MAAZ'S POV:

"Areesha died!"

Listening to those appalling words I threw my cell across the room and punched the wall behind me with the force that my knuckles started to bleed, but,

These two word collapsed my world, no, she can't die, I know she is out there somewhere, no, I have to go there and look at this matter myself, I can't trust anyone with this, I have to go there today,

I picked up a cordless from the night stand and called my assistant giving some instructions about the meetings and work today and walked to the kitchen where Nani ma was sitting around the counter having green tea,

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking at me, "Nothing, why did you ask?" I replied, trying to cover myself from her scrutinizing eyes and open the door of the pantry and examined it, searching for the ingredients I wanted, I walked into it and grab some mushrooms, corns, cherry tomatoes and walked back into the kitchen and took out the chicken and some eggs from the refrigerator,

"I can bet on it Maaz, that there is something bothering you, so why don't you just tell me or I will find it out by my own ways" she said smiling,

"Do you want some sausages?"I asked and started to peel the potatoes, she sighed audibly, "Here you go again," she said, rolling her eyes at me making me chuckle, "Okay, don't tell me, but I have heard something about your engagement in the news today, is it true?" she asked, I stopped chopping he onions for mushroom and cheese omelet and turned towards her, "Where did you hear that?" I asked, as was sure I haven't announced my engagement yet, I have given strict orders to keep it a secret for now, I don't want it to be leaked this soon,

"So, it's just another rumor?" she asked me again, "Um.. There is something I want to tell you Nani ma but we will talk about it later, okay," she nodded and took a sip of her tea,

"Did you talk to that girl?" she asked me after a while, "What girl?"

"The one you misbehaved with!" she said,

Damn! Why can't she forget her! If I will bring Areesha here I am sure she will like her, she will fall for her, for Areesha's innocent face the trap she is not aware of, Nani ma will try to convince me to stay with her and I just can't do that, it is not my plan, I will not be able to take my revenge if she will support Areesha, I have to keep her away from Areesha at any cost.

"come, the breakfast is served," I said and place the plate of strawberry pancakes with vanilla icecream on top, along with the cheese and mushroom omelet sandwich, cheesy chicken strips and potato wedges. "Awww... that's so sweet of you my boy, but I was expecting for some desi breakfast, oh how much I miss it!" she said picking up her fork, "You know, I don't cook desi foods," I said and pour myself a coffee, "yeah but you should give it a try some time," she said and I just shrugged my shoulders,"or you can marry a girl who can cook desi food for you," she said smiling, "Come on.." I said, "I know, I know, you don't want to marry anytime soon, but look my child nothing matters more than a family, you are wasting your time to just earn millions everyday but the thing you want most is a family, so go out there and find a girl for yourself, or I will start looking girls for you," she told me, I put down the fork and knife and wipe my mouth with the napkin and motion my servants to leave from the dinning hall, when they all left the room, I glanced at the doors, "There is something I want to tell you, but please don't get too much excited okay!"

"What is it?" Nani ma asked, frowning her eyebrow, "I am getting married next month," I said in a low voice,she squealed like a teenager and walked towards me and kissed my forehead, "Oh that is so great! At last my boy is getting married, may Allah SWT fill your life with happiness and bless both of you, and bless all of us," she said, "Who is she? I want to meet her today," she asked, "Nani ma she is ill, you can't meet her today , maybe next time," I lied and mentally slapped myself to do this to my only blood relation,

"Oh my! What happen to her? Is it serious or just a flu or something?" she asked concerned, "no, it is not that much serious, she is okay now," I replied,

There was a knock on the door and my young maid came in holding cordless in her hand, "Master, there is a call for you," she said, giving me the phone and turned around to walk away, but Nani ma stopped her, "Oh please child, you don't have to call him MASTER, just call him Sir or if you like you can call him Bhai," she said making me choke on my coffee I was drinking while holding a phone with my other hand,

"You okay?" Nani ma asked me, "yes, I am fine" I replied and started talking on the phone,

"No, it's okay Ma'am," maid replied, "no, it's not" Nani ma said, "No one will call him a MASTER anymore got it! tell this to everyone around here," Nani ma said angrily, maid nodded and left, she turned to me when I cut the call, it was just a few minutes business discussions, she hold my hairs in her hands softly, "Are you insane Maaz? They are your helpers not your servants, they help you in your home chores and other stuffs, don't you dare treat anyone like this, they are human beings, respect them," she scolded me, "Okay, okay..." I said raising my hands in air, she glanced at my hands, "What happened to your hand?" she asked, "Nothing just a little wound," I said shrugging my shoulders, "you should take care of your self Maaz, why you are so careless"she said worriedly, I put my hands on her shoulders and stood up, "I am perfectly fine," I assured her, "I have to go out of the city today so, I will be home late, don't wait for me," I said and kissed her forehead before leaving, " May Allah protect you, Be safe beta (Child)" I heard her from my behind.

I came back in my room and dressed in my usual suit and took out a cell phone from the drawer and asked for the preparation, satisfied with all the arrangements I walked down the stairs and out of the house. I dismissed my driver and got in the driving seat and input the address of that Haweli on GPRS and started to drive, it was going to be a long drive this small town was 600 miles away, so it is going to be 7 to 8 hours drive, I glanced back from the rear view mirror and saw my guard's car chasing behind me, satisfied, I increased the pressure, craving to know the truth about Ma'am Maheen and Areesha, one thing is sure, if that investigator lied to me about this, he will spend miserable life ahead and I will make sure of it, I am just few miles away from the truth.

AREESHA'S POV:

I heard a scream which made me to sit up from the floor, there was blood in front of me, but no one was there, this place was familiar,I don't remember coming here, then I heard that scream again and again, I try to scan my surroundings when I realize it was getting hot in here, I try to stand up, but my limbs were weak, I couldn't feel them, my whole body was aching right now, I heard that scream again, calling my name this time, I focus on that voice, it was mama,she was calling me,

"Areesha..!!"

Her voice was laced with pain like she was in some kind of agony, "Mama! Where are you?" I asked, trying to get out of this place, I was on my knees, trying to move but my body was not helping me, I wanted to go out to my mama to help her, but I can't , I pushed myself with all my force and crawl up to the door, I sit up and opened it where I saw high flames and my maid lying down clutching her stomach,covered all in blood and breathing hard, I move towards her quickly and kneel down beside her "Sara! Sara what happened?" I asked her shaking her a bit to wake her up, "Get out of this house Areesha... he...he ..will...." but before she could say anything else I she got limp in my arms, "No, No, Sara wake up please!" I cried out shaking her body but she didn't responded, I heard my mama's voice again, I looked around me, the fire was getting high, I have to get out of here soon and call for help before anyone else dies in here, I stand up again by the help of a chair and carefully started walking from where I heard mama's voice, "Mama!!" I shouted, dodging the flames and continued my walk, "Areesha! Get Adil and leave from here!" I heard her, "No, Mama tell me where are you?" I shouted back and cover my face because from this smoke, it was getting harder to breath in here, I pulled out my scarf and started tying it around my face when I fell down, I quickly got up and saw my hands covered in blood, my whole clothes were bloodied, and just an inch away was a dead body, I screamed loudly looking at it and covered my face with my hands screaming!
