Lucy put her headphones on which were now smelling of sweat and other sh*t since Lucifer takes it out every day during the days after her exams which were considered a vacation.
She looked at it weird and hesitantly put it over her ears, wiping anything out of place it had.
"Ew"
She walked down the roads of her hometown, she set her phone on the songs she downloaded recently.
Lucy grinned like a clueless kid who had free candy right after she heard the first few lines of her new favourite song.
The song that somehow felt connected to her.
But it also caused her to nearly bang into three light poles....
She went on her merry way, to buy some more snacks to help her mom, Rebecca bake some more of her cookies.
Lucy makes a battlefield in the kitchen counter whenever she uses it, so her mother forbid her from the premises she works on.
She stopped a second, thought about her mom with a spatula on her hands, spanking her palms.
She snickered about it as she moved on, sensing someone following her.
She stole glances behind her back and saw.....
How did Lucifer look like he had been pricked with a needle and had deflated?
"Heyo!" The imposter waved at her, as if he knew her.
"Lucy! I failed in my exams!" The guy yelled jovially as he picked up pace and ran towards her, with his face being awfully the face that says, "I know you! C'mere!".
Lucy ran.
She ran as fast as she could as the music seemed like a far cry of happiness and a holler of panic.
"Wait! Why are you running?!" He ran behind her, already guessing what happened.
Either Lucifer dyed his hair pink or he's out somewhere far.
He guessed it'd be the second.
But he decided to chase her, since he wanted to be with her.
"I'm gonna kidnap you and then torture you!" He ran behind her.
But since, she wasn't waiting for the real Lucifer to rescue her this time, since she was tired of being the one saved, she used her familiarity of the streets to her advantage.
She sprinted her songs to a very specific playlist.
The ones used in emergencies only.
The Sonic theme song played as she almost blazed through the city while not even caring for the traffic, vaulting and dodging the vehicles.
But the same wasn't said for the other dude.
He had to stop the other cars from squishing her as his energy stared to drain his stamina.
And at one point, Lucy slowed down, to catch her breath as he skid to a halt, failing miserably and crashing into a hot dog stand in front.
"Sh*t!" He yelled as the next few moments were spent of Lucy dying of laughter and the "Imposter" wiping off the mustard off his hair.
"~So....." She said in a singsong voice.
Lucy forgot why she was running from him......
Airhead alert. She totally forgot what happened a few moments ago.
"Who the f*ck are you?" She placed a hand on his chest.
Her laughter silenced.
She felt a beat.....
She looked at him, to which his face changed from a concerned one to a stupid grin.
"I'm the Newcomer who sits in front of you!" He smiled, as Lucy began to be more confused.
"Wait. If he's the guy who I've been with at school, where was Lucifer? Is he lying about something?"
She suddenly remembered to take her hands off his chest.
"Oops. Sorry" Her eyes looked at a distant possibility but it was mainly focusing on Micheal behind the Newcomer.
"You haven't been exc-" He put a hand on the student as he turned to look at Michael.
Both of them froze.
"He's not Lucifer"
"He's an Angel....." His feelings started to take control as he pleaded his inner demon to stay put.
"Stop. Don't g-give i-i-in" He closed his fists and clenched it so hard, pangs of pain shot up his arms.
But his attempts turned futile when he blacked out.
"Hey, Lucy! Micheal!" Lucifer shouted, as he got immediate control of his conscience.
He ran upto the group and held out a cookie, flaunting his hair to Micheal while at it.
"Your dad's cooking is disaster." He spared a glance at Lucifer to see him winking at him.
"Thank you" He said as he said in an embarrassed tone.
"Oh! Look at the time! I gotta go take a dump!" The Newcomer ran as fast as his legs could carry him as Lucifer dragged a very confused Micheal and an very angry Lucy to the department store to get some dough.
Lucifer didn't like how Micheal reacted to his Clone of sorts.
Something seemed off.
But it really wasn't, since he was made to be like Lucy.
A person with bad memories, to be out with it simply.
