Nathan Rivera's POV

Janet, Valeria and Bella's friendship has gone stronger as they had multiple meet ups. I was very happy by it but what worries me was that Janet leaves the house without me knowing. I mean she informs me that she is leaving but then I have no communication with her. So that is the reason, I was holding a new Android mobile for her. A present for her, I had installed all the things she might need. I input a Sim card and a cover for the mobile as well. I specially told the shopkeeper to wrap the mobile with gift wrapper so I could surprise her.

I was driving my car and on the way to home as I wished she would like it. Janet and my relation has been going strong, I mean I'm still in control. For not fucking her. Well, her innocence is the thing that is pulling me towards her and its pushing me away as well. I want to do it and I don't want to do it. Its complicated.

I parked my car in the garage and walked up the door and unlocked it using my keys. I had the gift in my right hand, hiding it behind my back. I walked towards the bedroom to see her in front of the mirror, combing her silky hair. She turned to face me and gave me a hearty smile as she ran towards me.

"You're back early?" She said as she held my left hand in hers and laid her head on my shoulder. It has been a thing for her, every time I come home she would greet me like this saying that this was a sweet gesture. Well, I prefer a kiss.

"Yeah, didn't have much work." I told her as my right hand roamed around her waist making the gift hid behind her back. Her body was now pressed against mine as I gave her a sly smirk. Her eyes lowered a little and a tint of pink appeared on her nose.

"I have something for you." I whispered in her ear as she slowly nodded. I kept staring at her as she bit her lip. "Close your eyes." She closed her eyes and then I kissed her cheek as I handed her the mobile. Her curious eyes opened and they meet the gift. She gave me a confused look as I encouraged her to open it. She did as I said and her eyes widen when she notice what I bought for her.

"Nathan? This is for me?" She asked yet not believing.

"Yours, all yours." I told her as she grinned and then hugged me tight as her arms wrapped around my neck. My hands stayed on her waist as I so badly wanted to go down but my inner self was not letting me.

"Sit, I'll teach you how to use it. Now we can talk even when I'm not in the house." She giggled and sat on the bed as I stared at her. Her straight hair were addicting and I wanted to have a grip on them. Her small lips should only be on mine. And her body belongs on my bed with me on top of her.

"Thank you so much, Nathan." She said as she hugged me once again, a quick one though. Then she stared at me for a while and leaned in as she gave me a kiss on the cheek. My eyes widened at her act as she started biting her lip again. I wanted to kiss her but. There is always a 'but'. I don't know why am I stopping myself when even she wants me to kiss her. I kept my gaze on her as she watched me with a smile. She had no idea what was going on in my mind as she turned her eyes back to the mobile.

I'm going to do it, I can't stop myself but then she got up from her seat and started walking towards the door as she spoke in excitement.

"I have to tell Bella and Valeria about it." I stayed still as I replayed her kiss in my mind. I got up and was about to go after Janet when my phone rang. I picked it up as it was a unknown number. Maybe someone important.

"Hello?"

"Good evening Mr. Rivera. I am Mr. Roberts assistant and I called to inform you that Mr. Robert will visit you tomorrow 8 sharp in the morning at your office." The woman spoke in a monotone voice. Sean is visiting me this quick? That's surprising.

"Okay thanks for informing." I ended the call and went out to see Janet talking through the landline with Valeria. I walked towards her and took her mobile phone and the landline away from her hands and cut the call as I dialed Valeria's number through her mobile phone while Janet watched me curiously.

"Here, talk from here." I told her with a smile and handed her the mobile as she talked with Valeria. I was actually going to kiss her but poor me. Well, the next time I get a chance to kiss, I won't stop myself.

I opened my eyes as I felt her moving in her sleep. Her hair was splattered over her chest as her chest moved with the rhythm of her breathing. The air that was escaping her lips was something I wanted to take in. I wanted her soft lips on mine and I don't want to leave them till there are swollen. I want her to moan my name as she did when I gave her the hickey. Now there won't be any 'but' as I would do what I feel when I get the chance cause I know that even she won't stop me. My arms were secured around her waist as our lips only a few inches apart. If I lower my head, our lips will touch, this is the last time I'm stopping myself from kissing her.

I turned on my mobile and checked the time. It was almost seven and Sean would visit me at eight. I got out of the bed, carefully as I kissed her cheek.

I took a short shower and got dressed in white crisp shirt with black jeans and my white coat. I quickly put my hair up with the gel and sprayed some perfume. I turned to the face the bed to see Janet facing me with her innocent smile.

"You are leaving early?" She asked even when she knew the answer with her tired and droopy eyes and I knew she was tired. I walked over to her and sat right beside her as she pulled the covers close to her chest as if she was trying to cover herself. My eyes betrayed me and went to her body roaming and learning her every curve that peaked out of the thin duvet. I gulped and forced my eyes to meet hers. She continued to stare at me with confusion, waiting for me to answer as I leaned closer to her.

"Yeah, I have someone coming over to my office in half an hour." I told her as she nodded.

"You should eat breakfast and then go." She said as she sat up on the bed trying to get out of the bed but I stopped her.

"I'll eat in the office. I'm getting late, and you eat as well." She frowned and pouted her lips out and my sight went straight towards her innocent lips. That was my chance to make the move and I did.

I swiftly, took those luscious lips in my mouth and passionately kissed her lips making a gasp escape her lips. I pushed her body against the headboard of the bed and laid my palms of the headboard on the either side of her head. Her juicy lips were undeniably soft as I moved my lips on her. Although she wasn't moving hers and I knew it would take time. I lightly opened my eyes to see her eyes closed as her hands were in mid air, hesitating if she should touch me or not. I pulled away from the kiss and stared at her to find her eyes on me with her cheeks burning as she tried breathing properly. I held her hand with mine and captured her lips in mine again. Her unstable breath were mixed with mine as she squeezed my hands.

I knew all this was new to her and that she would learn in time, that was the reason I will wait till she comfortable to kiss me back. Her lips were still as I kept smooching her upper lip in mine, I pulled away again. Her big brown orbs were watching me with curiosity, I rested my forehead against hers and spoke.

"I'll be early for lunch. Wait for me." My voice came out husky as I cleared my throat. Lastly, I peeked her lips and got up from the bed as her eyes watched me. I winked at her blushing face and turned to leave the room. She needs some time to process what happened and that thought made me smile.

I continued to replay the kiss in my mind as I went to work. As my steps decreased towards the office, my questions grew. I need to ask Sean so many questions about his daughter and most of all, I was angry with him that, how could he let his daughter get abused? Where the hell was he when she was going through this torture?

I entered my office and sat there for a few minutes when Sean entered the room, in his black coat and pants. He walked towards me as I stood up from my chair and waited for him to be seated. He had an excited face as he sat making me curious.

"How is my daughter? I want to know everything about her." He spoke as I turned to look at him with mixed feeling, anger and confusion were the main ones. I tried to remain calm and cleared my throat as I gave him an answer.

"She is fine, very happy with me. Actually better than the life she must have lived." He gave me a confused look with that smile still etched on to his face. I had a blank face and he knew that something was wrong.

"What are you talking about, Nathan?" He asked.

"You should know what I'm talking about." I told him as he curiously looked at me.

"Nathan, get to the point." I wanted to smash him hard but I restrained myself. He was so messed up at this point and had no idea on who was the creating the quarrels. Too oblivious to everything around him.
