Ahira's pov

"Are you sure that we should move out today? " I asked for I guess the hundredth time from last three hours.

Its been like 2 weeks after that incident and since then Ahaan started his hunt for an apartment.
And now that he finally found one he wants to move in as soon as possible but I don't understand what's the rush? Anyways I am going in a week or two and I want to be here despite of all the taunts given by my father.

And now talking about my mother, she is a conservative lady, only talks when needed and till now she has never interfered in any of dad's and Ahaan's argument or ever took mine or amira's side in any of the fights. I at times wonder if she's even my real mom or not.

"I am damn sure, now no more discussion and go pack your bags fast!!! " He said and again started stuffing his clothes in his suitcase.

"But- "

"No buts and ifs ahira, just go and do as yi say" He said and literally pushed me out of the room.

I sighed seeing no option but to follow Ahaan because he is the only person I can lean on during my worst. Neither mine nor Ahaan's childhood was ever easy. he learned to live ignoring the taunts and arguments that took place daily but on the other hand I was too much affected by all these things.

Ahaan always says '' Ignorance is a bliss '' , and somewhere I know it is. But at times I just can't ignore all these things.

I blocked all the negative thoughts and started packing my things. Ahaan had said the apartment is fully furnished and has two bedrooms. I know the rent would be a big deal, so I'll have to find a job as soon as I get to Pune.
I can't ignore Ahaan's struggles. He always shows himself as strong but I know he too has his breakdowns.

"Ahira lunch is ready" Ahaan said entering in my room and I nodded. I went out while ahaan followed me behind with my bags in his hand.

"Why are you bringing these? " I asked frowning.

"We are going immediately after lunch" He answered while I shook my head.

"You are rushing Ahaan" I said and resumed walking.

"I just want to get out" He said. I rolled my eyes, because he is really overreacting.

"So i heard you are going" Dad started.

"Yeah" Ahaan replied curtly.

"Get out as soon as possible" He said and stood up.
Ouch!! That hurts!!
Though I knew this was coming.

Through out all these mom was quite as always while Amira was smirking at us. Ahaan glared at her and stood up walking past mom. Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes but she hid it behind her smile.

"So,goodbye" Amira said while I glared at her and stood up leaving my food.

"Ahira complete it my dear" Mom said. I smiled at her.

"I've lost my appetite mom" I said and strode out from there.

And soon it was time to go. Dad wasn't home nor was Amira. I hugged mom and Ahaan did the same for formality and went out.

"Take care of him. He only listens to you Ahira. Tell him to be in contact with me. And I'm sorry for all things you had to go through" She said.
Mm.. Am I hearing things? Like I guess this was the longest my mom would have talked to me till now.

"Its ok mom" I replied and went towards Ahaan who was leaning against the car waiting for me. I sat inside and we drove off without looking back.

"Huh!!! Finally out of the hell!! " He exclaimed. While the driver was giving us you-guys-ran-away look.

"Bhai you are over reacting. " I said.

"I asked Affan to clean the house. All the furniture are already there so no need to worry about that and... " He was ranting about how we are going to manage and all while I stayed quite.

Life is so unpredictable. It gives you surprises after every turn. It lets you taste every thing that you hate and love. There is no human in the whole world who would have not learned something from his life. Every person has a story to tell and an experience to share.

Soon we were in front of an elite apartment, which seemed quite hefty.

I raised my brows and looked at Ahaan.

"Don't worry I am getting paid enough money plus I am planning something. " He said and entered in the lift while I followed him like a lost puppy.

We entered the house and my jaw dropped to the floor seeing the interior. There was a living room and a dinning hall with open kitchen to the left of it. And to the right there was a hallway which leads to two bedrooms, each one at either side and a study at the end.

"Ahaan!!! What is this? And how much is the rent?" I asked him.

He awkwardly smiled at me while scratching the nape of his neck. I am sure that he's hiding something from me.

"You know right, iy never wasted money and saved it since childhood" He said.

"Don't beat around the bush!!! " I glared at him.

"I bought this house"

"What!!! From where did you get this much money? " I asked.

"I took loan and besides I had some money in my savings and also my two years salary which I never used including dad's half pocket money" He said shrugging and my eyes were wide open.

"You didn't thought to tell this to me? " I asked, my hands on my hips.

" I thought to give you a surprise " He smiled awkwardly.

"Nice one " I smiled. It was indeed a nice one.

He smiled too.

"Can I choose my room? " I asked.

"Of course" He said and sat on the couch closing his eyes.
I started my tour and liked the room which had a better view from the balcony.

"Ahi, I'm going out and I'll bring the dinner so have some rest " He said and went out.

I closed the door behind him and sighed. There are lot of things that I have to do!! I sighed and entered my room for taking some rest.

It was a beautiful room with a small but cozy bed and a wardrobe to its left side and a bathroom adjacent to it. And to the right there is a balcony giving a beautiful view of the city.

I smiled and laid on the bed closing my eyes soon drifting to the land of dreams.
