"Are you sure?" Demetri asks me, we hold hands as we look at the burning world of Solace. We avoided during our travels Solaris because the burning heat that incinerates people who go near the planet. You even need a special ship to be near the heat, from this distance of 4000 miles we can feel the heat.

"It's been almost nine hundred trillion years Demetri, all of our friends are gone" I tell my mate "we need to feed much more" it turns out that after a certain age, cold one vampires need to feed more frequently "and I want to be reunited with our friends and family" my voice cracks "I want to meet our son" see about three hundred years after Paul's death the world found out about aliens and the supernatural. It also happened to be when the world's nukes all activated and killed many vampires. The few who weren't affected that time died from the second bombing where it destroyed the whole world and the remaining people leaving it but a wasteland. Turned out the people who believed the world would end in fire were right "even Killer is ready" my familiar Killer is by my side lying down before us tired, we see how tired she is. "I love you Demetri"

Demetri and I had been in space then, so when we found out we were devastated that we only found solace in each other's arms. We ended up having a daughter that year, Vasilissa was her name. A year after that we had another daughter who we named Felicity after Felix. It was just us four for a long time, but our daughters soon left to discover themselves. They met their mates and have their own families. We actually saw them a few hundred years back to say our goodbyes since Solaris was so far from any planet that it takes a long time to get here.

Demetri and I have traveled the galaxy for far too long, we have met and seen so many people that I'm starting to forget some of their names. We have lived out life long enough that it's time for us to see our loved ones again. "It's time, I love you" Demetri says, he pulls the lever and soon our ship goes near the planet. Looking at Demetri we stare into each other's eyes before kissing, we hear the warning sirens and the heat comes closer as Demetri and I kiss. Right now in this moment, I am both scared and relieved that we are finally dying.

When I open my eyes pulling away, Demetri and I look down at our white clothes. I see his eyes are a beautiful blue, none of our kids got his eyes since they all has my hair and eyes. Only Caleb had blonde hair, the others didn't. I'm in a long white lace gown and Demetri is in a white dress shirt, white jacket with pants. Both of us are barefoot.

Demetri and I walk side by side as we walk on top of water, the white sky around us clears up and we see our friends and family all on the beach. Demetri squeezes my hand, looking at him he smiles to me and I smile back before we walk to them. As we get closer, the first person to see us is Felix "Finally!" Everyone looks our way "What took you guys so long?"

"Mom!" Looking over I see all my children, putting a hand to my mouth my children run to me. I hug each of them, then I see a man with dark hair and purple eyes look at me.

"Mom" Rory takes my hand "dad" I pull Demetri forward "meet Orion, your first born son" tears come down our faces when we hug him.

"Hi mom" he says "hi dad" we cry as we hold out baby boy who was taken from us.

"So" Paul asks "why did it take you two so long?"

"It's a long story" Demetri tells him

"It's a good thing" Edward smiles "we have all the time in the world" pulling away I see all of my loved ones here, but most importantly I'm here with my mate and that's all that matters. Sure the beginning of my life wasn't the perfect thing, but now after so many years...it was worth it. All of this was worth it.

"I love you Demetri" looking at my mate.

"And I love you Dorothea" leaning down pressing my lips to mine, I feel complete in this moment.
