback ends

"Avni!" he uttered pulling her into a hug. She broke the hug and looked at his swollen face.

"Neil what happened?" she asked him while he looked at her weeping and nodded his head negatively.

She stood looking at him blankly and then moved towards the room where nivi was sleeping. She sat on the bed, near her and kissed her all over her face. She caressed her hairs pouring her love. Everytime she visit Nivi, she tried not to cry so that Neil won't ask her to stay with them. But Neil caught her everytime seeing her, bottling up her emotions. Avni made her to sleep on her lap making sure she won't get disturbed. Soon Neil left the room.

After sometime

Avni came down and saw him standing near the door and was looking at the moon.

"Neil... I am leaving..." she said not looking at him while Neil didn't utter a word. She felt something wrong as everytime when she say this, he will hug her and ask her not to go.

But this time, He remained silent and his quietness making her restless. She looked at him who was not looking at her. She stepped out and was walking slowly.

"Avni..." he called her while she stopped and turned to see him. He walked near her.

"I won't stop you this time... You can go freely.... But after reaching home... Please read this..." he said giving those letters to her making her confused. She looked at the letters and then him.

She reached her place and sat on the bed and took the letter. She opened it hurriedly.

Letter 1

To god,

Papa told me that you will grant every wishes.. And my teacher also told me that you love small kids like me and the wishes should not be told to anyone... So I am writing this.... I won't say to papa... Promish......Papa told me that my mumma is with you... God.. Please send her back.. And that's MY LITTLE WISH.... Not a little wish but a big wish.

Avni felt the numbness reading the first letter. Her eyes were filled with tears and her all sense got blocked. She picked the next letter and read it.

Letter 2

To god,

Didn't you received my wish letter?..God...i excitedly came home to see my mumma.... But she was not there in my home... Why she didn't come?...I won't ask for anything... I don't want that barbie doll which I wished earlier... please fulfill this wish only....

Letter 3

To god,

I am so happy as well as sad ... Papa bought me the Barbie doll... You fulfilled that wish then what about my mumma? .... I don't want this doll.... I want my mumma.

Letter 4

To god,

Everyone have mumma... Then why don't I?... I asked papa that why mumma is with you... He told me that... My mumma is so good at heart....She is so beautiful....and he also told me that she is a treasure thats why she is safely with you..........But i am also a small kid na... I too need my mumma like others.... I promish you God... I will keep her safely.. Pinky promise...

Letter 5

To God,

I am so angry on you god... Sorry!... Papa told me that we should never be angry on god.. But.... But....I am sorry God... Please don't be angry on me.... I love you always.... But please send my mumma to me

She read all the letters. Her heart became heavy reading her simple words which has so pain behind. Tears were continously flowing reading the letter. She can feel how Nivi was missing her. Though Neil is there for her always, still she felt the absence of her seeing every kid with their mother. Avni can't able to express the pain she was feeling right now. She was feeling guilty. She lifted her face and looked at the picture of Neil and Nivi. She bursted out her emotions vigorously hugging their pic.

The next day

Nivi and Neil was moving out while her gaze fall on the post box which was opened. She ran near and found it empty. She smiled widely while Neil was observing her. They then sat on the car.

"Papa where are we going?" she asked smiling munching her Choclate.

"I will tell you..." he said smiling as well as nervous.

They reached a place while he picked her in his arms. He was moving while she saw someone whose back was facing her. She looked at Neil giving a confused look.

"Papa.. Who is she?" she asked him

"You itself see..." he said smiling while she got down from him and walked near her.

Avni's heart beat was getting higher with her each step forward. She closed her eyes, clutching her dress, having no idea about her reaction. She felt someone pull her dress. She turned slowly while Nivi can't able to see her face clearly as she was covered her face with shawl. Nivi once again turned and looked at Neil. Avni kneel down to reach her level while Nivi saw her. Her half face was only visible. Her eyes jumped out of socket in happiness as she identified her, seeing her half face. She opened and closed her mouth several times but can't able to speak in extreme happiness, seeing her mother. She turned again and looked at Neil.

"Pa... Mum...pa..." she don't know how to express this happiness. She again turned to look at Avni while her hand move near her to uncover her face which she was hiding.

Avni's whole body started to shiver seeing her hands moving close to her. Avni was looking at her eyes. Her little hand hold the cloth and started pulling downwards so that she can fully see her mother. Avni gasped in nervousness as the last piece of cloth slid down her head.

Nivi saw the burnt scars on her face. Tear passed down her cheeks seeing Nivi with expressionless face. Avni looked at Neil who was also crying silently and she slowly started bowing her head down but stopped when her little hand hold her face stopping from bowing. Nivi lifted her face making Avni to look at her.

"Mumma.... You are beautiful! ..." Nivi said what she felt in her heart. Avni shockingly looked at her who was smiling widely as like she is admiring her.

"You are more beautiful ever than the pic which was in our home..." she said innocently looking at the scars which looked more beautiful for her.

Avni engulfed her in her arms not expecting this reaction from her. Neil kneel down with a thud crying, hearing his daughter's words. Avni started blubbering in her arms like a kid.

" I am sorry bachaa... I am sorry... I am sorry...." she was repeating the same thing while Nivi was confused. She part away from her.

"Mumma why are you saying sorry?" she asked confused while she nodded negatively smiling at her.

"Mumma did god gave you my letters?" she asked as she remembered the box to be empty.

"Haa..." she said smiling and looked at Neil.

"papa... I am sorry.... I hid this thing from you as wishes should not be told to anyone... I wrote a letter to God asking him to send mumma back... And without your knowledge I used to post the letter going out from home....." she said cutely holding her ears asking sorry to him. Neil looked at her innocence as She was dropping the letter in the box where they receive letter in their residents. While he came near her and took her in bone crushing hug while he opened his arms seeing Avni while she hugged him tightly. He kissed Avni's hairs while she closed her eyes crying.

They started a new happy life. Nivi was so happy being with her father and mother. Avni now never cover her face and was going with Nivi everywhere she goes not giving any attention to people as nothing felt bigger than Nivi's loves for her. Neil was so happy seeing Avni and Nivi smiling by heart. He always adores their bond. He used to capture every moment of them. Their life became so beautiful as it was filled with their love.

Once a day

Nivi was sleeping on Avni's lap while she was caressing her hair. Neil entered the room and closed the door. He went near bed and sat beside Avni.

"Avni.. See this..." he showed another letter which he found on that box while Avni looked at the letter and then him.

"Neil open it.." she said while he nodded and opened it.

To god,

Thank you soo much God.... You know how happy i am... Not only me... Papa is also so happy.... We are Sooooo happy.........I love you..... I know God, you love me sooo much..... Thats why you granted my wish..... I will keep my promise that is to protect my mumma... And to keep my mumma always happy forever

They both read the letter together and wide smile crept on their face. They looked at Nivi who was smiling in sleep. They both together bent to kiss her forehead seeing their loving daughter. She then kept her head on his shoulder whispering sorry to him. While he made her to look at him.

"I love you Avni..." he said looking at her eyes

"I love you Neil..." she said while he kissed her forehead.

He took Nivi and made her to lye on his chest and Avni kept her head on his shoulder. Their hands were tangled while Avni was caressing Nivi 's hair. Avneil were smiling wholeheartedly thinking about their happy future.
