Juniper (6)

Vigours wasn't the word that could describe the sights she saw that morning. There was a heaviness that seemed familiar. Something that caught the highs of her breaths as they filled her. To the lows that seeped out of her lungs. Yet her breaths were heavy and her breasts were flattened. Short bursts of air floated on her skin seeming to be on a rhythmic clock. Much like she remembered yet there was such supple skin grazing against hers that it seemed off.

At last, her eyes shot open as she saw the black hair tickling her chin. A smooth base that caused the compression she was familiar with.

"James..." she wondered as she called out to him.

Still, the dense mass of him didn't move an inch. Even fixing his posture as he grew more comfortable.

She shifted her weight to try and get rid of him but this heap of men stayed by her side.

Eventually, she stopped fighting him and stayed there. Not exactly mad about the embrace. Kinda reminding her of a time when peace meant something. Until the tranquility was broken from her grasp.

Eventually, the silence was broken when the door became aggravated. Besides, it was just the servant at the door.

*Knock Knock*

"Madam. Good morning!" she stated as she bowed at the bodies piled in the bed. As she placed herself in front of the vast set of windows that allowed a gaiety of sunshine to engulf the room's coldness.

There was an understanding that the servant understood. If there is something unexplainable then just keep walking but she was different. She stood with her ear to the door on any occasion.

Yet there placed a vanity that sat adjacent to the magnificent wide-range view that was seen from them.

"I'm ready for you ma'am." as she placed a diverse set of pins and a silver-lined brush on the stable table.

These voices cause a disturbance in someone's beauty sleep. He swayed awake to find the extra set of eyes on him. He looked back and forth to see what their expression was. Until he realized where he was previously positioned.

He jumps up out of the bed causing him to pick up his breeches off the floor. Panting towards Ida and the servant. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I had fallen asleep... let alone fondle you."

After that was said you could hear a small chuckle escape the servant's lips from across the room. Making him feel angry towards her, making fun of this incident. "Don't you understand privacy?" he spat before he stepped towards her. As well as Ida slipping out of the bed and sitting at the vanity.

"I understand it quite well sir. Although when I sleep in someone else's bed I usually leave before they get back." seemingly admitting her scandalous past.

"Hhhm" was the only thing heard from the room from Ida. Normally she didn't allow anyone to talk to her servant like that but her response said a lot of truth. Making this response the reason he left the room in a hurry and allowed her to get Ida ready for the day.

"Let us get started." making haste to the already spirited day.

The gown that was placed on her was bundled together with a corset and sky-high heels that sucked her feet into place. Her breathing was limited and her face felt ten years younger from the lift her hair got. Yet when she looked at herself no pain could compete with her outstanding figure that was illuminated by that dress. The juniper shade filled the entirety of the dress. Alongside the pedals that were scattered throughout and were accompanied by a gorgeous lace that hemmed the cuff line and neck.

Ida placed her hands on her hip and then slid up to her bosom. Trying to take in the dress in its entirety. Every groove felt in place and nothing could change that. Making her almost wonder.

"If this dress fits to perfection, then my wedding gown will be perfect."

Then she stepped down from her imaginary high horse and walked towards that door.

Even though she couldn't breathe she walked with her head held high. The once lust-filled, dark hallways now radiated a bountiful amount of sun. It showed off the engraved walls that sprouted inspiration from its indentations.

The creaks from the floorboard now seemed as if they were singing a majestic song only played for Ida herself. Making the once haunting sounds of movement into the happiness found in every step.

As her foot lifted off the last step the tension from her shoes wasn't gone but easier to maintain. However, the quickness in her feet seemed to become smoother as she stepped closer to the dining room. Two guards were standing high with their chests pointing out. Waiting for Ida to come closer to the door. Once she was there they lifted their feet off the floor and turned to open the weighted door.

It wasn't as giant or magical as last night, nevertheless, there was plenty of room for dozens of servants to walk around. The placements weren't stretched far out however they were close enough to cause close interaction.

Whilst she came closer to the table there stood her servant James. He patiently waited for everyone to arrive as he stood behind Ida's seat. He avoided eye contact with her and just had a small smile. But there was no escaping it, he must talk to her.

"Fine day isn't it James?" she asked as she touched the top back of the chair.

"Fine day indeed." with a bit of shakiness in his voice.

"Don't worry I won't punish you for being close to my bosom during the night. If I were a man sleeping next to me I would do the same" she said with a mischievous grin.

Her comment made him hang his head even deeper and quickly pull out her chair for her.

As soon as she stood in front of the chair. They opened the door to an unfamiliar face. Her quite dark brown hair made it a bit hard to identify her until you look into her eyes. They were quite similar to Emmett. Causing that moment of confusion into a knowing thought.

She placed herself across from Ida and locked eyes with her. Almost surveying her body from head to toe. Making sure she was seeing every imperfection. Yet she said nothing. Making even the mice in the castle seem louder than the room. But her expressions made her thoughts rattle throughout the room.

She sat before the king had arrived and didn't give a second thought. Ida's expression didn't change but her mind laughed at her improper practices. Although everyone in the room stood and stared at her. What? Were they going to speak out against the sister of the king?

No.

But Ida's thoughts stayed simple. "When do I obtain such power? When I let the King fuck me?" she thought as she hid the chuckle from the idea.

His sister looked at her at that moment. Wondering what her whole ordeal was. Yet Ida hid her expression before she was seen. Almost fully turning her head back towards James.

But as her head seemed to turn back straight she heard the door begin to open. Both doors swung open and the king entered with his servants following tightly behind him. He noticed the one person sitting and sent a small glare their way. Nevertheless, he approached his seat and sat in it. Thinking nothing more of the previous events.

He quickly sat and studied what was laid in front of him. While he said nothing.

Although the activist seemed to have everything to say.

Oh, how quickly her mood seemed to shift in front of the king but he just sat and listened to everything she spat out of her mouth. From the new beginnings to the new plants that the servants have planted in the new conservatory. Her smiles radiated across to Emmett yet no one else felt this way towards her.

"Wouldn't bringing plants from around the world make you excited?" she questioned him as everyone's plates filled with delightful morning pleasantries.

"It would for me." James said quietly across the table. Causing everyone to look towards him. Whilst their cutlery clinked onto their plates.

He looked at everyone's expressions for a moment and realized that he was heard. Quickly making him mentally sink into his chair for a moment. Until...

Quickly looking towards Ida for her approval. She gave him a small nod to continue.

"I think that everyone and every new plant deserves a place in this castle. Which is all possible by my brother." As she filled her mouth with the food on her plate.

"Hopefully everything has a place and a room to grow." He said with a small smile.

"Everything will fit perfectly now that we are here." Ida voiced as she looked towards the active sister.

She looked at Emmett and seemed to ignore Ida's comment. Almost as if Ida didn't say anything at all. It wasn't something that Ida had expected but it wasn't more than she could handle. As she raised a brow towards her she continued to eat whilst waiting for a reaction.

Emmett looked at his sister patiently. Waiting for her response to Ida's statement. Though there wasn't anything said.

"Anyway, what are our plans for today?" completely neglecting the past conversation causing Ida and James to lose their interest in the once cheery "princess".

"I would assume what she means is you will bring new beginnings into this castle and will be respected doing so." Making him nod at Ida and scowl at his sister.

She quickly faces the other way and finishes up her plate.

"As for your itinerary today Prudence, you will be assisting Ida with her selections for the wedding. Everything is her choice but you must help with minimal things such as tastings." He said towards her and quickly stood. "As for James he will go to the conservatory and learn from the servants to know the land." Causing James to almost jump up out of his seat.

Emmett walked down from the room and exited the room as swiftly as he came into it. Along with his servants who joined him.

"Shall we start down the halls and get started?" Ida said with a surprisingly pleasant voice.

Which was followed by a grunt and dashing feet clacking on the floor.

With no surprise, Ida Ensley was still sucked into her dress and wasn't moving with ease. Not that she was earlier although it seemed that her eating caused much more stomach issues than needed. As James pushed her chair back in she looked him in the eye. "As soon as you're back you will be mine." Causing a hick to be lodged back into his throat.

They walked back down those marbled hallways and were placed into a smaller room with several tables. These tables were placed fairly spaced apart with several different place settings and centerpieces.

"Hello, Madam. The charming woman said. She led them to the tables and simply picked a plate up. "The dinner placements are needed today, Madam. We wanted to know what you would choose." Making sure that she was speaking as clearly as possible.

"Here we have Silver Plates and cutlery cast by our silversmiths. Next, there is Gold plated and white lined with art of peony flowers on each plate. Alongside epergnes that can fit any design you choose." she said as she softly placed every plate back into place.

"You painted every peony on a plate by the morning?" Ida asked with a surprised look on her face.

"No, we had every flower painted just in case you liked different ones, madam." With a serious look on her face.

"I will choose the Peony place setting. Alongside silver bottoms. She stated as she strutted to the next table.

There sat every type of cake and dish any guest could eat that night.

"First we will start with the main course. ." As she picked up the first dish to try.

Immediately Ida points to the fish that spreads widely on the table. Almost standing far from it. "That must be taken away at once, fish could kill me." She said bluntly making the servants take away the dish immediately from the table.

"Sorry, Madam, we should've known." whilst placing the next 3 dishes onto the table. As she tasted them into her mouth she froze after each one. Some with a crazy amount of flavors and others with no taste at all.

"I will do the Lamb and Chicken dishes only. The other ones can go."

As they took the table away there came the cake table.

"Here Madam we have three selections you must try. A Charlotte Russe, Battenberg, and Victoria sponge. All made from our very own pastry chef.

As she was headed to grab the first piece Prudence handed her the slice. "I'm here to help as well. No need to do it all on your own." she said as she placed the cake into her hands.

"Thank you but it isn't necessary. " Making her cut a slice with her fork and lodged the piece onto her fork. Once she placed the piece into her mouth she noticed on her plate a bed of strawberries.

Ida dropped her plate onto the ground making the plate instantly shatter. Causing everyone in the room to jump back from the fright.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME? FIRST THE FISH NOW STRAWBERRIES!" Making the servant quickly pick up the shards and throw them in a bin.

"Madam I can assure you no one is trying to kill you. She looked at the spilled strawberries spillage on the floor. Making her regret the decisions that were made today.

"WHERE IS THE KING?" making the room duck from the anger that came from her.

"He is busy madam."

"Not busy enough to talk to me about someone trying to kill me," she said as she walked out of the door and slammed her feet into the ground. The once full feeling she had in her stomach was completely gone. Now filled with rage that couldn't be stopped.

As she came close to the King's door she waited for the doors to be opened. Yet they didn't, the guards that stood there looked at her with confusion.

"Open the door now.!" she demanded but they didn't seem to make them budge.

"Why are you just standing there? Open the door!"

"Madam the doors must remain closed until the king is finished with all business conducted inside." Making sure not to make eye contact with Ida for his safety.

"OPEN THE DOOR NOW!"

Causing them to open the door immediately.

As she entered she saw that Emmett had a portrait in his hand. Seemingly being the image she had painted. One hand held onto it tightly whilst the other seemed to be missing.

Yet from the confusion caused by her entering, he was startled for a second and quickly stood.

"Do you choose to insult me?" he asked as he was standing.

"Insult you? Ha... What's insulting me is allowing your servants to give me something that will kill me.

"Kill you? Does death cause you to be absent-minded to your king?" He said with folded arms.

"Yes. As it will you when your servants poison you." She admits as she paces towards him.

This action causes him to stand right in front of her. Even with several buttons unhinged from his pantaloons.

He stared at her immensely, never losing the sight of her button eyes to leave his. Watching as they stammered between his own set. Almost losing his face as he saw her expression. Her eyes soon wandered down towards his lined buttons. Making him follow as if the hypnotized does a watch.

As he stood looking down at himself he swiftly turned as did she. Making the room become hot and his cheeks turn into a bottle of red ink that has tipped on its side.

As he finished off his last few buttons he huffed out a response. "Take me to them at once." Making the already erotic room more than less inhabitable.

His feet were as fluid as molten glass is to gravity above a bucket of water. Nothing could be worse than his castle trying to bring its demise. Could there be someone with so much hatred to try and kill Ida Ensley before her fair ruling? Even before she could officially see the King's penis?

"I've forgotten how big this castle is. Maybe being placed into your own corner of the world here makes you disoriented." she thought as they raced towards the dining area.

As the castle floors shifted from wooden planks that were shaped from century-aged wood. There laid marble that only the finest of royals could import. From the usual creaking that allowed itself to be heard under a shift in weight. Is then silenced from the steadily placed marble that allows a give that wood can't. Giving those a chance to operate in silence a silence that evokes peace and wonder. A wonder that gets a few killed from their curiosity. Who knew a castle with near-infinite opportunities evoked death in the same room?

Mind racing and heart trying to outpace these impeding thoughts was King Emmett. His footsteps were now muffled. He tried to stay silent as he faced the servant who caused this tyrant.

"Speak before you enter an early grave." which caused an expression that was now burned into everyone's memory.

"Your majesty, I didn't try to kill Madam Ensley, there must have been a mistake." she pleaded to her king.

"I will see if your loyalty is true," he said as he gestured for two of his guards to come close.

"Put her into a cell until she confesses," he said as the two guards dragged her away making her fall to her knees before being taken easily.

This caused Ida to be stunned by her screams as they dragged her to the ground.

"I won't kill her... yet." he said as he walked towards the stairs that they previously flew down.
