Six months in and Tony had no idea what to expect of this child, all he knew it was a girl. He didn't know names to choose, what to do, what she would need. What to get her, so he was pacing the room panicking as pepper his soulmate walked in.

"Tony it's going to be fine, why don't we start small" pepper asked

"But what if small isn't enough?" He asked

"Just start with fixing a room for her, for when she's here" pepper said

"Jarvis, set up a room for the baby" Tony called out

"Right away sir" Jarvis said

In about an hour and a half pepper and Tony were building a crib, setting up toys, and more. They had Jarvis paint the walls so it would fit the girl, but Tony said no to pink but violet was a good color to him. He even made a separate room for her to play in because he may have over bought on the toys. He made sure to be stocked up on diapers, formula, wipes, blankets, clothes and more. He just had to over prepare for the worst in his eyes, and so pepper agreed just to calm his nerves.

Until that day came did he really panic as he waited outside the delivery room pacing. The baby was being born and Addison refused to let him in the room even if it was his daughter too. But once the baby was born he was then allowed inside and he stared at the baby in awe.

"I have a name idea" he finally said nervously

"Well?" Addison asked waiting for a response

"Ophelia" Tony said

Addison smiled, she now realized Tony had actually put effort into this and showed he wanted the baby too. That he actually wanted this baby, to be in her life and that gave Addison all she needed. She knew this baby would be just fine with or without her in her life. Is for sure.

"Ophelia Mary Stark" she said looked down at the baby

"Mary?" Tony asked shocked

"Your mother's name was Mary right?" Addison asked softly with hope in her eyes

"Yes" Tony said with a soft smile

And with that they smiled at the baby and it was official, Ophelia Mary Stark had been born on June 16th and was a fully healthy baby girl.

Tony had spent time with Ophelia for a few weeks now when Addison got out of the hospital. But today was off when he found Ophelia in her bed and Addison was gone. A note was left on Ophelia's crib that had Addison handwriting on it.

Dear Tony,

I couldn't do it, I had to return to my home, keep an eye on her will you. I know she will have a better life with just you and those avengers around her. I know she'll be taken care of with everything she needs that you can give her. When she asks about me just say I went on a business trip only of course if I'm gone that long. I give you props for finally wanting her and to be in her life, but I never truly wanted this. I didn't want to leave but my family back in Scotland called me home and I have a duty to fulfill and I can't involve her in this. It's too dangerous of a world lately and I can't risk her dying because of a silly mistake I could make. So please forgive me and I hope she's well cared for and loved by you and those people around you both.

Tony couldn't believe it, he was furious that Addison left her unattended while he was busy. He was furious she left back to Scotland without a single thought about it. He grew hatred for the women, who leaves their child without a care in the world. And to say she was going back to family was even worse because Ophelia was her child, she should be considered part of that family. But no Addison left in quite a hurry and avoided anyone and everyone to get out without being seen or questioned. The cameras had been turned off for a few moments just enough to give Addison time to disappear without a word or trace.

"Pepper" Tony shouted causing the baby to stir

"Tony what's wrong?" Pepper asked

"Addison left, she left Ophelia to us without a fucking care in the damn world" Tony was still angry about it all

"Don't worry Tony, we can help" Natasha said as she stepped inside the babies room

"Yes sir stark we shall help" Thor said

"I'm fully prepared" Clint said

And once again Tony was grateful for the little avenger family he created here. He had Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Thor, Steve plus himself and pepper. He looked at Ophelia who was now in Natasha's arms giggling as she reached to touch Natasha's cheek it was adorable.
