Marco pov
After a couple days since Stars episode I decided to go visit, I felt scared seeing her again she could just go into a seizure again and I wouldn't know what to do. As i held the bag of treats and a rose I made it towards the hospital.

I took a deep breath and walked slowly, I was scared because she could be looking worse and not the way she looked like months ago. "Hello, name please?" The front desk asked "Marco Diaz, here to see Star Butterfly" she smiles and points me to a different route.

Did they switch her room? "Um are you sure this is her room?" The woman nods "Yeah, she was moved a couple days ago" I sigh "Oh alright, thanks" she nods and I head towards her new room. As i get there I hear giggling but like a small child's?

I peek and see a child, with buzz cut hair holding a stuff animal and I see Star on her bed singing something random. "You sing so pretty! I used to take ballet.." "Really? That's really cool I just love singing it keeps me relaxed" as I moved in star noticed me and smiles

"Marco!" She moved off the bed and wrapped herself in my arms, she could stand which was good but I was cautious "Hey star, are you feeling better?" She noticed she's standing and smiles "Yeah..I'm in therapy so it helps a bit, let me sit back down"

she walked back to her bed and the little girl looked at me "Is this the cute boy you were talking about?" Stars face flushed a bright red "Eliza! No it was another guy..this one is a very close friend of mine" I chuckled and got to Eliza height

"Nice to meet you, I'm Marco Diaz and if I remembered correctly you called me handsome at some point" she turned even red "He is the one! Wow your really handsome then..I like your hair" she says as she plays with it "Well thanks, I like your green eyes they remind me of my mothers"

she giggles and looks at my hands "What are those?" I stood up and looked at star who still had a slight blush "These are Stars favorite treats, and her favorite flower.." star smiled and held her hands out, as i was close i gave her flower

"Wow, still pretty after these months i have had. Thanks Marco" I smiled and saw the little girl with wide eyes "Are you two going to kiss?" We both blushed "No..she likes my friend so we don't like each other like that" star looked disappointed but sigh afterwards

"What?! She looks so much happier when she looks at you..I can see it in her eyes..the mention of you makes her heart race and mind goes all out of tune" I blushed and felt star start shaking a bit and her hair covered her face

"Eliza I don't want her to hate me okay? You should just stop please.." the girl sigh with a little annoyance but left leaving me and star to be alone "Maybe I should go.." as I went to leave star grabbed my wrist

"Please stay.." I nodded and sat down "They moved me in this room because I want to do the surgery" my heart almost stopped "I was pushing it off for awhile now but I feel like I need to do this so I can live a better life, and not hurt my parents anymore"

her hands slowly moved into my own and she interlocked them "I wanted to ask you if you think I should go through it? The surgery could cause me my life.." I felt tears roll down my face and my hand held tighter "Why would you want to ask me about it?"

She sighs and moves closer "Because I want a reason to be able to do it and live to see you.." I blushed and moved her hand towards my chest "I think you shouldn't because I actually don't want you gone from my life. But another part of me wants you to do it so you have a better life and you can live the way you should be"

she held a small smile and started crying silently. I held her face and wiped away her warm tears "I'm still with you no matter what you do, because I care a lot about you" I said smiling at her and she quickly wraps around my neck and cries loudly and I held her "I'm s-scared" she whispers gently and I sigh because I was scared "I know..so am I"

After an hour of her crying we were in a room of silence. The only thing you could hear were the beeping of the monitors and nurses rushing by her door and the outside. She never let go of my hand but I didn't mind since she needed a friend right now.

After a while she spoke up again "Thanks..for being here for me" I smiled "No problem..I bet you'll do the same if I was in your place?" She giggles "I would.." it felt like the silence was filling the room again and I didn't want it to be awkward.

Then I realized it was night and the stars should be out. "Want to stargaze with me?" Her eyes light up and nods "There's a garden we could go and watch together for a bit" I nodded and helped her to her wheelchair, we want towards the garden and it was really pretty, I didn't even think this even existed here.

"I got this" she said as she stood and sat on the fountain and I sat beside her, hearing the water splash each time and the lights shine. She looked beautiful despite how much medication she's on. "What? Something on my face?" I chuckled "No, just looking at your eyes" she blushes and smirks

"Why? You've seen my eyes before?" I nod and chuckle slightly "I know but it seems more with color than it has been for months" she sighs "Yeah..so how's Janna? I haven't seen her since I entered the hospital?"

To be honest I had no clue but Jackie told me she had a new boyfriend so I figured I'd leave her alone "I guess she's good?" Star raised a brow "You guess she's okay? I thought you two were close?" "Yeah I thought so to, but apparently she has an older boyfriend..that's What Jackie told me"

star gave me an odd look "That's weird..do you think she's doing that so she can get your attention?" I shrugged "I could care less..she's never seen me in that way ever. When I dated Jackie our middle school year Janna said how much of dork or geek I was and cheesy because I made Jackie feel special. But honestly I thought that's how you treat the person you like.."

Star giggles "Wow I wish I met the middle school you..he seemed like a gentleman" I smirked "I still am, but I haven't really been seeking relationships so I tend to be generally nice" she smiles "Well Janna is jealous because if I was your best friend I would of asked you out"

she blushes and I smiled "Really? You'll date the chubby, acne filled, nerd?" She burst out laughing "Yeah because I was really awkward as well dude. I had braces, bad acne, my hair was awkwardly short and I was extremely skinny" I scoff "No, your way to beautiful to be looking like a mess"

she giggles "I have a photo of my awkward middle school years" she pulls out her phone and finds the picture "Look at me" I held my laughter but mine was worse "Want to see mine? I have no clue why Jackie even dated me? I wasn't even decent looking"

star pushed me slightly "Oh come on..show me" I smiled and looked for the photo as I stopped and showed her my weird middle school picture "Aw look at you, Marco you look cute..your hair was a little short but overall you look good better than me. At least you had body fat..I didn't cause of medications I took while I grew up"

I sigh thinking how a younger star grew up taking medicine everyday while I didn't have to "Yeah.." "How did Janna look?" I smirked and found the picture "That's Janna? No way?" I nodded "Yup, she liked the color pink and had long hair and used to wear dresses..now she's into darker colors and doesn't care anymore" star smiles

"Well she changed for herself right?" I nodded "I guess..Jackie has been flawless since the day I've met her" star nods "Oh I can so believe that..did she always have short wavy hair?" I shook my head "She had long beautiful hair but when we went out some jerk put gum in her hair and she needed to get it cut. She looked even better after that..so she kept the short hair look"

star sighs "Why would they be so mean? I would die if someone put gum in my long hair" I nodded "Well the school I attended was all out of wack and the teachers didn't even care sometimes" star shook her head "I went to a private school, wear uniforms and all" I chuckled "Yeah.."

I looked at star who was looking up at the night sky and I just wanted to kiss her. I moved closer and kissed her cheek. She lowered her head and looked at me and smiled and leaned in and kissed me on my nose "Your silly" she says "Yeah..I am"

I really thought she would kiss me again, I've been dreaming of her kissing me again like before but I know that won't happen again. "It's getting late..I should go" star nods and gets into her wheelchair and I bring her back inside as I helped her into her bed she grabbed my face and kissed me.

I melted into the kiss as she let go "Goodnight Marco" I was flustered and could barely speak "Night..Star" she giggles as I stumble out of her room. I smiled feeling my lips..she kissed me and not because I told her to..
