I'm really sorry for making you wait so long . With many books to handle , I'm being so irregular I know that . Hope I don't repeat this .

Annika slipped back on the couch and tried to sleep when shivaay left .

She wasn't even interested to check the house around , she just sat and leaned back in greed  to grab some sleep tonight .

Because, somewhere her heart alarmed saying ' you aren't alone ' . She trusts him.

Within few days , her life has already taken a turn resembling a qaudrator. Extreme to extreme.  A fine smooth lane of life was all she dreamt of . A good job to support her family and a loving partner with whom she could spend her life with all colours of happiness. Indeed , after happening to witness shivaay's photo she did get attracted to him by the very first sight . Admitted.

And now , with all the series of events going on she can clearly sense her heart pounding up to seek his love and care , when he's around.

She has hardly fallen for the man in all this mess of circumstances . Well , every fairytale doesn't happen in castles . Her's happened to occur in prison . There's no point which she can put forward to mention what she likes about him or when she knew that she loves him .

But the truth is,

The man shivaay , is her love .

But her brutal fate has planned to torture her since there's hardly any chance for him to reciprocate. She did tell him everything and he knows that she's the one whom his mom chose for him. But that alone can't stand a card for him to build feelings for her. Especially for a mere prisoner ... a mentally sick patient. She knew . It won't hurt if she plucks the bud before it could bloom out well .

She wanted to kill her love , bury her feelings within herself. It's hard , but she has to . In all her plan to avenge for her family's murder , she has no time for all this .

That's how her love story must end . There's nothing which god has kept for her in life rather darkness. She convinced herself before sleep could take  her .

It was only when she heard the door bell ringing continuously ,she woke up in the morning.

She turned around to spot the clock which stricked 9.30 am. After a long time , sleep finally wanted to engulf her last night.

After confirming through the peephole, she opened the door for shivaay who walked inside at once . She silently watched as he kept some bags on the couch and turned to her. Just when he was about to say anything , she spoke.

A- don't you think your risking your job ? I mean , what if someone spies on you and what if you get caught for helping me and then ,

Before she could utter any word further, he immediately pressed both her shoulders , indicating her to slow down. Her face slightly took a tilt to notice his palm lying on the spot near her collarbone . He slowly released his hold watching this .

S- annika , I think you didn't get me right yet . Punishing an innocent is the worst crime I can ever do as a person in authority . So I'll always keep trying to help you .

When he completed his affirmative words in that very dominating tone she was already tongue tied. He's helping her because he wants to save an innocent . The true honest nature of his is the reason why he's here with her . She etched this detail within her strongly.

Taking some clothes from the bag , he passed it to her.

S- I don know whether you'll like these , but I hope I still have a good taste .

There appeared an inch of smile on her lips watching that cute sceptical face of his . She didn't hesitate to take it .

A- thank you .

S - go and fresh up . We have much more to find out and work on now .

Maintaining a serious tone , he made his statement but her reply baffled him immediately.

A- uhh, do you know where the bedroom is ?

That was just a mere question which she asked popping her brows innocently. But he was really taken back by the thought that she hadn't even looked around this place yet .

He felt so distraught after seeing the way she's leading upon in life . Like , she hardly shows any interest to things .

The thought that she herself accepted this void and adjusted to go with it certainly hit something in him so hard.

He changed his bewildered face to a normal one.

S- I'll show you .

She watched him nod and followed him upstairs to the room at the right side .

Entering inside he paced around the room to clear open every curtain to cast the full bright beam of light to fall on the centre where she stood . She blinked a few times feeling the sudden grilled line of shining beams falling on her face. He opened the balcony door for the gushy morning wind to just travel along and touch her skin in no time.

There appeared a pleasant glow on his face when he turned back to witness her standing in the centre with her eyes closed and her lips inched on one side already . She liked it , liked to feel this ray of light after having celled inside the grilled gate for days .

He moved out from the room silently wanting to give her some lone space .

After half an hour , she came down descending down the stairs to only be baffled on finding Ramya there with shivaay .

Seemed like both keenly concentrated on something on the laptop screen and they periodically conversed , ofcourse  professional .

As he gradually moved his eyes from the keyboard to something up when his vision alarmed that she was already here , he literally paused his sight right on her while she contributed in the eyelock equally .

He did do a good choice with the clothes which he had bought for her . The pale pink sleeveless kurthi hugged her skin perfectly to show those slender curves on either sides . ' Why she alone tends to grab his attention everytime?' His mind popped up with this question which he entirely ignored in process of noting her features one by one.

As always , nil makeup on her face. That's something he liked more . Her naive attitude was spilled to wander around her eyes in which he studied her inner beauty . Her long hair perfectly tied up to a pony tail which danced on her back ,yet those tiny streaks  of hair on the frontline edging her forehead were taking chances to wave through her face planting a sudden urge in him to tuck them softly back to their place . He was bewitched by the lady who alone claims to be his diverting point anytime .

R- Sir , I've mailed you the copies of the blast case file which you had asked.

Soon he blinked out of his world hearing her and passed a nod before looking at annika again , who looked completely different on seeing Ramya here . He cleared his throat before stating.

S- don't worry annika , she's here to help.

Annika faintly smiled thinking how he had actually caught the reason behind her stare and cleared her thoughts. She then straightly walked towards them and sat on the single couch after presenting a nod to Ramya who acknowledged with the same in turn.

S- Ramya , none suspected you right ? Because these are some really confidential stuffs which you have uploaded.

R- no sir , these aren't from our domain rather from the Delhi station itself. I personally contacted  one friend of mine there to help me out .

S- Ohh Thank you so much Ramya .

R- it's ok sir , as far as I've known you , you wouldn't support what's not right .I trust your decision of helping her , so I'm always ready to do anything to help you in this case sir .

Shivaay smiled when she completed , while all the time annika could only grasp one thing. Whenever Ramya speaks with shivaay , there's a clear mist of glint in her eyes . A kind of admiration, and as a girl herself she could easily guess the meaning behind it .

Anyone would fall for this man . Even shivaay might like her too . That's why without trusting anyone in his department , he has seeked Ramya as a supportive hand even after knowing how sensitive the issue is . Indeed , he does trust her so much . Ramya can make a perfect match for him unlike her , she had a weak smile on her face which she wiped off before anyone could notice.

She couldn't take this fact easily as her feelings for him are certainly strong which she's getting to realise slowly. The first  and last man whom she thought could be the one for her is him . So obviously , it hurts to even think of him liking someone else .

For a few seconds she just stared at him keenly when his vision was occupied by the contents on the screen and she too , gradually peeped a little to see what's on it .

At once her eyes widened when she saw the picture of her parents on the screen . It seemed like some case report of the disaster which happened in her house . Since he was so into reading the lines , he didn't notice her devastated face .

She bit her lips and blinked a few times as she felt her head spin in a slow pace .

Gulping down a several times , she in atmost slow process turned her head back as she could sense someone calling her from behind .

A- chodungi nahi , I'll kill him papa ! Chodungi nahi usse !!!

Her sudden shriek freaked out Shivaay and Ramya who watched annika in thrill. She was certainly screaming at something behind and shivaay already knew what has happened to her but Ramya was totally horrified watching this .

He immediately got up and held annika's shoulders and tried to make her face him but she was strong.

S- annika , it's ok . Look at me annika ...!

A- papa , mein hoon na ! I'll kill him papa , mein...,

She started shouting vigorously when shivaay by now cupped her face and forced her to face him. Even after looking at him she didn't stop but kept muttering the same until ,

S- annika !

He shouted her name in a high tone that she almost shivered for a second and blinked many times looking here and there.

Then at last , she gulped hard before looking at him. She could feel her skin surrounded with sweat beads all over .

Her hands where still shivering continuously which she noticed before looking at the man who was now bending down on his knees , cupping her face.

A- I...I did something  r.ight ? I a.int normal.

She stammered to say these and he pressed his lips to a line and shook his head . He can't handle himself after watching her struggling like this .

A- I..am sick , I'm a men

Before she could utter anything, he closed her mouth with his palm and nodded in no while she already looked devastated .

Ramya who was shocked by everything , kept her hand on shivaay's shoulder from behind .

R- sir , did you hear her ? She wants to kill somebody. I don't think she's innocent and moreover, she ..she's mentally ill.

S- not a word more Ramya ! Please leave !!

He whisper yelled and Ramya almost got shocked . She was about to say something but stopped when she noticed him to be looking at annika in keen .

She left .

He then used his handkerchief to wipe out the sweat on her face while she looked blunt , emotionless. The hair strands which stuck to her face in sweat were all cleared when he tucked them behind her ears gently .

She bent down slowly when she felt his plams placed on her lap. He was looking at her with atmost concern , she felt that in his eyes . She was guilty to have made him face all this .

A point of silence covered the scene when both shared an emotional eyelock. He couldn't see her in this state which hurt him more and he could actually feel those thin layers of tears forming in his eyes which he retained within .

And very soon , one of his hand reached her cheeck from her lap and she didn't take any time to lean her face more feeling his touch.

S- I'm just going to ask one thing of you . Please be with me ,trust me ...! Don't loose hope.We are getting out of this , I promise .

His assuring eyes spoke much and a small tear drop came down her eye  which he immediately wiped with his thumb.

She nodded palming his hand which was covering her cheecks.
