This chapter might not have more of shivika, but it was needed to move the plot further .But don't worry ,this book is on shivika so definitely we would get them entirely as the story progresses 👍

He felt surreal ,how did she have his picture? She has already fallen asleep. His mind was surrounded with more questions making him burst out of confusion, he was continuously moving his eyes here and there gathering his mind to sort out things. Suddenly he felt her grip on his wrist ,he looked at her who stirred slightly to position herself comfortably. And within few seconds she took his hand closer and laid his palm beneath her cheeck and rested quietly.

He remained reactionless, as she fetched his palm for warmth . True that he liked the feel which evolved in him at that instant on feeling her skin ,but what about those nurses there, who were passing curious looks on the duo . He wouldn't want anyone gossiping around about them ,he looked at her before trying to pull his hand back .

The moment he pulled back ,he noticed her making frowning faces .

A- I have none ...but you ,

He heard her whisper these words subconsciously. His heart directly captured her need for him which she claimed for ,the reaction which his face held clearly depicted that he was voicing out something determinantly within him ...maybe " I'll be with you forever" could have been those words too!

Rushing into his room ,he grabbed the handle of his wardrobe and opened it at once . He pushed all his clothes outside to find the envelope kept beneath . His eyes froze with the sight infront , even his pupil remained motionless for a few seconds as they captured the photo within . It was...it was her ,

P- shivaay ? When did you return ?

She asked as she entered ,and noticed him holding annika's photo .

P- haaye haaye! Atleast now you decided to see this ,thank God! Acha ye bathao ,kaisi hai ye ? Bahut pretty lag rahi haina ? You won't reject if you meet her once ,simple si hai par bahut pyaari ladki hai .

He didn't reply , she shook his shoulders .

S- mom ,mom ? Just tell me one thing, when did you meet her lastly?

He questioned her eagerly ,

P- I don't remember the date correctly, but it was during the last month end .

S- you met her family too?

P- ji ,uske papa, mumma aur ek choti behen bhi hai uski.

She stated ,and he reacted being shocked.

She opened her eyes , and looked around to find herself in the clinic room . Soon everything which happened a few hours back flashed in her mind . His screams to the doctor. How impatiently he reacted on seeing her in pain ,she remembered everything. Oh my God! where is the photo which she had kept secretly? Did she ?

She was worried ,what if she had told him the truth in her subconscious state?
That's when she heard the staffs to be discussing about the Minister ( who was attacked )

" yeah ,it was a critical case but they have saved him somehow "

She felt her blood boiling to high temperatures, as soon as she heard it . She crushed the bedspread with her fists and gritted her teeth in grudge. " I've to go from here somehow " she made an announcement to herself while her sight wandered around in search of a scope.

P- why are you asking so many questions shivaay ? Ladki pasand aayi ki nahi?

S- mom ...(interrupted by a call )

R- sir ,an emergency. No : 406 ,Ms. Annika has escaped from the prison

S- what ? How is that possible  ? What are you all doing there even  ?

R- nahi sir ,the nurse in the clinic is unconscious. Annika must have attacked her and escaped ,she has even changed her prison uniform.

S- listen Ramya ,alert all the control stations immediately. I'll be there...(something stricked him suddenly) ek minute Ramya ,in which hospital is the Minister admitted ?

R- xyz hospital sir .

S- ok .

He had no confirmation, but somewhere his intuition pointed to check at that hospital once. On the whole ,his suspection on her wasn't worn out completely.  So he thought of inspecting the hospital first, especially after knowing that she had escaped in a nurse's attire . There might be a chance ,he left to the hospital at once .

Fixing the nurse cap on her head ,she moved inside the same hospital. Luck worked good for her, as her nurse dress wasn't entirely different from the people there . She grabbed a surgical mask from a tray kept near the reception and wore it on . She scanned the place to find what can lead her to the Minister , but she knew that was indeed a difficult task as many guards would be present. But it was like now or never ,she has somehow reached till here ...so whatever it is , she should proceed further. 

Rushing out from the lift ,he straightly headed towards the VIP ward.

S- is everything fine?

He asked to one of the cops .

" yes sir "

S- andhar koi hai?

" ji sir ,ek nurse hai . Some injection..."

Before he could continue shivaay,pushed the door and ran in .

He was thrilled to find the patient running out of breath ,annika stood aside with the oxygen mask in her hand .

For a moment he was horrified witnessing her fiery fierce orbs which were fixed on the Minister who was fighting for life. She literally seemed a monster ,as her eyes meant satisfaction on watching the person suffer infront.

The cops who followed shivaay,realized the situation and aimed the pistol to take a shot on her . But shivaay immediately pushed their hands and threw the pistol . He instantly moved the other side and caught hold of her while the Doctor served the needed and brought the patient to normal again.

Annika's face grew aggressive looking at it ,she remained restless while shivaay asked everyone to hold their aim back .

S- plss ,don't shoot . See ,he is safe. You have no rights to shoot her now ,

He shouted ,

She lost all her patience now ,he trembled to hold her as she was just too strong in pushing him away .

A- nahi ,nahi...he should die ...he should die

She kept on muttering ,with her gaze filled with grudge .

The next second, she did something which horrified everyone there ,

A- I know papa ,he will die...he will die papa . I promise !

She voiced out loudly facing the other side ,which had none except the wall .She was repeating  the same ,looking at the plane wall. Shivaay's face was hell stricken ,what was she even doing ? Through each moment she was getting more hyper, she was acting totally uncontrollable.

A- leave me ,plss leave me .

She shouted pleading him ,and within few seconds she fainted losing her conscious as the Doctor had somehow managed to inject her .

This day couldn't ever get more worse ,with everything which had occurred . He still remained clueless ,but no ...he has lost all his patience now . He has to put an end to this now . With whatever he has witnessed ,he was sure that annika was the person behind everything from the beginning. But his emotion was nameless, he had no anger for her . The way she behaved in the hospital, just shook him . She's suffering from something terrible which she isn't sharing.

That's all enough ,he couldn't see her like this anymore. Still he could certainly feel  the shivers which grew on him watching her vulnerable state . He made his mind ,he would chase all ways to  save her from this mess ...whatever it takes. For that he had to know the truth first .

He has approached a psychiatrist, and asked for help in her case. After all which had occurred, he knew this was needed .

She was taken to an isolated room ,with only the Specialist and Shivaay present in there . Her condition was quite stable now ,the Dr treated and brought her to the subconscious state .

Dr- are... you feeling... sleepy now ?

She dragged the question ,for which annika responded with a slight nod and closed her eyes.

Dr- I'll ask a few questions to you and you will have to answer them ,

She sounded very low just above the tone of a whisper, and annika just hmmed in response .Shivaay watched her keenly ,

Dr- your name?

She took some time to answer ,

A- Annika Vardhan Trivedi,

She whispered,

Dr- why are you imprisoned?

She continued with the same tone ,

A- preethi ...murder....preethi ,

She shivered ,

Dr- ok ,ok fine . It's ok calm down . Leave that ,where do you live ?

A- hamare ghaav ,Delhi .

Dr- tho , why did you come to Mumbai ?

Her reaction changed at once ,

A- shivaay ,( she whispered )

Her lips were engaged in curving up to present a pleasant smile as she said his name . This sudden change in her face was clearly noticed by him. Gradually he smiled too, obvious reasons...he felt great for being the reason behind her smile, how delicately serene his name sounded . She has called his name for the first time !
