"How aren't you cold?" Jessica asked me, we're in the lunch room right now. Bella has been trying to get everyone to keep her eyes on her while I've been shyly introducing myself. When we get to the table I see Eric and one other person there.

"Because she's a freak" Bella says

"The cold just doesn't affect me" I respond "I'm use the cold here" Mike opens a seat for me but Bella takes it so he pushes open another seat.

"Hey Mikey!" Eric says "I see you've met my home girls"

"Your home girls?" Mike asks, I stay silent trying to hide while Bella is loving this.

"My girls" some guy with dark skin kisses mine and Bella's cheek, Bella loves it while I turn another shade. I know what your thinking, how can I be okay with having sex baseball cards but am shy right now. I don't know, I just am. The guy pulls Mike's chair and soon Mike runs after the guy who's name is Tyler when Mike yells it.

"Wow" Jessica scooches over "you two are like the shiny new toys in first grade"

"How long have you and Mike been together?" I ask her

"Oh?" Jessica's face brightens "we're not"

"Why?" I ask "you two seem great together"

Jessica smiles "really?" I nod my head "thanks but I just don't know" looking over "I'm not sure he sees me like that"

"Maybe he does" I say "he's just not getting the picture clearly, some guys are really slow like that"

"Smile!" I blink when a flash comes between me and Bella, I get my vision back to see that other girl with a camera "sorry I needed a candid for the feature"

"Feature is dead Angela!" Eric snaps "don't bring it up again" patting our shoulders "I've got your back babies"

"Uh" I say embarrassed looking at Angela "I'm sorry, I'm a shy person" but I'm trying to change, god I need to settle my emotions.

"It's alright" she says looking at her camera "I guess we can do another editorial on teen drinking"

"You know" I suggest "you can always go for eating disorders or Speedo padding on the swim team?" Bella flares at me.

"Actually" Angela smiles "that's a good one" nodding my head I go to eat my food. Unlike Bella who is a literal bunny, I have meat on my food. As I'm eating I have my headphones on and listen to music ignoring everyone. When I'm done I stand to throw my food away, when I do I notice a group of pale eyed people with golden eyes stare at me.

When I throw my food away I hear one of the pale guys ask "is she like us? And wow she must be more beautiful than Rosalie" I stop and turn around to look at the guy who stares at me as I walk over.

"What?" Taking my headphones off

"Huh?" He asks confused as do the others.

"No" shaking my head "I'm not like you" smirking "but I am different"

"What?" He asked

"I'm Dorothea but everyone calls me Dot" holding my hand out, when he doesn't take it I mentally tell him you know his gaze snaps to mine it's rude not shake hands

He warily takes my hand "Edward" tilting his head can you hear me?

Yes nodding my head and he stares shocked "hi" waving my hand to the others who stare at us "I'm Dot"

"This is Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett" Edward tells me "my siblings, would you like to sit down?" I notice the others shoot him a glance.

"I'm sorry but I'm sitting with my sister and the others" I gesture, they all look at me. Bella with malice "maybe tomorrow?"

"Maybe" he agrees "what class do you have next?" Surprising the others at his table.

"Biology" I answer

"I have that too" he says "do you want to walk to class?"

"Sure" nodding my head "after your done eating of course"

"I'm full" he tells me, I nod my head "we can go now?"

"Sure, let me go grab my things" he nods his head, I go over and get my bag.

"Dot?" Jessica asks "you talked with Edward Cullen, what did he say?"

"He offered to show me to my next class" grabbing my things "I'll see you guys later" they nod their heads as I grab my bag and everyone watches as me and Edward leave the room.
