Saachi

"What do you want for your birthday di?", Kabir asked me while Rudra was having his head in my lap. We were currently in our room having the sibling time of the day.

"I don't want anything", I told him as he gave me a boring look.

"Di I will give you a birthday card and chocolate", Rudra said excitedly as I kissed his cheeks. He squealed lightly making me chuckle.

"Rudra baby she is not a little child", Kabir told him. I shook my head.

"I am happy with his gifts. He is gifting me with love and it is enough for me", I told him as he gave me a irritating look making me laugh.

"See I have everything I don't need anything", I told him as he nodded slightly. 

"But still I wanted to give you something you would treasure", He said as I smiled.

"I will treasure everything you will give to me. After all you are the one who is gifting me with so much love", I told him as he kept his head on the other side of my lap. Thank god I only have two brothers. I don't have enough space for another head now. I kept combing their hair with my fingers as Rudra fall asleep hiding his face in my stomach. My little baby.

"He is such a baby", Kabir whined as I made him asleep on the other side of the bed covering his sides with pillows securing him properly.

"Shh", I patted Rudra's chest softly as he moved in his sleep.

"Let's go to the balcony", I told him standing up from my place.

"Why he gets to sleep cuddling with you while I got another bed? I am your brother as well", He complained as I smiled.

"Because he is a little baby", I told him.

"He is already 8", He pointed out.

"and you are going to be 14 soon", I told him as he shook his head.

"Kids", I heard Dadi ma shouting from garden as we peaked down from the railing to find her with a plate having chocolate cake.

"I am coming", Kabir shouted as he ran downstairs while I followed him after switching off our room's light and covering Rudra properly with the comforter.

"Leave something for Rudra as well", I told him as he pulled two pieces together. He gave me a pleading look while I shook my head. He sighed before nodding.

"What happened?", Dadi Ma asked as I kept my head on her shoulder.

"Just tired", I said sighing.

"How is college going on?", Ma asked me.

"Medical is difficult but I am trying", I told her as she nodded.

"You would do it. I have full faith in you", She said smiling assuringly as I nodded.

And than ma and Dadi ma started talking about someone's wedding. How the groom didn't match the beauty of the bride and how she married him just for the sake of his money? I don't really speak much in these matters but I really wanted to give my suggestion here.

"But what if she really loves him", I said as they both looked at me shockingly. Kabir started laughing loudly.

"Here comes the fairy princess", He commented as I pouted. He always make fun of me.

"Stop teasing my princess Kabir", I heard Pitaji as he sat beside me. I smiled brightly at him as he kept his hand on my head to bless me.

Kabir made a foul face eating his cake twisting his lips.

"From where these kids resemble me", Pitaji asked Ma as she shook her head before glaring at him.

"Thank god they are not having any resemblance with you. I can't tolerate another poker faced man in my house", She said as Pitaji smirked at her.

"And I am planning to throw that poker faced man out of the house soon", She said as Kabir giggled. I pressed my lips to stop myself from laughing.

"Come on Di. Hi-fi it was nice one", He said showing his hand.

"Nice ke bache(Son of nice)", Pitaji stood up making him run away.

"Pitaji I am not the son of nice. I am the first son of Ekansh and Aadya Pratap Singh. The current rulers of Udaipur making me the prince and if Di disagreed to take the throne I can be the crown prince as well", He said in a sing song manner making us laugh. Such a drama!

 "When will this boy grow up?", Pitaji said shaking his head.

"You would miss his childhood the most so stop doing the drama", Ma said leaning back in her seat. I smiled along with Pitaji.

"Di I am going to the Rose Garden. Are you Coming?", Kabir asked as I looked at Pitaji who nodded along with ma.

"Take care okay and take proper security team with you", Dadi Ma said as I nodded before running out to match the pace of Kabir because he was in no mood of slowing down.

Soon we reached there. I still remember everything. How I was about to get kidnapped and How that kind hearted guy helped me? I don't remember his name neither the boy with him. And I truly regret it and I wanted to say thank you to you personally stranger.

But I couldn't really do that so in turn I choose to pray for him everyday for his well being. I pray he get everything in his life. I was too young at that moment so I don't even remember the way to that place. I tried to find him near by but found no trace of him. The only regret I have is he would hate me for breaking the promise of not leaving his house till the time he came.

I sighed. May god give him whatever he admires and keep him healthy.

Here the beauty was unknowingly praying for her beast who was fighting for his life in the other part of the earth. One soul was agonizing for its other half. Both unaware of what the super power wrote in their fate.

"I said do something. You can't let him die like this", Aarya shouted on the doctors as the lines on the machines were beginning to get straight. Doctors already told him nothing can be done now. They couldn't save him.

"We couldn't do anything sir. His body denied to react any of the medication and treatment. We are so sorry", Doctor told him. Aarya pulled him with his collars. His eyes red with anger and the tears he was holding back.

"Pray to god may be he will listen to you. We can't do anything Mr. Thakur", Doctor told him as he shook his head.

"That god took everything from us and is now trying to take the only think I had good in my life. If he took my big brother from me I don't what I would do", He whispered.

"Doctor it seems like some miracle. His body started reacting to all the medications", A nurse shouted as Aarya looked too shocked to react.

"Mr. Thakur see god listen to your prayers", Doctor said with happiness. He was happy he would stay alive now.

"I never Prayed. I would never beg in front of that god who snatched every happiness from us", He told the doctor as he nodded.

"May be you didn't prayed but some other person unknowingly did", The doctor whispered which Aarya heard but choose to ignore.

"My brother is fine I don't care whatever the reason is", He said.

"The bullet is removed from his body right?", He asked the doctor who nodded.

"Any complications?", He stated to which doctor shook his head.

"When will he gain back his conscious", He asked.

"In 12 hours", Doctor responded to which he nodded. He caught his hand in a tight grip.

"How dare you try to leave me? You know I can't survive without you bro and I am definitely straight so don't tease me for this", He kissed his knuckles as tears fall down his eyes. He was scared he won't be able to save him and will remain alone in this selfish world.

He finally gained his conscious. He was not feeling any pain. He only want his revenge and he didn't even care if it killed him but he won't let his enemies live their life peacefully while he suffers.

"You scared me Yuvraj. Are you stupid what if something happened to you today?", Aarya asked him as he looked at him.

"You look horrible", Yuraj commented as Aarya glared at him.

"We only have each other in life. Don't do this stupid thing", Aarya glared at him as Yuvraj chuckled.

"On top of that that idiot doctor asked me to pray for you. Like seriously I won't ever plead to him", Aarya said as Yuvraj nodded.

"You know one weird thing", Aarya asked him to which he nodded.

"The doctor said something prayed for you", Aarya tried to make him realize.

"We are not talking about it again", Yuvraj said.

"Come on Yuvraj you are destroying your life like this. We both know she is the best choice for you", He said as Yuvraj shook his head.

"She is the best choice of everyone but a beast like me is not the best choice for her", He told him.

"Haven't you heard beauty belongs to her beast", He told him as Yuvraj chuckled.

"Even if she prayed for me she did it unknowingly and it is better I stay that stranger to her my whole life", He said as Aarya nodded slowly.

"But I will still say you should think about her", Aarya said.

"I have not even seen her once in these 9 years. She must have grown older", Yuvraj wondered looking at the white walls.

"No she would be the same 10 year old girl trying to make you like her", Aarya joked as Yuvraj shook his head. He knew she tried her level best so he could like her like other people. 

"The beast is completely tainted when she didn't even do anything", Aarya laughed hiding the disappointment when Yuvraj denied to bring her in his life. He deserved all the happiness in the world and she was the source of his happiness. 

"Aarya if she would be written in my destiny she would herself come in my arms", Yuvraj told him as Aarya shook his head knowing this would never happen. She was living her life peacefully with her family in Udaipur while they were here in the other corner of earth.

"Di would you stop looking at the rose. See it had gone red blushing with your attention. Have pity on the beautiful flower", Kabir said pulling Saachi out of her thoughts.

"What did you say?", She asked him. She didn't even heard a single word from his mouth.

"My dear sister I want ice- cream and you are accompanying me. I would accompany for today's evening prayer in the temple", He tried to make her agree to him. She smiled at his act.

"You can do what you like. But praying is important for an individual. It creates a connection between us and god", She told him as he shook his head.

"You pray for me as well than I don't have to do all these things", He said walking to the ice cream parluor as Saachi smiled. He won't ever change she thought shaking her head looking at the heaven.

"Take care of my little brother Kanha Ji", She wished silently closing her eyes.

"What are you doing di?", Kabir shouted as Saachi gave an apologizing smile.

"You would have your chocolate ice cream right", He asked her as she nodded.

"At least we have same taste", Kabir said side hugging her as she raised her eye brows at him.

"You don't have same taste as Rudra and I love this", Kabir told her as she laughed. He was really jealous of his little brother. He wanted his sister love for himself. He was definitely selfish for it. He thought having a small smile on his lips looking at the bright smile on his sister's lips.
