I was finally able to help Funneh. Her smoke thinned.

"Are you struggling with anything?" I asked.

"In school?" She asked.

"No. In your physical life." Funneh sighed.

"Well...My brother is in the hospital. I don't know what I love anymore. I am placed under a lot of stress. I don't know what fun feels like anymore...I have to stay perfect...I have to stay as the best..."

"There's no such thing as perfect," I told her.

"Of course there is!" Funneh said.

"Everything and everyone has their own mistakes and that is what makes what they are, who they are.

"I guess, but there is such thing as best."

"True, but if you think that you'll be happiest when you're the best at something, then you'll never be happy. No one is the best at something." Funneh waited.

"How about your brother?"

"His name is Allen or Draco. He has a Cancer that is affecting him. We're trying to raise enough money for his hospital bills. But we haven't even made it halfway..."

"Is that why you don't know what fun feels like or what you love and why you're under a lot of stress?"

"Yea," Funneh said.

"Everyone has flaws and you're brother has a big flaw. But there are people with bigger flaws, but they keep fighting and your brother is too."

"You think?" Funneh asked. I nodded. "Thanks Alec." She smiled. Her smoke thinned once more.

As I left, I thought to myself...To be honest...I actually kinda like Funneh. She's kind, she's generous, she's funny and well...Cute...I shook my head, my face warm.

The next day was bring your parents to school day. Apparently, Felicia is the daughter of the head of the education department. Funneh however, brought her two sisters.

"They don't look like your parents," Felicia said when her mom wasn't looking.

"I asked and Principal Desu said I could bring my sisters instead."

"Like you, they have freaky hair colors," Felicia snickered. "But Pink hair is actually cool! Come with me!"

"No! And don't talk to my little sister like that!" Rainbow said. Felicia just smirked and walked away. I headed over to them.

"Hi Alec! Where are your parents?" Gold asked. "And I've been meaning to ask. Is Aly your sister or something? You two share the same last name."

"Yea. Me and Aly are siblings and my parents couldn't come," I lied.

"Oh! That's alright," Gold said.

"So we'll be attending your classes?" Rainbow asked.

"Yep!" Gold replied.

"Hi guys!" Kyran came running over.

"Oh Lunar!" This is our Manga weeb, Kyran and Kyran. This is our Anime sister, Wenny or you could call her Lunar.

"We'll be great friends!" Lunar said.

"Me and Lunar will go to my classes and Rainbow can go to Funneh's classes," Gold said.

"Alright," Rainbow agreed. After a few minutes, Funneh said she had to use the restroom. We waited outside for her. "Do you like my little sister?" Rainbow asked.

"W-Wait- What?" I asked. I felt my face heating up.

"You're blushing! You do like her!" Rainbow squealed.

"Who likes who now?" I turned and saw Evelyn.

"Alec likes Funneh!" She sang.

"No I don't!" I yelled, my face getting hotter. Funneh came out of the bathroom, her face red. She obviously overheard us.

"Hey Pink girl!" Felicia was at our table.

"What?" Rainbow asked.

"Why don't you sit with me? My mom is the head of the education department!"

"Nah. I'd rather not," Rainbow said. "So ANYWAYS! Gold? What is the theme for the beauty pageant again?"

"Dancer," she replied.

"That's easy!" Lunar said. "Just steal Funneh's leopard and skirt!"

"Hey!" Funneh exclaimed.

"How was your drawing contest Lunar?" Gold asked.

"First place with flying colors!"

"How about your cooking competition?"

"First Place with a Strawberry Cake, Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Cake. I even brought some!" Rainbow said. She reached into a plastic bag and carefully pulled out 3 cakes! As soon as she opened them, a heavenly aroma filled the cafeteria and everyone diverted their attention to our table.

"You could start a business with this!" Kai said.

"W-Wait- What?" I asked. I felt my face heating up.

"You're blushing! You do like her!" Rainbow squealed.

"Can I have some?" A girl from Felicia's table was at our table. Felicia was there, glaring at her.

"Sure!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Which Flavor?"

"Umm...Chocolate?" Rainbow cut the cake and reached in her bag to pull out paper plates. She gave the cake to her.

"How did you know people would want some?!" Lunar exclaimed.

"My cakes always catch people's attention," she said with satisfaction. All of a sudden, everyone began crowding our table and Me, Evan, Kyran, Prince, Aly, Ayano, Valerie, and Evelyn had to start helping. Soon enough, there was only one slice of cake left. She put it away. Just then, Principal Desu was at our table.

"Betty right?"

"Yep!" Rainbow said.

"How would you like to help out in the Kitchen?" She asked. "We'll pay you 30 dollars a week."

"Deal!" Rainbow said.

A week later at cooking class, Rainbow was at the front.

"Your cooking teacher will be absent for the week, so I'll be taking his place. Now. What do you want to learn how to make?"

"How about your cakes?!" Shouted a girl in the front.

"Sure!"

"Typical Kimberly," Rainbow said as she passed by. Gold's cake was burning.

"It's Crispy!" She said.

"Sureeeeeeeeeee," Valerie giggled.

Funneh seemed to be having fun these days. Her smoke thinned and thinned. That was when Felicia dared Funneh to jump from the diving board after class at the local swimming pool. If Funneh did, Felicia would stop taunting her for a week. Funneh accepted and Gold who overheard began yelling.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU FELICIA?! YOU KNOW SHE IS AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!" Funneh and I were the only ones there. Felicia wanted a picture as proof so Funneh gave me her phone. Gold was fighting with Felicia outside with Kyran helping her. Funneh looked afraid to jump into the water. She then toppled over!

"FUNNEH!" I screamed. She screamed as she plummeted towards the ground. I was then engulfed in white light and my shadow caught Funneh and she stumbled out of my shadow.

"W-What was that?!" She exclaimed. She looked up at me.

"W-Well..." I began explaining.

"But angels aren't real!" She whispered.

"I'm real," I said.

"But you could be lying," Funneh said.

"Then how do you explain the shadow?" Funneh fell silent. "It is my job to help you Funneh. And I can't help you if I don't know your problems." Just then Gold bursted in, tears streaming down her face.

"KATHERINE!" She cried. "WENNY CALLED!"

"What's wrong Kim?!"

"It reached Allen's heart..."

Funneh threw on her Jacket over her swimsuit and ran into the lockers for a few seconds before coming out with jeans. I used my shadow to teleport outside the hospital. I turned myself invisible. A few minutes later, Gold and Funneh scrambled out of a car and ran into the hospital. I slipped in. I followed them to Draco's room. Her smoke now was thick.

"We have to do the surgery now!" A doctor was saying. "But unfortunately, you don't have enough money. I willed myself visible out of sight and dug my hand into my pocket and pulled out a few hundred dollars. They were off by a majority...

"Maybe this will help?" I asked.

"Alec?!" Funneh exclaimed.

I handed over the money.

"Exactly what they need."

"Alec. You can't do this," Lunar said.

"I insist. It's for your little brother."

"Thank you," Rainbow whispered. I waited with Funneh and her siblings throughout the night. Funneh ended up sleeping on my shoulder. (OooOoOOo) She looked kinda cute.

It was 5AM when I woke up. Funneh wasn't next to me anymore. I went outside and saw her on the Hospital steps, tugging on her hair.

"Funneh?" I asked.

"Hi Alec," she said without looking up.

"What's wrong?"

"If you're a guardian angel, why couldn't you help Allen?"

"I'm your guardian angel Funneh. And we don't have that ability..." I noticed a white light and looked up to see a copper haired girl rise up out of a shadow. She saw us and looked surprised. On her wrist was a light blue bracelet similar to mine...There were already two feathers. She walked over.

"Hi!" Funneh looked up. "I'm Aria Blue (I'm going to be using some things from the actual book...)."

"I'm Alec and this is Katherine or Funneh," I said. "You're also a Guardian Angel," I said. Lately I had gotten two cyan feathers.

"I just have to help one more girl and I'm done with my mission!" Aria chirped.

"I only have to help Funneh." Aria studied her smoke. "Her smoke thinned a lot recently," she said. "But why are you here?" Aria asked.

"My little brother has Osteosarcoma," Funneh said with a frown.

"The first girl I helped had the same problem. Her name is Gabby."

"What did she do about it?" Funneh asked.

"She did what she loved most."

"I wish I could do that," Funneh said.

"Why do you say that?" Aria questioned.

"I have dance competitions to help my family. We payed for Allen's surgery with Alec's help, but we're struggling with money for food, rent and education."

"Sounds like the girl I'm helping now! Her name is Mikayla

I looked down at the steps...They were gray...I looked at Funneh. It was clear that her favorite color is blue. I touched the steps with my fingers and as if spreading out, the steps turned light blue like Aria's bracelet. Funneh smiled weakly.

"Color always cheers people up!" Aria said. "I learned that! Wanna be friends?"

"I guess," Funneh said.

Aria then took out a phone.

"What is your passion?"

"Gaming..." Aria handed Funneh her phone. I looked over and saw that many gamers got over a million dollars each month.

"S-So you're saying that following my passion can help my family?"

"If you're not doing what you love, then you're not accomplishing anything (I MADE DAT QUOTE UP! IT MINE- If u wanna use it, pls ask me and pls give meh credit if you do)," I said.

"I'll try..." Her smoke thinned a bit and Aria smiled. She entered the hospital. After a few minutes, we went inside too.

"The surgery was succesful!" Lunar hugged her older sister tightly.

"You sacrificed the most for us Funneh. Thank you," she whispered.

"Anything for my family..."

I guess my advice worked. Funneh's smoke thinned and thinned. Soon, there was only three wisps of smoke left. But what were they for. Soon, I found out.

"Katherine," her mom said. I stood behind Funneh, invisible. "The auditions are tomorrow. You have to practice."

"I know mom," Funneh said. I followed her to the basement where shelves of trophies sat and hangers of medals. She turned on her music.

. . .

I was there with her siblings as Funneh danced stiffly. But then she tripped on something and yelled out as she tumbled over, off the stage.

"KATHERINE!" Rainbow yelled. We pushed the onlookers away. Felicia and the other dancers ran down the steps. I recognized Aria with another girl.

"Are you okay?!" Gold asked. Allen who was now out of the hospital, looked at his sister, concerned. She tried standing up, but yelped and fell into my arms. Aria and her friend came over.

"I think she sprained her ankle!" Rainbow said.
